I love this place! Its tree shaded and pleasant, with exotic birds calling greetings when you enter the waiting area. Most important, Chris and his staff are conscientious and honest practitioners. My significant other/partner and I drive vintage vehicles and Chris does a fine job of maintaining and repairing both. At times, there are delays for parts to be shipped which is outside Chriss control, and when the work is done, it is always just right. Chris does an excellent job of telling you what is going on with your vehicle in easy to understand language and he has a gift for getting right to the point quickly and comprehensively. They dont always answer the phone there because they are obviously in the shop working on vehicles or talking to customers, and I am always OK with them taking extra time to do what needs to be done. We have never had to "only deal in cash" there (?). Their prices are fair and they are totally honest and ethical business people. GO CHRIS!!

After reading some of the negative reviews, needed to put in my 2 cents. I was first introduced to Chris Moodley and PCM Auto around 2000. From that point, I’ve serviced most of my vehicles here (I was in/out of Houston due to my job). Apart from having my vehicles serviced, I’ve purchased many vehicles from Chris, all of which were outstanding. Let me tell you an anecdote. Back in 2004, my 1997 Honda Accord had an a/c problem, so took it to a mechanic in Woodlands (where I lived) and they gave me a nice $900 estimate to fix it. I brought the car to PCM, Chris diagnosed a simple $~50 valve that had to be replaced and solved the problem !! Chris is old school. He does not need to plug a computer into the vehicle to diagnose the problem. He relies on his ears and eyes. So, here I am , almost 15 years a faithful customer and friend of Chris and PCM…But why take my word for it…go to his shop and you will see a wall full of thank you cards/notes over the years…

First of all, its not cash only. This is a very honest body shop, my SUVs back door hit on something, and I checked with some highly rated body shops in this area (include a 5 stars body shop), they advised this was not fixable, and the only thing they could do was replacing the rear door, which would be $2000+. PCM AUTO gave me a different a different answer after the estimate, they said yes its fixable and they only charged me $300+. $300+ vs $2000+? are you kidding me? I left my car there and they spent 2 days on fixing it and i think they did a good job. I must put this comments here for their honest.

Worst experience of my life! Car has taken over three weeks to get fixed they got a deposit for my parts and 2 weeks later said they still did not have all my parts to fix my car. They do not work there posted hours they do not answer there telephone they have no customer service the manager is extremely rude and never contacted me to tell me my car would not be ready when he first told me it would be. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE! Im having to report my car as stolen and go there with the police to get my car back these people are crooks

We were referred to PCM last year. Chris is the most honest mechanic that I have ever dealt with over the last 25 years. Chris will not do work that does not need to be done. We have started telling all of our friends and everyone agrees. If its necessary and expensive, nothing you can do... but the difference is if its not a necessary repair as deemed by a dealer or high end shop, Chris will tell you its not necessary. Thousands per visit on expensive foreign cars turn in to more affordable hundreds quickly!

I used to live in the area and PCM was recommended to me about 10 years ago and I continue to use them even though Ive moved about 45 minutes away. The owner, Chris is as honest as the day is long and you can trust him to properly care for your vehicle without charging you for any unnecessary repairs. Ill get an oil change locally, but if there is anything more serious needed - hes the only mechanic Ive found that I trust. I highly recommend PCM Auto.

I went there about 2 weeks back and had issues with a check engine light that i could get fixed at any other place. Chris and his staff were able to isolate the problem and get it fix crazy quick. I was back on the road the next day after putting it into shop even AFTER I brought it in around the end of their day on a friday. I highly recommend using their services as they know their stuff and the price is extremely reasonable.

* * They only deal in cash. * * Note: Thats a big read flag. They took 2 weeks to fix my car that they quoted 3 days. They rarely answered the phone (answered 2 times out of 12). They didnt call to let me know my car would take longer. They dont care about customer service. They marked up the parts 150 to 200%. All that and my car still isnt fixed. I have to take it to another shop.

Im surprised to see the note that they only deal in cash. Ive been using PCM for years, love Chris and his staff, and wouldnt go anywhere else. Yes, they arent always speedy, and you need to follow up, but they do great work at a totally fair price. Ive gone to other shops/dealer, then brought my car to Chris, and hes said "no, that doesnt need to be done". As a woman, I love that!

PCM has worked and fixed my car and my Mothers many times doing an excellent job and always charging less than I would expect...They are completely honest and will not try to do unnecessary work or do anything devious. These are honest folks providing great service! I doubt youll be able to find anyone in Houston that can top these guys...

There is an unplugged wire under my hood. I dont know what it is. I wont ever find out since I am junking my car. STILL, I cant help but wonder if they were ever slightly less careful with my car because they are ardent democrats and I own the official Trump Art Car.

I shoped many dealeships I found the best deal on a Lexus no one even came close to the price I paid PCM..I saved ove 5000 on an 03 IS .. They were very helpful on a lot of details I did not understand.
