I wish I could rate 0 stars. I have brought 2 cars here on 3 occasions and have gotten my car back with more problems than it had going in. Ill try to give a brief description of each time. 1. Mercedes C240- Brought this car in with a flooded engine. They took the engine apart and cleaned it out (Cant remember at least $500. Within a week of picking the car up, I was getting a low oil level light. So I filled my oil back to an appropriate level. Days later, I got the same message. I brought my car in only to find out the engine was somehow burning the oil and the engine had been ruined. It would have cost $6000 to repair so I had no choice but to get rid of it and buy another car. 2. Ford Explorer. I brought this car in with starter problems. They claimed my coolant was leaking onto it and shorted it and convinced me to repair the coolant housing. Fortunately the starter was still under warranty so I did not have to buy that. Within 2 weeks my car would not start again. 3. Ford Explorer. I brought my car in again and they told me I had a bad connection to my battery, which I know for a fact was not bad when I took it in the first time (my dad also confirmed this as he checked out my car before taking it in the first time). I had them replace that and got my car back with the temperature gauge not working, which they said wasnt before I brought it in (false). Within another 2 weeks my car would not start again. This time I self-diagnosed a bad alternator (which I have never had problems with before) and replaced it myself and now the car runs fine. --In short, I am 100% convinced either the company or one or more of the mechanics are involved in intentionally messing up parts on my car so I would have to bring it in more. After spending thousands of dollars here, I did not have a working vehicle, which I was able to fix myself for a few hundred. I HIGHLY recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else, as you will get nothing but disappointment and dishonest work here. Had this happened only once or twice I can understand a bad car, but 3 times withing 3 years (the last 2 within a month) is completely unacceptable. TL:DR- Take your car absolutely anywhere else. these people are crooks

I have taken both my Jeep Wrangler and my wifes Mazda CX7. The goods: Nice people with good customer service for the most part. They utilize a text system to keep one abreast of the status of the vehicles repair The bad: Took in my Jeep for an issue with an electrical junction box. It had been knocked loose by a foreign object on the road. I was explicit about this the first time I took it in. They put the same one back and replaced a sensor. A month later I had to once again take in for the same issue as the junction box had been completely ripped off this time. They assured me that they were going to do everything within their power to make sure the new box stayed in its place. A month and half later, the junction box came completely loose once again and so I called them and they, in so many words, accused me of driving my Jeep recklessly to the point where the junction box was coming off. I told them that if they are the "experts" they would realize that my jeep has never been taken off roading, unless you consider the Dallas giant potholes off roading. They finally complied and replaced the junction box but said it would be the last time. Guess what, a week after coming home with it, the check engine light is on as well as the gas cap light which were both part of the original problem. Needless to say, I will not be bringing my business to this Christian Brothers location ever again. There are way to many options in the Frisco area to receive inept service from a local vendor.

Last week I was at the car wash on 423 when my window regulator broke. Fortunately I was right next door to Christian Brothers, my usual mechanic. I grumbled to Christian Brothers front office guy that I was frustrated because that was literally the day I was putting my van up for sale--and thus getting it detailed at the car wash. Apparently he casually mentioned me to another employee at Christian Brothers who later when I picked up the van approached me to ask for details about it. The next night I had a whole 3-generation family on my doorstep with cash in hand to buy the van. HERES THE BACK STORY: The day my window broke that familys grandmother had also brought her van in for repair. Unfortunately their van was one too many repairs past recovery so she was now completely without transportation. Minutes later I happened to walk in with a van for sale that the Christian Brothers employee knew everything about (having done work on it for a few years). Because he was watching out for that family, he got my permission to give them my contact info. That grandma now owns my van. How many vendors do you work with who not only fix your immediate needs but also look out for you in the big picture sense? He had plenty to do that day but chose to add to his "to do" list helping a grandma he knew only as a customer solve a problem he was uniquely qualified--but no one expected him--to solve.

What an awesome experience!!! Everyone I spoke with was so welcoming, polite, professional, and competent. Im usually a bit skeptical about auto repair shops; however, John explained everything that they would do (initially to determine what the problem was with my vehicle) and then thoroughly explained what needed to be done right away so my truck would run and be safe. He also shared with me what things would need to be done in the future. I am a visual learner, so one thing that I was most impressed with (and truly appreciated) is that he showed me an animated picture on the computer of exactly what was broken on the truck and the impact it had on my driving and the safety of the vehicle. There was never a time when I felt pressured to have something done that wasnt needed. John, Jonita (the owner), and a mechanic (I dont recall his name), answered every question I had thoroughly and truly made me feel that they cared and wanted me to be happy with their service (which I am). John even called the next day to follow-up to make sure everything was still good with my truck. I HIGHLY recommend Christian Brothers Frisco West and have encouraged my neighbors & friends to take their vehicle there. If/when Im in need of auto service/repair again, I will definitely return.

My elderly-Christian mother, living on a fixed income (social security), was taken advantage of by a company she thought would be honest and ethical as they imply a "Christian" way of doing business. Her vehicle had sever engine damage and it would need to be replaced with a salvage or new engine. The mechanic assigned to the job, improperly diagnoised the problem and indicated the vehicle could be repaired by replacing spark plugs, spark plug wires and cleaning fuel injectors for a price of $768.00. However, this did not fix the problem as none of these repairs had anything to do with the blown engine. He later informed us of the engine damage and cost to repair the vehicle. My mother elected not to repair the 8 year old vehicle. We asked that the bill be reduced by 50% as other than diagnostics totalling $200.00, the work performed was not warranted. They initially refused to adjust the bill and then after elevating the issue to the owner, she agreed to lower the bill by only $124.00. We voiced our displeasure in the decision but our hands were tied. We all learned a valuable lesson from this experience in that putting "Christian" in the name of your business doesnt guarantee that you will be taken care of in a godly manner. Shame on you "Christian Brothers" !!
