Dont rent from this company - unless you like that gotcha feeling. Rental was ok, but i received a threatening email to pay toll charges 11 months after the rental. Glad to pay any tolls that come to me on a reasonable time frame, but the emails were adding $35 in admin fees (on $2 of tolls) and the emails were threatening additional admin fees and collection/attorney action. I did not receive any contact or emails from the rental dealer or the corporate office before these showed up at the 11 month mark. When i went online to review the charges, those numbers didnt match the email charges so i have been on the phone for a long while. They claimed it was because of a system error - this looks like a scam to me. The local manager at the Grapevine location was hostile and completely unhelpful to resolve this - saying this is corporate and referring me to a 888 number. So far i have spent over 2 hours trying to resolve this.

I typically dont go out of my way to post a negative review, but this one deserves the 5-minutes out of my day. Staff was incredibly rude, both on the phone during the reservation (which I ultimately just ended up making online), when I picked up the vehicle and when I dropped it off. When I notified them that they forgot the moving blankets, the response was an eye-roll and heavy sigh. The big guy with glasses working the register (sorry, didnt catch his name) was so rude to everyone he checked out that every customer in line was just shaking their head in disbelief. Its a shame places like this arent held accountable for their complete disregard for customer service, but hopefully this post will help. If you find this review before making a reservation, do yourself a favor and drive a few extra miles to another Uhaul center. If you risk it, be sure to call them out when they step out of line.

Superb overall experience. Super clean vehicles and very nice & friendly staff! Alexandria did a great job to check us in. I made stupid mistake when returning the van at night and accidently dropped my own car keys into the "key return night box" while the U-Haul van keys were still in my pockets. Lol I called U-Haul customer service to help as I would not be able to start my car nor would I get into my home without these keys. I was extremely surprised when (again) Alexandria pulled up after only 10-15 minutes at night to get the keys exchanged for me! Now - this was an extraordinary customer service! Thanks again! We had a few U-Haul vehicles previously from their location at 2630 W Irving Blvd Irving, TX 75061. This was a horrible place with very rude staff so we are very happy to have found the Grapevine, TX U-Haul location!

Horrible experience. Rented a trailer on line a month prior to my move at a location 2 miles from my house. Took my wifes SUV in for their safety inspection. They basically ignored me and said everything is okay without looking at SUV. Received a call from Uhual the day before my move stating that my local center didnt have that trailer and now I would have to drive 40 miles round trip to the nearest center that had that trailer. Drove to that location only to fond out something was wrong with the wiring on my wifes SUV. (If only I they did the safety check 3 days ago). (This wasted 90 minutes of my day). Then had to drive to another Uhual location to have this fixed (60 minutes for drive, 30 minutes for repair). Then drove all the way back to pick up the trailer. what a day....

I can honestly say that the customer service at this business was terrible. There was an extremely rude attitude from all of the employees, and even the general manager. I brought the truck that I rented back 5 minutes before closing, and was actually told by a representative that walking back into the office that "I just missed them" and that I needed to put the keys into the night time drop box. It wasnt until after I told him that another one of the workers walked right past me as I parked the truck in the equipment return lane that he would take the keys and give me my total. I was treated as if I was just another pain to deal with. Will be using Enterprise next time.

So I had to rent some moving blankets in Dallas to take to Lubbock (u-haul was apparently out of blankets in the entire city of Lubbock). They front counter staff was super nice and they even carried the blankets out to my truck. On the return side things were a little different. The lack of personality of the gentleman checking me in was painful. He was blunt and short in his speaking but the saving grace was that it took less than 3 minutes in and out. If you dont mind the lack of conversation you wont mind dealing with this place.

Spent 4 hours getting a hitch installed when I was told "about 30 minutes, maybe less" multiple times. Additionally, they did not start working on my car until about 12:30 when I had an appointment at 11:15. If you are going to take reservations, why would you not make a reservation for me when you had availability? Thats disrespectful of my time. Lastly, they left my car running when I didnt have much gas and I left the UHaul place almost completely on E. Such bull$hit, pardon my French.

Ive used this location multiple times. This is my U-Haul place. They take care of me here. Although like all of life, they cant control everything that happens. This is the real world. Things dont always go perfectly where you work either. But when something did go wrong with the van I rented last year, they sent someone right out. They repaired it and got me on my way again. And just now, I was able to rent a small box truck. On a Saturday afternoon. At the end of the month.

Didnt rent from this location this time, but did participate in their give a box, take a box program after having moved to the area. The staff was less than personable or helpful. I carried in three loads of boxes by myself with literally no interaction or assistance. Im old fashion and I still believe in good customer service.

Made a reservation online. Called ahead the day of pick up to see if I could pick up early and they already had the truck ready and waiting. Pick up procedure went quickly and smoothly. Return process took no time at all. This is a well run location. Staff is friendly and works hard to get you in and out in a timely manner.

Excellent!!!!! The whole experience (truck rental and storage rental) was quick and easy. My scheduled day to move was on a bad weather day and luckily the general manager, Becky, worked with me to reschedule as well as saved me some $$$...

Nothing but good things to say about this Uhaul location. I have rented Uhauls from them on numerous occasions and I have also had them install a tow hitch on my truck. Very great people here. Would recommend using this Uhaul.
