wow. where do I start? I took my computer in with a virus. I was called the next day by the technician, named Max. He told me they would need to wipe it out & was there anything special I would like to save? I said yes, there are just 2 things on there that are super important to me. That is my pictures in my Kodak Gallery software & my Itunes music. He says no problem. I get a call a couple days later to say my computer is ready. I get it home & it wont turn on, I have to take it back, Max didnt hook up the hard drive. Really? ok, get it back home the next day. Turn it on...Guess what? You got it. No pictures. No Itunes music. I am devestated. All the pics of my children growing up. My son being born, Birthday parties, Field day, special events. (yes, I know. I should have backed it up before this, but I did ask for these TWO things in particular to be saved.) I call & talk to the asst mgr, Devon. I scream. I cry. Hysterical. I cant believe this has happened. He tells me to bring it back & he will see if he can recover anything and also he will talk to the tech to find out what happened. I bring it in, he does some 72 hr recovery process & tells me in the meantime that YES the tech wrote down on the work order to SAVE ITUNES & KODAK GALLERY!!!!! WTF? The only 2 things I wanted off the computer. GONE! I get it back after the recovery & no picutures could be recovered. Some Itunes songs were recovered, But cant be opened. they are all damaged. I finally told him I wanted my $180 back or we were going to small claims court. He refunded my money, but what lost was worth WAY more than $180. Please. Please. Please DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR COMPUTER!!!! Any place has to be better than them. I still cry everytime I think about what I lost. Absolutely devastating. Take my advise, go somewhere else. I gave it 1 star, only because I HAD to choose one. It deserves ZERO stars.

These people were so gracious with me. I called about wanting to look through a selection of 500W Power Supplies they had and I told them Id be down in a jiffy, but in reality I dawdled a bit before heading to them and by the time I got there they had already closed and locked up! However they saw me holding a power supply and so they knew that it was me they had been talking to on the phone so they reopened the store to let me purchase! Their computers were offline at that point so it had to be in cash but I had enough on me so it was ok. Very nice guys!

Always great service & nice to have a nearby source for more than just basic hardware. And as for data loss issues, before being to hard on a technician, just remember, there are only two kinds of hard drives: Those that have failed, and those that havent failed yet. Back up your data! Redundancy is your friend.
