The quote to duplicate my Toyota Camry smart key was $145 less than that of another highly rated locksmith, and much, much less than a dealer would charge. When I got to the shop I saw a list of prices and the car keys seemed to be on special, so this may have been more of a bargain than usual. But it was a very good price. Mr. Vidal was extremely nice and professional to deal with. He duplicated my smart key quickly, I would say in 10 minutes or probably less. Somehow I had been under the impression that this took a long time, but not with the modern computer equipment at Howard Safe & Lock. I am pleased to have a new backup key that didnt cost an arm and a leg.

This is the ONLY locksmith in Houston who had the locks I wanted. They answered all my questions and stayed in contact with me. I had 2 special requests and they knocked it out of the park. I couldnt be happier with the result. They had everything ordered and installed in a timely manner. I was really shocked and HAPPY that they cleaned up any and all messes they made while changing out my locks. Ive already referred them to some friends and family who were thinking of changing their locks out. I will definitely use them again.

Broke my only car key off in my trunk at Kroger on Sunday afternoon. Called Howard Safe & Lock out of desperation because the dealership was closed. Howards on-call person Mr. Vidal answered promptly. He arrived within the hour and finally came up with keys that would open my door and start my car. I consider the price I paid reasonable considering it was a Sunday emergency call and Mr. Vidal was certainly more helpful than the dealership would have been.

I have used these guys for years. Always dependable and responsive. This morning, again, I found myself without my car keys after coming home late last night from a business trip. I called Howard Safe and Lock, they were at my house within 5 minutes, opened the car so I could retrieve my spare. They also offered to duplicate my spare. Courteous, responsive and professional.

I searched all afternoon looking for a replacement key for my Jeep. Most of the Big stores ie. Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Autozone didnt have it. And the smaller stores that did have it were extremely over priced. I stopped by Howards and they had it in stock, they were very affordable and extremely friendly. I would recommend them to anyone and plan on using them in the future.

We stopped by on our way to pick up our kids after work looking for a skeleton key for my curio cabinet that I havent been able to get into for over three years. We didnt have a picture of my cabinet and live over 40 miles away. After speaking with Mr. Vidal he went above and beyond to help us out. I used these guys to change the locks on my house after the keys got stolen. They came the next morning and did the job very quickly. The guy then called me back an hour later to tell me he had accidentally overcharged me (maths mistake..) and was refunding the difference asap. Great honesty and service.
