I had my first hair appointment with Shonda yesterday. Because of recent, unsatisfactory experiences with a couple of stylists, I was a little unsure what to expect and not sure Id made the right decision despite all of the outstanding reviews. Im glad I took the plunge, however, because I walked out a total believer! Shonda is one of the warmest, most genuine people Ive ever met! Moreover, shes been in the beauty industry for 20+ years and have a wealth of knowledge which she took the time to share with me as we discussed my services and what would be best to achieve the results I was seeking. I also loved that she cared very much about my hair, but showed just as much, or perhaps, even more care for me as an individual. She really took the time to listen to me and my concerns which really meant a great deal to me. Needless to say, I left VERY satisfied with the total experience and my hair and am looking forward to me next appointment!

I found Shonda over at Anointed Hands last year 2013 around the summer and from the very first visit, she was very knowledgeable and attentive about schooling me about my hair and the steps I needed to take in getting it back to a healthy state. After a sew in at the time, my hair was very damaged. Since going to her and getting my hair relaxed and treated, my hair has become thicker and and stronger and full of life. I found her just by Googling hair stylists and Im glad I found her. She really does a great job on hair and I think anyone would be very satisfied with the results.

Shonda is one great stylist. She is all about healthy hair and will give you insight on what would be best for you and your hair. What will get or keep your hair healthy. I had issues with my hair, it started breaking off very bad. I wanted to get a relaxer however, Shonda did not advise it, because my hair was not strong enough for the relaxer. I followed her advice and to say the least, my hair is getting stronger and longer. Thanks Shonda - you are a Blessing from God. May God Continue to Bless your Anointed Hands! :-)

Shonda did her thang with my hair I just love it to pieces I basically got a silk press, trim,cut the price was reasonable. The whole time I was there she made me feel comfortable enough to where we was having conversations up until I left which was a A+++ in my book. So if anybody looking for a person who knows about hair and will get you right please stop looking and book your next appointment with my new friend shonda the best in the mesquite area hands down. See you in two weeks for my keratin treatment...

I found Shonda on line and I was hesitant to go at first. Luckily she was able to work me into her schedule that same day! I love her work and the fact that she is very knowlegeable about her craft. She made me very comfortable when I arrived and I felt that I could ask her anything about haircare and she could give me an honest answer. I really appreciated her accepting my business at the last minute. I think I have finally found my new hair stylist!!! Thanx Shonda B-)

I would avoid Shonda Johnson at all costs. She has no insurance and uses inferior equipment. Be careful using her as she burned my daughters hair close to scalp, and refuses to take an responsibility for it. My daughter has hair about 2 feet long and this will take a very long time to grow out. Due to the length of her hair, it could break as a result. She even refused to even refund the cost of the appointment. Avoid her at all costs.

Shonda at Anointed Hands Salon 2000 is the best! Shonda straightened my very thick and coarse natural hair and made it sooo shift and silky. She uses great products and I can tell she is really passionate about what she does. She educated me on caring for my own hair and she even recommended some really great hair products. Her motto is if she cant do it right then she wont do it at all.

I booked a last minute appointment and Shonda came in early just to fit me into her schedule. I chose the Keratin express treatment and was thrilled with the results! my hair is full of body and I feel fabulous! Shonda did an amazing job and made sure that she took the time to do it right.
