They came out to fix an emergency bath leak (water was gushing out) in the house we recently bought. Interestingly, the previous homeowners had the parts. The plumbers put the parts on happily never telling us that that this means no warranty. A few days later, we had issues with the faucet and they came out and replaced the faucet. They said there was not a warranty because we provided the parts when we called but then waived the fee because they did not tell us that. A week later, the faucet started dripping then steadily got worst. We called to set up an appointment. We were told we would have to pay again because they were not their parts and that the second trip out should of been at charge because their receipt says No Warranty. He was able to diagnose this third issue without seeing it, (could be their parts or their work or the piece that was provided). They only stand by their parts, not their work. I feel that it is poor customer service to not present the potential challenges of using the parts that were there.

I had two problems when I finally called Aramendia Plumbing, Heating and Air 1. I had a serious clog in a bathroom sink upstairs that I couldnt break through for the life of me. 2. The clothes dryer had not been drying our clothes properly for quite some time and I was beginning to think I would need to buy a new one. I mentioned this to the plumber while he was there and he snaked the exhaust pipe to see if that would help. Now, our dryer works as good as it did when we first bought the house. I never thought the pipe would get so clogged with lint. The plumber who came to our home made short work of both clogged pipes and he was extremely courteous and friendly. And we didnt get ripped off by hidden fees or unnecessary work. Im not the most active reviewer on the web, but I always like to give credit where credit is due and this is definitely one of those instances. I will recommend Aramendia to my friends and family and I will call them the next time I need their services.

My hall bath tub was draining slowly so I decided to fix it myself. I couldnt get to the clog with the snake so I tried to plunge it out. Plunging didnt do anything to the clog but it did wedge the stopper in the pipe behind the tub. I had a half filled the tub that wouldnt drain and a stopper I couldnt open or close. I called Aramendia and they sent Jeffrey and Tommy. Jeffrey ran the snake about 30 feet pushing the clog to the sewer and started working on my wedged stopper. I began to get worried when I saw how hard he was having to pull and still nothing was happening with the stopper. I thought they might have to open the wall to get to it, but after about 15 minutes he got the entire assembly out. He installed a new stopper and cover plate with the same finish and it was done. I am really pleased with the work, the price, and the guys they sent out.

We just had a major plumbing issue during the worst time of year (Christmas). We had sewage backing up from the mainline of the house, and had one plumber come out who tried to auger it and was unable to fix it. He said at that point it was the citys problem. We needed to provide proof so ended up calling Aramendia to scope the line for us. Jeffrey Baty from Aramendia showed up and was professional and an obvious expert. He scoped the line and found where the problem was located but couldnt actually tell what was causing the problem. So, he went above and beyond and performed his own auger attempt and was then able to remove all of the blockage (tree roots). That extra attempt saved us a lot of money and our Christmas! I highly recommend Aramendia and specifically Jeffrey Baty from that company.

Carlos came by on the same day that I called. I was concerned for my family because my carbon monoxide detector had gone off intermittently in the past few days. Carlos was extremely respectful of my house and leaving all lights, doors, thermostats, etc the way they were when he arrived. He immediately got to work running all items that might be the culprit and did a careful walkthrough with his detector. He even used his phone to look up my chimney. In the end it turned out that the detection device itself was faulty and needed to be replaced and there was no carbon monoxide present. HE DIDNT EVEN CHARGE ME. And now I can sleep well at night knowing my family is safe. If I ever have any AC, plumbing, or heating issues going forward I am calling them!

When they give you a quote, make sure EVERYTHING he tells you is listed. Be aware that they will charge you for a permit, when required, but not get it. Also be aware of them wanting to charge you $75 to pick up your order "to make sure its the right thing", then actually picking it up without checking it out, then coming back and hacking the heck out of your wall and tile floor to install a shower that was 2" to wide. Then just try to get a refund, because Ive been trying for over a year, calling once a month. Now they claim they issued a refund to my credit card a year ago, but when I provide them with a copy showing no credit, they continue to claim they issued it, but wont substantiate it. Good thing I took pictures!

Had a 19 gallon water heater go out at my business. Contacted Aramendia for a quote to fix or replace the unit. It was under warranty, so that wouldnt cost anything. The problem was they quoted $1250 in labor charges, which seemed extreme to me. I contacted a few other contractors and found out that it was. I ended up only paying $280 to Jeff Hackett H.C.P. Inc. Im very happy that I checked a couple different contractors and found one not trying to gouge me on labor costs. The other contractors were disappointed to hear about the excessive labor estimate, since it just gives the general public a bad outlook on the industry. I will use Hackett Plumbing anytime I have an issue with any plumbing at my business or my home.

Waste of time. Scheduled first appointment, and they canceled it. That appointment was on the calendar for a week. We rescheduled to the next day because I was bumped. Oh wait, no we didnt! They didnt place me in the next days appointments at all! They never offered to, either! They offered a new appointment for 2 days later, from 3p to 5p. Of course, they were on time, ummmm, wait. No! They called and gave me the same excuse they used 2 days earlier! The last job was running long and they couldnt make it. I told them there was no need to reschedule, because I wouldnt ever be using their services. Poor management. Poor plumbing skills if they cant estimate jobs. Stay away.

I was selling my house and needed my heating repaired quickly, so Aramendia came out within a few hours of my call. The man who came to fix it, Carlos, was extremely polite and very helpful. He was able to explain to me the issue with my heating, and was very familiar with my unit. He then showed me what the problems were and broke everything down in terms that I could understand. He gave me an excellent price and even gave me a couple parts for free! They are trustworthy, hardworking, and prompt with calls as well as repairs. If you need work done on your heating or cooling units, I highly recommend you call them.
