Dealing with Charter over the last year and a half has been the BIGGEST pain in the ass! Every time I called they took forever to do anything I needed them to do and were really rude. They changed the price for my internet every month and without warning they moved my billing cycle from the end of the month to the beginning. My roommate originally set up the account but I was the one paying the bill each month. My roommate moved away and I couldnt adjust much of anything on my account without her. Each time I dealt with them left me frustrated. Not to mention, their internet was EXTREMELY spotty, and if you want to hook it up to a Smart Tv, it will go out on you at least once a day. If I ever move back to the Mankato area, I would pick Consolidated Communications over Charter. I went in to cancel my service today and the lady at the front desk, Kim, was so nice and understanding. Were supposed to get a blizzard and she said they wont be closing early. Charter has a crappy calling service and poor management, but I really appreciated Kim the desk worker. Shes the only reason their service is worth a star.

Wow, dont even try to cancel or change your service. Me: Id like to cancel my tv and keep the internet. Him: No! Please reconsider! Is it the price? Because we can... Me: I just dont watch it. Him: Would you like it if we added some channels... Me: Please cancel it. Him: Is it someone else? Have you been price checking? Because we can change! Me: Please cancel it.. Him: No! Do you like a few channels? Because we can... Me: CANCEL IT! Him: No! Please reconsider. We have a new deal... Me: CANCEL IT! Him: Just think about what youre doing! Me: GET ME YOUR SUPERVISOR. Him: Good idea. Maybe he can talk you out of this.

Im doing online classes and it sucks because my internet always quits right before a paper is due or when I really need it. If you are on the internet for let say... 2 hours, you are likely to have it quit on you at least 3 times for 5 min or more each time. Would not recommend.

Absolutely the worst place to do business. It takes an act of congress to talk with a rep, along with them being rude while "trying" to help. Please save yourself the time and money and go with something else.

They said I would get 60mbps or higher. Im routinely averaging 70 and never below 60. Thank you for delivering what you promise unlike any other provider! Would recommend to anyone in the mankato area!

Just flat straight the worst internet. 60? More like 1-6 I highly do not recommend this internet, I live right by the tower and its still slow..

Terrible it lags every night ive had them come to house to fix it and they blamed all my nabors wifi so used cables instead and had same isue

Do not get your internet through here. You dont get the speeds that you pay for. Back customer service as well
