Regarding the review from Brian Athey, below was the letter sent to Mr. Athey. We have yet to hear back from him: Mr. Athey, I recently became aware of a negative review on our company posted by you on Google reviews. I was aware that Freddie Gilbert missed an appointment with you on 2/2/15 at 10AM. It turns out Freddie accidently marked the appointment reminder in his phone for 10PM instead of 10AM. After you called the office to inform us no one showed up, I had Freddie call you to apologize. He told me that he left you a voicemail but received no additional calls from you prior or after the voicemail. I would like to personally apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I know your time is valuable so I would like to offer you a free $500 value roof repair to make amends. This is a no-obligation free repair. If you have already had your roof fixed, I would gladly offer you this as a credit on some other home services. I hope you will accept this as our apology. We are a good company and we take customer service and our reputation very seriously. I personally take these complaints personally as it is my name on the Company. Although, this may not change your initial impression of our Company, maybe it will change it for the future. I also realize that you may not change your Google review, but just maybe you can post another after we complete the free repairs for you. You may have had your repairs completed already by another company so if you would like to pass this on to a friend or family, that’s okay as well. Feel free to contact me directly (cell phone and email address below) and I will personally come look at your home. Here is a personal apology from our representative, Freddie Gilbert”: “Mr. Athey, My name is Freddie Gilbert and I was the estimator you spoke with in regards to your roofing repairs. I am writing this letter to you to express my sincerest apologies for missing our appointment. Although there is no excuse for ever doing so I just want you to know I did not miss it intentionally. I simply set the appointment time and alert wrong in my phone calendar. I had it set for PM as opposed to AM and didnt realize the mistake until I received a call from my office in regards to missing the appointment. I can assure you this is not how we conduct our business. Missing an appointment and not talking with a customer is unacceptable and that is very uncharacteristic of myself and our company. I cannot apologize enough. I contacted Meis Roofing and had my call returned a couple hours later to have an estimate set up. It was set up for 10AM the next morning. Meis never showed up or called. I contacted the guy that was supposed to come out but he never answered. I thought maybe (highly unlikely but maybe) he said 2pm and I wrote it down wrong. I waited until 2pm and still no show. I contacted the main office and they said sorry . I told them to take me off their list as not to call for a follow up. Very poor service for a business that does roofing. Not the kind of guys I want reroofing / inspecting my $800,000 house.

Meis Roofing recently completed two very large commercial re-roofing projects for D&R Construction. One being a 650 Square job that was 3 story and 10/12 steep, and the other being a huge, 2500 Square, 18 building complex. Meis Roofing & Construction was reliable, professional and completed the job in a timely fashion. They did excellent work, took care of any issues and were a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Meis Roofing & Construction to anyone needing a reputable company to do any commercial re-roofing.

I didnt even call or have work done by this company. I did however experience a disgruntled and unprofessional old lady employee. The old lady was in front of me in a red toyota truck on diaz street right infront of the companys place of business when the employee veered to the wrong side of the road i applied my brakes and the old lady pulled in flipping me off and yelling obscenities at me while trying to get inside the gated parking lot. I dont need a roof but i find that VERY unprofessional.

Meis Roofing & Construction constructed a large patio on the back of my home, as well as replaced some siding and other rotten wood and the roof, as well as repainting the exterior of my home. They showed up on time, all the different crews were polite and easy to work with. My house has been transformed, I absolutely love my new roof, patio and paint colors. Your crews even cleaned up well after they were finished. Thank you for a job well done. I have recommended you to all of my friends!

service during our re-roofing project. Our salesmen even came out during a thunderstorm to tarp a hole in the roof before the insurance claim was finalized. We knew right then we had chose the right company for the job and we were right...our new roof looks great!
