I hired Texas Move It after talking with Becca (one of the owners). She came across as professional and knowledgable so I did some research on the company (they have generally excellent reviews online and no complaints with the BBB). I was especially intrigued because the price was so much lower than any other Houston area moving company (I hire moving companies frequently for my clients). I was excited about the opportunity to potentially find a lower cost option for my clients however this was a case of you get what you pay for. The moving crew arrived on time and took care with my clients belongings. There were two small issues I tried to reach Becca about early on after the crew arrived but unfortunately it took her approximately 3.5 hours to return my calls. Another issue arose before she called me back and when she did call me back, she and her husband Jack (the other owner) proceeded to yell at me. At one point, Jack called the moving crew and instructed them to lock up the truck and not do any additional work until we had paid them. I had to point out to Jack that he was holding the belongings of a 90 year old veteran before he would instruct his crew to finish the job. It ended up taking a 3 man crew 9.5 hours to load and unload my clients belongings (approximately 950 square feet). The crew told me they had worked until 2 or 3 am the previous night so I wonder what effect that had on them. As I mentioned earlier, the moving crew was careful, wrapped everything and the only damage was a broken desk leg which Becca said they would pay to fix (to just send her the bill once I had it fixed). Ive reached out to Becca twice regarding the broken desk leg and she hasnt responded at all. When the move was complete, Becca did tell me that they would accept whatever my client wanted to pay however my client chose to pay the entire amount because he recognized that the crew had worked hard, had been careful and he didnt want them to be penalized for the bad behavior of the owners of the company. I was extremely disappointed with my experience working with Texas Move It and cannot recommend them. I gave them a 2 rating because the work their crew did was good but the customer service I received from the owners was horrible.

We recently hired Texas Move-It for our move from San Antonio to Houston (3 bedroom house with a full antique dining room suite and included two different stops to pick up furniture). I was a little nervous trying to decide on a moving company because our last experience moving was not a pleasant one. However throughout the whole booking and planning process I felt at ease speaking with one of the owners, Becca. She was very friendly and organized and super responsive. She even called to check in with us several times throughout the move day. Unfortunately, it rained the entire day of our move, but the guys didnt miss a beat. They were such hard workers, they wrapped all furniture to protect everything and not one piece was scratched or damaged. They put down towels & blankets to ensure water & dirt was not tracked in from the weather. It was a long day and they didnt slow down. The price was very reasonable and actually ended up costing less than we expected. Overall it was a great experience moving and I highly recommend using this company, we will definitely be repeat customers.

ן had to cancel with a previously scheduled moving company after reading their online reviews. I only had a few days to find someone to help me load/unload the truck I had rented. I found Texas Move-It on Craiglist; I visited the website and was happy to read all the amazing reviews. I called and left a voice message and within a day Becca got back to me with a very reasonable quote and had no problem working in a last minute move. A day or two before the move, she emailed to confirm the date and time. On the day of the move, the movers showed up on time and ready to go. Becca was very accommodating and explained that the loading & unloading process, the movers themselve were meticulous about packing the truck. They made sure everything would fit in the truck and that nothing would get damaged. Tthe movers drove the truck and I followed in my car. When we arrived everything was still just as he had packed it. The moving crew was very nice, pleasant and fun to hang out with! I would highly recommend Texas Move-It for your moving needs. They are AMAZING!

Top notch service! Each and every employee I was in contact with at Texas Move-It was professional, courteous, and outstanding. Becca, who wrote up the estimate, got back to me quickly when I had questions. Julio and the moving crew was nothing short of impeccable! They were efficient and knowledgeable, very careful with my belongings, and went above and beyond on every possible level. Not only were they a team in the way they worked together, but it was clear that they were on MY team. I was downsizing (I recently retired) but I still kept way too much stuff and, of course, every living space has its own limitations. This crew went above and beyond in every way and helped me think through where best to place everything - in particular those several "special" pieces of furniture that very likely will NOT be moved until the next time you move. Two of my four children were here today and they both agreed that these guys were awesome!

I used J&M for a local move here in Houston from a second-floor apartment to a two-story town home. I was stressed the day of because my husband couldnt take off work and it was just me and the movers. Jack was reassuring and confident. Within minutes of arriving at my apartment, he and his team were busy wrapping furniture and loading boxes. I quickly relaxed as I saw them working efficiently and handling my belongings carefully. The entire move took just four hours, and it was the most enjoyable moving experience Ive ever had. My furniture remained clean and in excellent condition throughout the whole process. Everything was placed in the new house exactly as I wanted it. The team of movers were pleasant and fun to work with. I will definitely use them again and refer them to friends.

These guys were the absolute best! From start to finish they impressed me!! They were professional, very nice, quick and efficient! I moved from a 4 bedroom home to a one bedroom apartment and Jack and his guys made the process so easy. After carefully wrapping everything and loading it into the truck we went from my house to my storage unit where they miraculously made everything fit perfectly. Then they came to my apartment to unload the remaining items. Jack even offered to come back a later day to help me get things out of my attic that were not ready to be moved that same day that I scheduled the move. Talk about customer service! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for quality movers at a great price!! Next move I am definitely calling Texas Move it!

We had this company to move us on yesterday due to our home flooding from Harvey. The crew of two that came worked as slow as possible because we paid them by the hour. We are flood survivors but this company try to take what was left. The movers broke our headboard because it was not packed properly on the truck. They broke our fireplace heater tv stand because the person moving it did not lift it correctly. When we called to report it the owner said because it was particle board it should not have been moved. All of the furniture was not particle board and if it was the movers should have mentioned that before placing it on the truck. Please beware of this company. Their customers service is not the best neither is the work ethics of their movers.
