People, seriously, do NOT get fooled by the "friendliness" of the staff!!! Thats their way into scamming you for SO MUCH MORE MONEY. I am beyond disgusted with this place. Heres my story. I moved here from Buffalo, NY about three months ago and eventually realized had to get my brakes done because of rust and wouldnt have been able to register my car in Texas without passing the inspection. These people gave me an estimate of close to $1000!!!!! just to get my brakes done!! Thats 1/5th the price I got the car for!!! I ended up taking it somewhere else where I got my brakes and the inspection done for $300!!!! That was my first experience. My second experience I went in (theyre right across my apartment so its convenient) to get one of my headlights fixed. Their estimate was $63 for labor and the light. I got it done somewhere else 10 minutes later with no hassle for $21. This place is owned by crooks and once they see you dont wanna pay a certain amount theyll attempt to lure you to the now magically appeared cheaper options in their system or theyll try and trick you into getting the deal financed. Do your research people and I guarantee you whatever your problem is youll get it fixed for much cheaper somewhere else.

I took our Honda Pilot into the dealership to get our 100k maintenance done. Honda quoted me around $2,100 for alignment, brake fluid flush, power steering fluid flush, rear brakes, timing belt replacement and a couple of other items. I called around and came to Brakes Plus where I spoke with Sean. He quoted me on brakes and then mentioned that they worked on more than just brakes. After giving him the list of items I needed done, he came in around $800 cheaper than the Honda dealership. I was completely expecting to find someone who could do the work cheaper than Honda, but didnt realize Id find one place to do it all and for a substantial amount cheaper! Sean told me if I brought it in then, hed have it all done by end of day. I was somewhat skeptical, but took him up on the offer. I dropped it off round 10a and he had it finished by 5:45p. Will definitely be back for future maintenance and tune ups! Thanks Sean!

Really disappointed. Came in expecting a regular brake service, but was given the Ultra-Premium (read: Highest Priced) brake service without being told that was what I was being offered. The way they trick you into it is by telling you that the cost of the brake service is $89 (which is what they point to on the estimate), but they dont point to the $60 labor charge to make it the obvious $149 (which is what you see on the giant board in front of you. All of this comes down to a serious need to clarify exactly what is being offered to you. I thought I was being offered the basic brake package, and ended up paying more than I wanted to. Beyond this, the guys are really nice. They were courteous and fast, and my only disappointment (unfortunately a very large one) was in this pricing confusion.

I took my car in this morning because the brakes were starting to have a constant grind (it literally went from an infrequent squeaking to a grinding over the matter of one weekend). Brian was very friendly and helpful and stated they would do a complimentary brake inspection to diagnose the car. After completing the inspection, he called back and gave me a thorough breakdown of everything; a complete (front and back) brake job was needed and it was more expensive than I had hoped for. Brian then worked with me and figured out a way for it to be more affordable and get the car fixed in a satisfactory way. I wish more folks were as understanding and helpful as this companys staff has been to me. I look forward to taking our cars there for any service that we will need.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Joshua, the GM of the shop, is just about the kindest, most dedicated and helpful employee of any merchant Ive ever been a patron of. Not only did he counsel me of when the best time was to take my van in for new shocks & struts to save the most money, he personally shuttled me home the morning of, AND delivered my van back to me at home (after hours, mind you) so that I wouldnt be without car seats for my two sons (one of which is special needs.) You have no idea how much that meant to me!! Any company should feel lucky to have employees as absolutely incredible as Joshua and the team at Brakes Plus in Little Elm. Will certainly use them again and again!

The team at the Brakes Plus off FM423 have always been fair and honest. Weve brought 5 vehicles to them over the last 3 years and they do great, fast work. Not only that, they usually match or beat anyone else on price and wont try to sell you a bunch of unnecessary work or products. I even had a dispute on one price item, and they legitimately worked with me to resolve the issue in a fair way. They really care about their customers and provide great service. I highly recommend them and use them for all our vehicle maintenance, repairs, service on brakes, and brake/brake pad replacements. Ask for Shawn, hes very helpful and fair.

I took my car here the other day because I was having some brake noise. I left the car and about an hour and a half later got a phone call that they did a full inspection and that the brakes look fine, and likely Im hearing some dirt from all the construction that got in there are was rubbing. These guys could have absolutely done a full brake job on the car and told me it was necessary and I would have paid not knowing the difference. I have no doubt that there are a lot of places that would have done that. I appreciated the honesty and when it does come time for brakes, these guys have earned my business.

Im Justin. Ive had my misfortunes over this last year and am just now getting back on my feet. My Jeep was in pretty bad shape. The Gentlemen here are very informative and helpful. They didnt just tell me what needed fixing, like other places. They took the time to show me the problem and discuss various options. The fact that they are honest, open, compassionate, and they worked with me. That makes me a customer for life! Bring your vehicle to brakes plus in little elm if you want people who care, listen and do an amazing job!!! Thanks guys. Youll be seeing my jeep again. LoL

They installed my new rear wiper arm onto my new body style Tahoe on thursday ($60 for full rear arm with wiper at the GM Dealer) until today it rained, so had to use my rear wiper & just by looking at the rear i couldnt see that if its functioning. until i stopped at the gas station to see if theres anything blocking my wiper & just by looking & hearing the arm, it made a strange squeeking noises as if wanting to wipe but it wouldnt, since it was tightend too much that a piece of the wiper arm broke off on its 1st use. Not recommending the place sorry guys..

We have had good experience with Brakes Plus on several occasions, and especially at the Little Elm, Texas location. The thing that I like best is that they are honest and upfront and there is no surprises when paying the bill, and that is rare today. Shawn does a great job in explaining the different options and does not try and up-sell in doing so. They are friendly and always ready to serve the customer. The owner of this store should be proud of the team that is at this location.
