DO NOT hesitate to get your car repairs done here! In the last three or four years Ive had to have fairly major (and one really strange repair - but more on that in a minute) done on my Jeep. Every single time, Christian Brothers has been fair, honest and done an outstanding job. For example, one time, I had to have my air conditioner line replaced. I picked it up late on a Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend. On the way home, I went to spray/clean my windshield - nothing happened. It didnt take long to realize that something didnt get put back together right under the hood. I called Christian Brothers. When the owner picked up, I explained my situation and he immediately said to bring it back and they would wait for me and fix it. Problem was that that they are in Irving, but by this time I was flying through Plano on my way out of town. The owner briefly put me on hold and got the mechanic that worked on my car on the phone. This poor soul tried to walk me through the simple task of hooking back up the waterline for my wipers. Not a big deal, but unfortunately I was on the side of the road with a cell phone balanced between my shoulder and ear as I twisted my neck up into the engine looking for a waterline that had slipped just out of immediate visual site. No problem. The owner - again, at the end of the day on a holiday weekend - had the mechanic drive to me and fix a very simple waterline. The mechanic was very happy to do it and didnt laugh in my face when it was clear how easily I could have fixed it. He just thanked me for my business and wished me a good weekend. Then there was the really strange repair. So, my passenger-side floorboard filled up with water. I stupidly wasted my time, energy and money on taking my Jeep to other places trying to figure out the problem. There were lots of theories and speculation, but no one could really figure it out. Then I took it to Christian Brothers. What started out as a somewhat challenging repair turned into a Pandoras Box. Long story short, it took a good many more hours than quoted as well as people to get to the root of the problem. But, they figured it out when no one else could. It turned out to be a weird design flaw within the door that was connected to a non-draining reservoir that served no purpose in the door/window. It eventually took several people and way more hours than estimated. Also, the mechanics and owner stayed TWO HOURS PAST WHEN THEY CLOSED to figure out and fix the problem. Despite this, the owner didnt feel right about charging me more than he had estimated. He refused to take more than he had estimated for what he thought was a fairly simple job despite my repeated protests. This is the most honest auto repair shop you will ever go to. And, they are as kind and pleasant as they can be. Just a note of caution, not all Christian Brothers are the same. They are franchised and, while there are standards, they are ultimately individually owned. Ive had experiences with other locations and it was OK, but I didnt feel as if I was in as good of hands as the Valley Ranch, Coppell location. And, it is disappointing that they are not open on Saturday. I understand time with family, but people work and cannot always get things done on a businesss time frame. Bottom line is what I said at the beginning - DO NOT HESITATE TO GET CAR REPAIRS DONE HERE!

My warranty is up with Toyota of Lewisville. Unhappy with service from them & having positive experience with Christian Brothers in the past with my former car, I dropped my car off for an assessment of what needed to be done. (Toyota has a schedule of what needs to be done but when they pushed this my last visit, they never offered to not sell the whole package if something didnt need to be done.) Johnson helped me & was very professional & courteous. He called a couple hours later to review their recommendations (which was much less than what Toyota would have recommended). He mentioned alignment & I noted that didnt need to be done as Toyota would do that free of charge since I purchased the tire set there. That was misunderstood because when I went to get my car, the alignment had been done. I explained the apparent misunderstanding to Johnson who readily corrected it & said, "we just want to make sure youre happy." [How often do you hear that?!] He cracked a joke when I left, so I left not only with savings but with a smile. These guys are great & the fact they arent afraid to be associated with the Christian faith is refreshing.

Everyone seemed really friendly. Went in for a diagnosis on my rattle issues. Was told on phone it was free unless they couldnt figure it out and needed to take things apart. I dont think they do free - was charged but was never called before it turned into a paid visit (dealership diagnosis was quoted at $50 and I paid I think $65 here). Super disappointed in how my car was driven. The tech drove the car harder than I ever do/have. When I reviewed the dash cam video it was really upsetting. Passing speed limit signs going 10+ mph over and accelerating hard from stoplights (you can hear the car in the videos which under normal driving you really cant.. even with my exhaust). There wasnt a need to drive the car this hard when my issue was rattling at low speeds. It was a little weird that they didnt ask if I wanted to schedule some of the $1700 estimate they had provided (parts had to be ordered). I guess Im glad they didnt because it gave me a chance to see how they treat peoples property.

Auto repair is something that requires a lot of trust. I got burnt so many times before from many garages that I am very cautious when it comes to choosing a place to entrust my car with. I went to this place after reading overall good reviews here on Google. I am glad I found this place. They were friendly and professional. All the up-front charges were explained, and they got to my car quicker than I expected. My driver side window was not going all the way down, and they found a piece of protective foam stuck at the bottom of the door panel. No unnecessary part was forced to be replaced, just an hour of labor charge for pulling the door panel apart. I also asked them to fix my bent key, and they spent good 10 min. to straighten the key without charging me for it. (took so long because it had to be perfectly straight to go back into the ignition slot) I would definitely recommend this place.

BEST REPAIR SHOP EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have used other Christian Brothers in the past, but by far Christian Brothers in Valley Ranch is the best. The owner Michael always knows my name, as well as all the service advisors Clay and Chad. I have had several repairs in the past two years and each time they go above and beyond to assist me. Recently I had to have a part replaced for the second time and even though it was out of warranty by about 6 months they covered it under warranty, saving me about $200 dollars. They also covered another service for me that cost about $200 dollars, only because I had been complaning about the same problem for about 2 years and they could never figure out what was wrong. I recommend everyone I can to these place, they are AWESOME!!!! You cant beat the customer service at this location, it is OUTSTANDING!!!! I highly recommend them, you wont be disappointed.
