If I could give less than one star believe me I would. Good place to buy movies, etc. but TERRIBLE place to try and sell your things to. The sign says they wont rip you off and theyll give you your moneys worth but thats just a lie. I went in today with my boyfriend to sell 2 complete movie sets(5 in each), a 3 movie set, and a collector edition movie set. All of which are worth $20 or more each. Keep in mind they were throwing stuff at us that they didnt want. And to top it off they offered $13.00 cash. Are you serious?! We politely said no and the person helping us, (Ben) storms off and doesnt say another word and starts doing something else. Great customer service. We have to gather all of our stuff up he threw everywhere and leave without even a "have a nice day" or even a smile. He acted like we wasted his time when its his JOB to examine stuff before they give a price. Hes constantly rude when we go in to shop, or try to sell. Just terrible customer service.

The staff is awesome! We had a bad issue with movie trading company in Lewisville, (we will never go back to Lewisvilles location!) bought a defective playstation 1 and they didnt want to give us a return./refund. So we went to this one in denton, and Elie helped us out! She was able to get us a full return on the playstation 1. She did all should could to get us our refund. She was very sweet, kind and professional! An awesome employee! Even though it was Lewisvilles problem, she handled it all very well! We need more hard workers like this girl! Thank you Elie for your time and work! Workers like this are what keep us customers to want to keep coming back to buy more! You rock!

I have always been a fan of Lewisvilles MTC but hadnt visited the Denton locale until February 2015. I feel like the building is too big, its nowhere near filled looking, leaving much to the imagination - my honest opinion is that this store is more centered around childrens things when the Lewisville store had more cult classic stuff. That being said, the staff was completely friendly and more than helpful, very informative. Also, if you make/made extra $$ by selling your used movies to Recycled Books (or Hastings back in the day) then you should come here, they take pretty much EVERYTHING you bring in & give you a much better price!!

This place is awesome! Its pretty new and is absolutely huge. They have DVDs (movies and TV shows), VHS, video games, posters, records and CDs, and trading cards (pokemon, magic). You can also buy refurbished consoles and accessories in bundles for good deals. They also have a pretty solid collection of older games and consoles for cheaper than what you can find online normally. Imo, the best thing is that you can rent new games that havent hit redbox yet. Make sure you bring your ID if using a card, they always ID and have refused to sell to me before when I didnt have it.

I dont know why there is such low ratings on Yelp. Everytime I go there, the staff is very helpful and nice. This place is fantastic! I try to come here at least once or twice a month. Lots of movies, definitely a lot of hard to find ones (DVD, Blu-ray and VHS), games (new and retro systems), comics, cds, vinyl and collectables. I LOVE this store!!! I hope it stays open for a while. I was a little bitter when Hastings closed, but was happy when I found out what they replaced it with. :)

Wasnt impress when i tried selling them stuff and they only offered me less than what i paid and when i told them no thanks the guy helping me was rude about it and walks away. This place will rip you off even though there signs say they wont, theyre a bunch of liars!! And their managers and employees are plain rude. Dont sell them stuff!!!

This place is good to buy CDs, DVDs, Games and Action figures but really blows when you want to sell your stuff to them. They wanted to give me $7 for my Wii Console with 2 controllers and 4 games. Also they wanted to give me 12¢ or less per DVDs or Blue-rays ... really?

An extremely eclectic selection of pop & nerd culture items from the last 30 years. You can rent a Blu-ray and pick up an original NES Zapper at the same place. If nothing else, take some time to walk the aisles. You never know what crazy stuff youll find!

Overall staff is good. I wanted to return a game I bought and they said theyd have to charge a rental fee of $8 on a $10 game. Thought that was bogus and wound up not paying that. Big store, lots of inventory.

As usual with these places, trade ins are almost worthless. Selection is pretty good. But honestly, who still buys movies and such on disc? Used games, I can see a use for, and they have plenty.

Cool place, very organized. People there are all pretty young and look like they go to either TWU or UNT. They are very nice and helpful. I recommend this place for sure!

Place is great especially for comics. Most comics come in a plastic sleeve with cardboard back that doesnt cost any extra like most stores.
