I have become really disappointed in the decline of this location. I am in there every day at various times of day and the following problems are prevalent regardless of the time of day. My main issue is with the lack of Barbells. They are missing at least 3 barbells and they have been missing for a while. They gym has 4 bench press, 2 incline, 1 decline, 1 shoulder press, and 3 squat racks. They should have at least one bar for each bench/rack (11 total). From what I can gather, they only have 8 barbells total so there are always 3 missing from various benches/racks. Sometimes people decide to take one for dead-lift or over to the training area so if you need to use a bench or squat rack then you are SOL. They need to replace the missing barbells and probably add at least two extra in the corner for people to have for dead-lift. My second issue is the lack of cleanliness. I am not talking about dirtiness of machines or equipment but the lack of dumbbells and plate re-racked. If you want a dumbbell between 5lbs and 45lbs then forget it. You will have to go looking around the gym for what you need. I know the person that last used the equipment should pick up after themselves but a lot dont. I believe staff should help keep the place in order and help spread the word to clean up after yourself. I am not sure if is lazy staff or not in the job description but this is not happening. I often find myself putting back other peoples mess. Until the barbells are at least replace, this location receives a one star.

I usually dont do reviews on things that are not worth like this gym for example. Ok got a membership thinking about that I would use the gym. (OK my fault) never used it and pay around $70.00. So far my fault. I called and cancelled my membership a month after I opened up.over the phone first time they cancelled it (first and last month right ) 2 months after it showed on my bank account that 2 times $35.00 dols were charged and 2 times $5.00 late fee were charged. I called to corporate and they said no cancellation was made, and that they dont do cancellation over the phone. This lady said that she would go ahead and do it she asked me for my email address to send me a confirmation number and saying that no refund was made since there is no documentation in their records about it. And she said that not refound can be made of the 2 times $35.00 but she would refund me the $10.00 late fees. Ok so far okay. Next morning I opened my bank account over the phone and guess what?! Another $35.00 where charge on my account!!!! Great!! This company not also is good about buying other gyms but also stilling peoples money!!! So I called right after I swear some sailor words. And almost had a heart attack literally, no jock. I called again and it turned out that they couldnt find my membership account neither my phone number and that since is a Saturday they would called me back on Monday. Ok so far Ive been so patient. Is their anyone here that is a lawyer and would like to sue this company for me if its possible?

I used to like this place but lately I always think twice to workout there. The staff in there is not friendly at all, the AC seems to be off all the time, I feel like Im burning in there, and you are not allowed to help someone to workout, or be help by someone cause they have a "policy" that wont let you "train" with someone, Ive seen the staff telling people "you cannot be helping this person" even if you are just training with your friends they will complain about that, I know the business wants you to pay their trainers to do that but come on. I had a group of friends that used to workout over there all together but the manager cancel the membership of one of us, ONLY ONE, and they were so rude at him. Ive seen the group of guys that play bascketball always going to workout with a guy training them, giving instructions and never say ANYTHING to him at all, So is that policy applying for everyone or who?. Last week there was a parent with his family, he had like 3 sons with him and he was helping them and training since they just started to workout and again they told him HE CANNOT DO THAT jajajaja so ridiculous. Now they have a promo where you can add a member of your family there, so Am I gonna be able to train with my family, and help someone in my family? or are you gonna take us out like you already did with some else before. Of course Im not referring this gym to any member of my family, noooo way!

I dont think the poor reviews are quite fair on here, although I do know some thefts have been reported. Ive been going about 6 months here. I always use a lock (youd be surprised how many lockers are full and left unlocked, I see them everyday while looking for a locker for myself..it might add to the thefts, you think?), Ive never had any issues with my car or seen any weird activity and I always go late at night. The cost is reasonable, it only seems really crowded right after the workday lets out, which is expected. I do find that the class times are hard to make, but my biggest draw is for the pool, which is usually not too crowded (although if you are a competitive swimmer you might look around, the people who dont know how to share a lane and dont understand when you try to explain it to them are incredibly annoying). But otherwise everything seems clean and neat. Pool water is a little cloudy sometimes (North Lake College has a better pool, but I couldnt make the early morning open swim times). Personnel work on commission, so be aware of the sales pitch to do training and sign up as a member. They werent too pushy for me but I definitely had to go slow and watch what I signed up for at first. Just be aware that they want to sell you everything. I think its in a great location though and I have been happy with my overall experience so far.

Most of the bad reviews must be from entitled fools. This is a gym, people sweat and stink, thats what happens when you exercise. If youre complaining about the contract, you should have read over the contract. Ive never had a problem with canceling or re-activating my membership. The gym is fairly clean, again, people sweat and stink while exercising. The dumbbell issue is a little bothersome, however it is mainly the 10-30lb weights that are used. They are not all over the gym. I frequent this gym at many differ times during the day, and it is never too crowded. I rarely have to wait for equipment, plus the gym is fairly large. The entitled people must not like waiting for the bicep curl machine when they could grab a preloaded barbell or go to one of the many other cable machines or free weights. Bathrooms, locker rooms, saunas, and pool are above average condition, again this is a gym. Yes, a lot of roided guys with twig legs, but that means the squat racks are usually always open. This allows you to literally perform any exercise you want. Im from Philadelphia, Ive been to gyms all over this country from my time in the US Navy. This gym is above average. People who give this gym 1-2 stars would probably die from shock if they entered the average local gym.
