I will not do any business with Autonation Collission Center in Addison nor buy any Autonation services in that respect in the future. Employees Bad Attitude I decided to take my wifes car to Autonation Nissan because I had not-so-bad experience with their Nissan service center in Dallas before. After an accident, when you talk to somebody, you expect a little of empathy from someone from whom you ask for help. The receptionist to whom I spoke first to get some information was so rude to me. I asked her many times to be patient to listen to what I was looking for before she understood and transferred to a Collision Manager. The next person to whom I dealt with is Kevin, an Asst.Collision Manager. He is an utterly arrogant person. Unfortunately, I found out about his bad attitude after I signed the contract. Irresponsible agents It took a month to get my wifes car back after first I contacted them. Initially an agent named Scott asked me to bring the car in. Later I was told he was in a training. I wasted two days waiting on him. I had to then deal with Kevin who brought a sheet of paper to sign - thats all he was interested in. I had to keep calling him numerous times before he told me he sent the supplemental paper to Geico, but Geico did not receive the quote at all in that two days. After seeing his lack of response and bad attitude, I decided to pull my car back. Then Kevin threatened me with restocking fee and storage fee for the car. He told me he has all the parts in and ready to start working on it. I started following up on this, but after three days I visited the office and spoke to his Manager. He had an invoice on his desk and told me, I have to pay $1200 to take the car back from their lot. I visited my car to see what is this $1200 bill for? To my surprise, they did not do any dismantling of the car and the Manager had no idea about what was that amount for. He was also confused whether I would get the parts back if I pay $1200. The story Kevin told was absolutely wrong. It took 2 weeks to get the parts. Sorry to say this, once your car is in their lot you are stuck. They delay responding to you, so in the fear of paying their hefty restocking fee, you end up repairing the car there. Irresponsible managers I had to deal with few Collision Managers after I could not deal with Kevin. The managers are sweet talking, but they dont do anything special to take care of the situation. They dont return calls most of the time. However, they are not rude like other Asst. Collision Managers who work under them. I finally got the car back repaired after a month after I spoke to AutoNation corporate office and complained about the delay. This is only part of my experience. I have yet to find out whether they have completed the work as per the work order or they over charged me for parts. I will post in a different review about my experience on that.

My BMW was taken here after an accident that required major work. They work directly with the dealership closest to me, and I didnt really have any other options as to where it was taken. Ive had work done by a third-party collision center that worked with Baron BMW in Kansas City, and I had an incredibly positive experience, so I assumed most BMW dealerships were the same. Wish I were right about that. My car was in the shop for about a month, and I was ok with the length of time that it was gone. There was quite a bit of damage, so I knew it would be gone awhile, but there was very little communication with me from the beginning. I began receiving (automated) emails about two weeks before it was ready, so that was progress. They were always available when I called and did begin to call more frequently right before it was finished, so I appreciate that effort eventually. The problems started when I went to pick up my car. They, I had assumed, towed it back to my dealership, about 10 miles from where AutoNation is located. When I picked it up, everything seemed to be in order, but as soon as I turned the car on, I saw that my gas tank was completely empty. My driving range was 2 miles, which quickly dropped to 0 miles about 15 seconds into trying to drive off the lot, and I had to pull into a parking spot on the other side of my dealership because I knew I wouldnt make it to a gas station. I let them know, and they were able to find a gas can from the dealership and filled up my tank for me. Not the most ideal fix to a situation that shouldnt have been an issue in the first place, but at least they jumped on it and did something about it. It wasnt until I got my car home that I realized they hadnt even finished the job. There were two lug nuts missing on the wheel they were primarily (if not only) working on, as well as the decorative BMW wheel cap. Not only were the lug nuts missing, but they had even made a note that they were missing ON THE WHEEL. Im assuming that was a note for the repairmen in the shop, but now Im wondering if it was just a warning for me and I was expected to fix it myself. I have no idea who was responsible for making sure my car was really ready to go, but they clearly were not paying attention. I will never have my car taken here again. This is just one issue that I can see, I only hope that the rest of my car is safe to drive and I dont experience any other issues in the future due to this repair. I would have let them keep my car for another month if it meant that they had paid closer attention before sending it back to me.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I tend to think any positive review of this place is likely fraudulent and done from within the company. Im not exaggerating or being vindictive, but based on my experience and what Ive read from others, you should TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! My new 2015 BMW M3 was rear ended in a hit and run on 1/19/15 with heavy damage. It was towed to BMW Dallas, then to Autonation Collision Center in Addison for estimating the damage (both huge mistakes on my part). The guy estimating the damage was Matt Grace, his supervisor is Jeff Galloway. He got the damage estimate at $40k, and then said he had to communicate directly with BMW Germany on a wiring harness that could be $15k. He went into an elaborate explanation of how this wiring harness is not manufactured separately from the new vehicles and how BMW Germany would have to halt production on a new M3 and take the wiring harness from it. Then, they would see if just the rear portion of the harness could be fitted to my car. He added that communication could only be done through general emails to Germany (?!), so this could take weeks to months, JUST TO GET PRICING and info on the part. Sounded fishy from day one, but ok, I really had no other options. Monday will be three weeks and this place still cant determine if my car is even repairable or totaled. My adjustor finally talks to this guy himself yesterday. Matt Grace now tells my adjustor, he can repair the vehicle without the elusive wiring harness, just using some basic wiring for a few hundred dollars. HUH?! This is shady and fraudulent business behavior! Then why havent they started repairing it?? Why did they wait almost three weeks for information on a part they now say they dont even need?? Why are they refusing to total a car that likely should be totaled?? I can make may assumptions about the answers to these questions, but I wont. My adjustor determined the damage and salvage price to have totaled the vehicle, so hopefully his manager will approve it, and I will not have to deal with Autonation anymore. Regardless, if my vehicle was repairable, why after three weeks, have no repairs even started? If it is totaled, why are they delaying the estimate for parts weeks later they say they do not even need? RED FLAGS all around!! Do yourself and your vehicle a favor and take it somewhere else that doesnt do business in these deceptive and fraudulent manners.
