This has to be the most rinky-dink, small-time cable company in the country. We went with them for Internet service because SuddenLink was not available in our area. We have been totally disappointed in their service, and their attitude towards their customers. In the roughly six months we have had service, there have been 4 outages! We have a business that relies heavily on the Internet, and this is unacceptable. We had SBC DSL before, and other than the speed being slower, it was much more reliable. 1 outage in over 5 years of service! When called, they act as if you are bothering them, and have even given smart remarks to serious questions. Go with DirecTV, DISHNet, ANYTHING before trying this horrible cable provider!

Just awful. Not only are they unbelievably overpriced, they are without a doubt the worst service provider Ive ever had, for ANY service. The only reason why they have any customers whatsoever in this area (i.e. just outside of Tyler, TX) is because they are the only non-Satellite/DSL provider out here. Cable internet speeds are pathetic (for cable,) and unbelievably unreliable. Id rather just tether my entire home network to my 4G/LTE phone than have to rely on A LANDLINE from Northland. If I could give a negative rating, I would. I feel Northland owes me all the money Ive paid them over the past year and a half, and then some just for putting up with them.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. Unfortunately they are the sole internet provider in my area of Flint, TX. I live about 2 miles from their main office. The internet crashes almost daily and is sometimes out for days at a time. In the past year I have had 4 different technicians come out to my house on about 6-7 different occasions. All of them have told me completely different things and the problems persist for me and my neighbors. Basically this company knows they are a monopoly for the area so they are not concerned with providing good service.

This company is AWFUL dont ever go to them if you have a choice. They are VERY VERY unreliable. You never know when your internet will randomly go out, but it happens ALL OF THE TIME. I wish they would refund many months worth of pay due to the amount of times I have been without internet because of them. There was once a period where I had gone an ENTIRE MONTH without internet and yet still had to pay for it. Complete and total joke is what this company is.

I have internet and phone service from them, and it has been fine. The internet went out a few times , but they came out and fixed the loose wire on the pole. I have ordered the TV package now, Will let you know how that goes soon.

Horrible service. Everyone from installation to customer service. And its not just me, my neighbors, friends and parents all have the same opinion. I was warned not to use them and now I know why. Dish Network here I come.

Why pay for Internet service thats not going to work ? If you feel like waisting money donate it to someone who is in need instead of giving it to the northland rip off Co!!!!

internet isnt bad but the people in the office .. good luck getting help with these unpleasant people. worst cust. service ive ever known.
