I am at this gym 3 times a week at least and there has never been a full bottle of cleaning fluid. The majority of the time I have to take it up to the front counter and then I get looks as though the staff as no idea why I am giving it to them. The equipment is disgusting and looks as though it is never cleaned. When I approach the counter to give my gym card, the staff is always engaged in personal conversation and barely acknowledge me. I feel as though I am inconveniencing them to get into the gym that I pay for every month. I am also surprised that there is not more attention given to the overweight people in the gym that are obviously struggling with how to use the equipment. 24 Hr Fitness is making a lot of money from The Biggest Loser television show but they are not helping overweight people better themselves. A gym membership is expensive and then to have to pay for a personal trainer on top of it may be too much. There should be someone on the floor at all times just assisting.

After a couple of years and a few incidents Ive cancelled my account. Management is never available according to staff members. Steamroom has mildew/mold and broken tiles. People scrape their dead skin off their feet in wet area by hot tub. Blow their nose onto the walking area of the pool. You can report it but it still doesnt get cleaned. Ive emailed Corp and requested a call back so I could send pictures and nothing. The last straw was a string of inconsistencies. Called customer service and "Deidre" hung up on me. Sales rep lied to me about annual fee. He said it was one annual fee per account not member. I was charged 2x. Rep was going to charge me $10 for putting freeze on my sons account. Even after I told him he was in school and didnt have time anymore. Cust Serv rep said it should have been free. They took my number and "promised" me a call back the following day. Its been a little over a week. No call. Do comparisons of other facilities before signing up here.

The only good thing I can say is that its open 24 hours which is major plus especially if you have a busy schedule. Ive been going to this location for a few years and its consistently dirty. Im a guy so I cant speak for the womens locker room but the mens facility is somewhat dirty most of the time. The showers take the filth level to whole other degree of grossness. In fact I tried to take a shower and immediately turned around and walked right out of there. The sauna is gross probably due to neglect and bad hygiene from some members. The pool is great if you like swimming in dirty bath water. Theirs really no place to stretch because the back area is now reserved for their TC 24 group training. Think CrossFit for kids. The cardio machines (stair master, elliptical, treadmills) are old compared to other places like LifeTime. When ANYTHING breaks expect not to be able to use that piece of equipment for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Ive been working out for the past 10 years all over grand prairie and arlington. Ive worked at a private gym for the last 5 years. Let me just say that out of the 20 or so gyms (mostly 24 hr fitnesses) Ive been to, this one is by far the most dirty, unfriendly, malfunctioning and un-kept gym. Bring your own towel because they never refill the towel dispenser. Do not assume that any of the staff will assist you. Bring flip flops and rubber gloves for shower and gas mask for sauna. Dirty, gross, unfriendly. this is the first time ive ever left a review so it must be bad for me to be motivated to get on here and tell whoever cares to look.

Friendly staff, new machines, new LCD tvs. Nice crowd of people also, gay population is low in this gym compare to others (which is good for us straight guys) Best steam room in the area, sauna is not as hot as it should be but still good. Great jacuzzi but they need to clean it more then once a week. Great showers, small locker room. THings to note: Do not buy from the Asian salesperson Lee, he will push and try to overcharge you. Happened to a few friends. All the other staff is GREAT. Swimsuit Dryer has been broken for over a year with a sign on it. lol Great place to workout or hang out!!! Highly recommended!!!!

Same as other gym in Grand Prairie? Staff knows my name before I check in, regularly see the same faces. Always had help with problems. Gym isnt cleanest in general but Ive seen the GM scrub the pool area, cleaning people vacuuming and scrubbing treadmills and ellipticals. Members complain about dumb stuff, over heard a woman saying the Zumba classes were too big this summer and they should have all Zumba classes, I take cycle and they bumped my class to make another Zumba class - I didnt complain(too much- its done by some district person) Grow up, clean up, workout and go home - great place for me and my family!

Horrible place to work out and an even more horrible place to work. Management does not care about employees nor do they care about members. They will sell you a membership, and you will pay to go to a facility that is always dirty, has staff that is not competent at their jobs, and management that "aged into" their positions and dont care so long as they receive their salary check every month. And if you choose to cancel your membership, prepare to hire a private investigator because youll NEVER get in touch with someone in management, and theyll give the runaround for as long as they can.

The only time Ive gone in this gym is to tell the management to pick up their trash in the front of their business. Apparently they have no responsibility, or any respect for the community or this planet, because I was told that the landlord had his own cleaning crew, and that it wasnt their job to pick the trash up. They also stated that they "couldnt help where the trash stopped." This is unexceptable and disgusting. Every single time I drive to that shopping center, which is constantly, I have to drive by this trash pile.

Tried to go there this morning with a free 3 day pass. They sent me over to one of the guys who work at the desk. He tried to have me pay $20 a day. I showed him the pass and he said this gym doesnt offer it. I wish I gotten his name, but hes the bald Caucasian guy w/ facial hair. Im not stupid so I left. But i have been there recently I wont put how, but its an alright gym. Dumbells are sometimes scattered so I cant find the weight Im looking for. But thats the people who wont put back their weights when theyre done.

I just relocated to the area. Joined this facility for three months. The staff has been upbeat and energetic and helpful. The facility improved with the addition of the strength training area. The mens shower area / locker room is mediocre, but it is a high use facility, so that is normal. I like that it is always jammin - it is good to see a gym that is busy. For the price, 24 Hour Fitness is a great solution for a fitness facility. FYI-The pool is too small for practical use.
