It took FOREVER to just diagnose our brake issues. The tech had finished his assessment long before it was presented to us and when one gentleman tried to show us, another came in and yelled at him (which wasnt the first time he had done that during our visit)...they blamed the delay on lunch breaks, which I understand, but that didnt really appear to be the case (it was more so that they were looking for other problems to upsell us on but call it a full inspection, even though we only wanted our brakes checked) and if it were, give us a heads up instead of telling us youd get us a quote right away. We went elsewhere for the repair not because of the cost (which we did think was high), but because of the outright rudeness of the staff to one another and their complete disregard for the fact that customers were standing there to watch it all. We have also been to this location with a coupon for an oil change and we ended up paying more WITH the discount than we ever have WITHOUT a coupon elsewhere...and we thought it was misapplied, but they insisted it was correct. My husband didnt want to go to Firestone because of past experiences at this location, but I thought lets at least see what they say...I shouldve listened to him. Im embarrassed for some of their staff having to tolerate the cranky guy yelling at them like that for no major reason, which was clearly upsetting to them. Ill never return.

I went in with 2 flat tires and I was getting ready to pay big bucks to get them fixed/replaced but these guys managed to get me some discounts so that I paid very little (the tires I was replacing had been bought at Firestone a little more than a year ago). So, they replaced 1 tire and put a patch on the other. Well I wake up the next day and the tire they patched was flat again.....needless to say, I was not too happy. I went back and the manager, Mike Crowhurst, calmly told me hes get my car right back and fixed, meanwhile Im thinking, "yeah, right!" Lo and behold they got my car back and fixed immediately. Due to the inconvenience -and a warranty I had but didn’t understand- the manager replaced the tire at no additional charge! That meant a lot to me because it is not often that these big companies are willing to lose money to make a customer happy. I thought for sure these guys were going to tell me there was something else wrong with my car so they could get me to pay more but they never did. In fact, I left with paying less instead of more! Don’t get me wrong, you’re going to be waiting a while for your car but I think that is pretty standard anytime you get work done. I would highly recommend this place because I feel like I can trust these guys and that means a LOT to me when you are talking about my car!

I dont know if this is true for people live in colony TX, but I live in Austin and happened to change my oil here and had the worst experience. I usually change engine oil myself, but that day we were travelling and my Prius was due for an oil change. I used $20 for a synthetic blend oil change. For all the scheduling problems apart did they do a good job? nope. After 2 months I just took the oil dip stick out, the dip stick hardly have any oil touching it. Immediately I tried to change the oil, I noticed the oil drain nut was way too tight they may have over tightened it or more likely scenario they may have used a suction oil drain technique. Any way I removed the drain nut with a longer spanner (Archimedes Lever), barely a quart of thick black oil came out. Need I say more. Luckly mine is a Prius so engine didnt blow up with low oil. So, should I consider the possibility of a oil leak in my engine before writing this review. Yes, I did, I waited 2 months before writing this review to make sure I dont blindly complain that may put someones job at stake. For shame Firestone, for shame, It would have been merciful if you had just left the vehicle as it was and charge me for the oil change, rather draining the oil and charging me for ruining my own car.

Great customer service! Wasnt pressured into buying anything extra that I knew I didnt already need. They were able to get my tire fixed, and oil changed the same day I called to make an appointment. Very friendly staff. Great service!!! UPDATE:The customer service here is impeccable! This is my second visit here since I moved to The Colony. On this particular visit, I may have been a "difficult customer". I had a decent amount of requests, as Im very particular about my vehicles. I worked with several different associates, and each of them made me feel like my requests were "no big deal". This is the epitome of customer service at its best! I worked with a manager "Casey" as well. She was wonderful, and probably spent the most time with me. The customer service was so great that Im coming to this location next week with my other car, and my friends car to get the lifetime alignment on both as well as oil changes. The customer service here is what distinguishes it from anywhere else, including other Firestone locations.

I have been going here for years. I had a slow leak in one of my back tires. I took the tire off on Sunday and put the spare tire on. My wife took the tire on Monday at 7am on her way to work. She said the guy was very nice and told her that I could come by in the afternoon and they would put it on right away, wouldnt take a few minutes. I know these places are busy... I went by at 2:45 and I had a chubby guy with black hair. He was so busy cracking jokes about himself and I, he forgot all about customer service!! He told me they could work me in and it would take around 1 hr. I said, I am not waiting an hour for you to put 1 damn tire on thats already been fixed. He said okay, Ill get it for you and you can put it on yourself if you want. That is what I did. I told my wife what happened, she said that guy that opened the store would be furious if he knew that afternoon guy told me all of that. Well, unfortunately they are the ones that have my brand of tire. I will be back someday I guess.

Great spot if you are looking for casual sexual encounters. We had a slow leak in one of the tires. The replacement we needed wasnt in stock and had to be ordered. Instead of patching the tire they just aired it up. Mike text my wife to make sure she was coming in but the tire went flat overnight. He must have found her very attractive and even referred to her as a "Hot Mama!!!" After being nice enough to come to our home to fill up the tire so it could be driven back to Firestone for the two new tires. Install went well. Afterwards Mike made sure to follow up with my wife with this text, "HaHa... Im sure you could ALWAYS find a reason to need me if you used your imagination." And, "Ill look forward to hearing from you again... (To clarify, you dont need a reason to chat either... Just saying)" So if you need tires, or you are just looking for Mike to make really, really inapproriate advances on your beautiful wife the Firestone in The Colony is the place to go.
