I have moved nearly 10 times in my life with all top notch companies and this was the worst experience of my life. Although they quoted me a move time of ~4 weeks, they actually did not deliver my items for almost 4 months, and that was after I made repeated calls and emails demanding an update on where my items were. Misti, who was handling the move from their Texas office, was utterly unprofessional and refused to give me an update on when I would ever see my things again. She constantly gave me an excuse that they had to wait for the trucks to be filled with other moves before they could deliver my move. When the items finally arrived, they directed the movers to not unload my truck unless I handed over cash for the entire move. When I brought out the contract that said I could pay with a credit card or check, they still would not relent. Finally, I had to call the CEO, Kobi Amsalem, the biggest sleazeball I have ever met in my life. He offered to give me a discount for 50% if I would agree to write a 5-star Yelp review for them despite this being the worst experience of my life. He demanded to have a copy of my drivers license, for no reason, before he would allow the movers to remove my things from the truck. He even told me that if I submitted a negative Yelp review, he could always change his companys name and continue to operate and get rid of old ratings. Finally, when I threatened to call the police, the local new station, and my attorney, he agreed to release my things. Even the movers who witnessed the whole thing were astounded by what I had to do to get my items off the truck that day. When the movers delivered my things, nearly everything was damaged. I had 6 boxes missing, my dining chairs were broken, I had a missing table, my expensive new sectional couch hand a long rip in the leather, my beautiful and new dining table was stained and chipped in multiple places, and my new LCD TV (still packaged in its box) was completely shattered and unusable. I have never in my life had a worst experience and knew there was no point in even trying to file a missing or damaged goods report. This company is run by unprofessional, unscrupulous individuals who deserve to have their business license revoked. Do not choose this company unless you want your treasured items to disappear into a black hole for months and reemerge broken or missing.

This is move 4 in 4 years so I feel like I know a good moving company from a bad one now. I googled moving companies and came across CNET Top Ten reviews which recommended International Van Lines as the BEST long distance mover. I submitted an online quote and was contacted by Mike. After several exchanges and comparisons with competitors, we signed with IVL. IVL subcontracted to American Knights Moving. The movers, Jesus and 2 others, arrived on time with packing materials in tow! Jesus walked us step by step through their process - take inventory and match to our provided inventory list. We had a 4hr move window with our apartment freight elevator and after taking inventory he was up front that we under estimated our cubic feet of goods and would not make that window. He was so calming and reassuring that it would get taken care of and in my frantic state, advised me of what we could do - gave me options of what he could go ahead and load and when he could come back. LUCKY for us - the scheduled move at our apartment behind us didnt show so we got to use the elevator as long as needed AND Jesus was able to stay longer than planned to finish the job the same day! On the back end the movers arrived in Omaha at an earlier date than estimated! They unloaded in under 2 hours and were super nice! NOT. ONE. THING. was broke or scratched!!!!!!!! NOTHING! Superb care was taken by Jesus and his team crating and wrapping all loose and over-sized items. I would definitely recommend American Knights Moving and use them again. A few suggestions to people moving long distance: Have them come out for an on site visit to estimate vs. emailing what you THINK you have....you never will remember all the crap you have! EVERY. ITEM. COUNTS. EVERY BOX. Jesus has been in the moving industry for 13 years and could tell quickly we were going to fill their truck, I NEVER would have thought that, but he was right! It was packed full! Also - if I had the money, I would have hired his team to do ALL the packing! They know what theyre doing - even after our 4 recent moves, we get sloppy - the only items that broke this move were the ones WE PACKED...oops. Thanks Jesus! Oh yeah....also, thanks to the owner, Kobi, for being super nice and helpful with payment options! *They take cash, personal check, and credit cards (for 5% processing fee).*

DO NOT USE AMERICA KNIGHT! Moved from Houston to Dallas and I got what I paid for. Instead of paying a little more $ for a reliable moving co. I got the cheapest & thats how they pay you back. #1 agreed start time was 8 am they show up at 1 pm #2 agreed to have 3 men movers but only 2 show up #3 I expected a empty truck to fit all our possions & boxes. Truck was already full! #4 Could not fit our stuff in truck so we had to leave with out it (thank goodness we own the condo) but was delay on listing property. #5 The head mover want to deliver the next day (Sat) since it was getting late & he already drove his alotted time something to do with state regulations. I HAD to call Jennifer at the mover co. I told her to get my husband & I a hotel room or move us as agreed upon. She called the head mover and after that conversation he wasnt very pleasant #6 Arrive in Dallas & started unpacking late! Movers left around 1:30 am Saturday morning. #7 Received the left items the next week and they still forgotten stuff that was in downstairs (outside closet) that took another week. #8 MISSING a box & heavy GLASS for my round table. #9 SENT MISSING ITEMS LIST CERTIFIED MAIL/RETURN RECEIPT & AMERICAN MOVER REFUSED TO SIGN! #10 American Movers never made it right. We never got reimburse or missing items. That is not the AMERICAN way of doing business. You cannot keep customers if you lie to them, dont delivery on time and cheat them out of their belonging. I cant fight them but my God will make it right. Amen and Amen.

I was looking for a reliable and fairly priced moving company for my move from Hosuton to Los Angeles. I made the mistake of putting my name and number online for quotes. Dont make the same mistake I did. My phone would not stop ringing! A lot of the companies that called me did not offer in Home Estimates I decided to Get only In home estimates for better accuracy and Got Bekins, Allied and American Knights to come out . Im so glad I went with American Knights. From the start, Josh and Kobe were simply amazing. They was always available whenever I called. Customer service was 5 stars---hands down! Moving day arrived and the crew was on time and super professional. They helped pack and disassemble all the heavy furniture, computers/flat screens, etc. I was impressed with the level of care and attention they had with my stuff. They secured it very well with blankets and shrink wrap. Delivery was made within the window given. I would have wished it arrived in the earlier part of the window, but it did arrive none the less, 3 days before the end of the window given. All of my stuff arrived unharmed--including my computer and 2 very big flat screen Tvs. My night stand was the only one piece of furniture with a dent/scratch---but thats to be expected with such a long distance move. I am very happy with American knights. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a great company to move your belongings. No hidden fees either. Ask for Kobe!
