I have been going here for the last year and I spend a lot of money every month on my dry cleaning. Today I went to put on my pants for work and noticed my button was just dangling by a thread, I just bought these pants the month before and had only wore them 1 time and just picked them up from the dry cleaners a few days prior. This is the second pair of pants that this has happened to at Threads! The first time they convinced me that the pants were already weak and the button was already coming loose, this time I the area was completely ripped and the pants were basically new so I knew it was accident. When I brought them up there the lady working apologized, went to the back and when she came out she said they could repair them...wonderful, I wasnt looking to have them buy me a new pair, even though they ripped them, however the next words out of her mouth was, "that will be $5"? I said excuse me, why am I paying for something that you guys damaged? We didnt damage it she said, it was already like that when you brought it in she said. So $5 is nothing but Im not paying anything for something that I didnt cause! The manager, William, came out and asked how he could help, I explained the entire thing again and he said yes we can help but it will be $5. I spend around $150/month here and you want to charge me $5 for something you caused? His response was simply, we didnt cause this, it must have already been damaged...Bottom line is I will never return and the sad thing is the owner comes to my place of business and recommend his. I even keep some of their business cards here, but those are going in the trash now! Thanks Threads, you really know how to treat your loyal customers!

I recently relocated to the area and tried many of the dry cleaning locations in my area. I always thought that Threads was a little higher than other cleaners and all cleaners were the same. I finally decided to give them a try with some garments that I took to other cleaners in the area that was not able to properly clean and remove stains. I spoke with the General Manager and he explained the difference in their process and prices because they actually take the time to make sure that all stains and proper cleaning techniques are applied to garments. Threads were able to remove all the stains from my garments and some of the other garments were returned looking like the day that I bought them. I also like that they offer a pick-up and delivery service that works for me since I work long hours and them dropping off my clothes while someone is at home has won me over. I was more surprised that the only restriction was a minimum order amount. My old cleaners in North Dallas would charge me about 40 percent more for pickup and delivery.

I was talking with a few friends about needing a good dry cleaner and they recommended Threads in Mansfield which was a few blocks away from my home. Her husband works in law enforcement and said they truly like the quality of cleaning and support of offer to the law enforcement community. I read many of the reviews and normally do not post any reviews myself. I decided to go into their location and try them after seeing that many of the people that reviewed them only posted negative items when looking at their other post of establishments. I also found it interesting that some people said they have used them many times but only posted a review when it was negative and nothing positive. I took in a few of my families items to try them out after meeting the staff and visiting their location. I never thought there was a difference in dry cleaning services until my husband mentioned the improvement of cleaning and pressing quality of his garments. I told him that I tried a new place in town and his reply was stay with them.

This is absolute worst company I have dealt with in quite sometime. I took in some brand new curtains to specifically be pressed only and when I picked them up, they had been dry cleaned and not pressed at all. They shrunk my curtains by about 4-5". When I took them back, they assured me they could stretch them and would also press them. The 2nd time I picked them up and went home to put up, I found that whomever folded them to hang wadded the middles up so they were wrinkled even worse AND there were now RUST stains on my white curtains - and no, they did not stretch them back out. I have now taken them in once more to ask for refund for what I paid for services not completed correctly and a refund on what I spent on these curtains I now cannot use. I have been given the run-a-around by management telling me my information has been passed to the GM, but I have yet to receive a simple call back or response to my email from said GM. AND I just got hung up on to boot! DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY NEED!

I have been using this particular cleaners since it opened , and the quality and customer service has gone done every year. But why I will never use them again is the fact over the years I have never had a issue with actual damaged clothes , well took a pair of white shorts in that I just purchased and used 1 time when it was time to wear again I noticed there were several tears and rips in them , mind you they still had plastic on from the last time I had them cleaned. So I stopped in to bring it to their attention and the manager was suppose to call back. No word from him so I called and left a message....after calling again I was told they couldnt have been responsible for damage. The thing is its not about the 30-35 spent on shorts it was the way it was handled , so if your ok with losing a long time customer then I will oblige them. As well as steering any family or friends away from this business. Thank you

Do not use for alterations. I was told my items would be done on Tuesday, then Friday, then Saturday by 10. When the items were not done again on Saturday, I was told a manager would be calling me asap. That call never happened. Ridiculous. Go to A-1 cleaners down the street instead! I got an email with no explanation or apology. I was told they called and left voicemail, which I did not receive. I asked for three dresses to be hemmed to the same length. One is clearly two inches shorter than the others to the point it will need to be replaced. The attitude toward customers as you can see from the response to my review and others is not one of pleasing the customer. I will not remove this review as it is factual in nature, and potential customers should be aware so they do not go through what I did. My order was NOT complete by 10 since pick up was attempted at 10:49, and the items were not available.
