Ive had my haircut at this location for at least 5 years. For a couple of years a Vietnamese lady named Vi Nugen cut my hair and she was terrific! Vi left to start a teaching career and she recommended Candice Jones who was also terrific, perhaps even better than Vi. We were able to request a particular stylist and even if I had to wait for two or more people before me, I would gladly do so because my stylist was so good. Things were good until the owner went crazy. Sadly, the owner, Steve, has lost his business sense, if he ever had any. He decided that allowing the customer to choose who would cut his hair wasnt "the business model" he wanted so he refused to allow us to wait for a stylist and he lost my business and perhaps another 100+ customers because of his short sightedness. I went to ProCuts, just down the road, and they told me that more than a dozen of their new customers had the same experience as I did and had left Great Clips in search of a more welcoming business. I went back to Steve and appealed to him to reconsider his decision not to allow us to choose our own stylist and he ignored my pleading and reasoning. I dont expect him, or any business, to prosper if their number one concern isnt the satisfaction of their clients. Sadly, Steve is listening to someone other than the people who put money in his pockets and that kind of advice is destined for failure.

Went here last yr same time to get my hair cut. A thick blonde white lady in her early 20,s cut my hair..My layers were horribly uneven & poker straight so u can tell where they all started n ended! Called to complain.. N with attitute, I was told that i could come up with in 5 days n they would fix it.. I couldnt possibly get up there, i work 6 days a week so i fixed it myself.. Went back here on Sunday hoping someone new would be there but nope! Same person! Its the only salon open in this area on Sunday n i was in need of quick cut! I was 2nd in line.. Waiting an hr.. At that point the line grew to about 18-20 ppl behind me! So as we go in i get stuck with the same lady as last yr! Showed her a pic of the length n style n she started cutting! Asked her if she could blow it out n style it so i know its done right plus i had some where to be n her reply... "Oh thats to expensive n we dont really do that!" im thinking... Do i look poor? Lmao! I was rushed outta there because it was so full! All their there for is the money! They have no pride in their work!! Only reason she didnt style is cuz she knew i wouldnt like it! Well needless to say, im heading to the Bishop Arts District where they have a 5 star review! This is the Worst place ever!

My experience wasnt too great. I firstly called asking the prices of the services that I wanted; Flat iron being one of them. The woman on the phone was friendly, and told me a flat iron would be $25 and up depending on the LENGTH of my hair. Upon arriving, the chunky stylist that wears a lot of makeup, at the first chair to the right, was the one who "greeted" me. She seemed completely uninterested in assisting me. I told her I called earlier about getting a shampoo, trim, and flat iron. She responded by saying "Who?" As if she didnt hear me or didnt care. Her demeanor was all attitude. As she was entering my information into the system, she then stated that a flat iron is $75 and that they "went up" on their prices. Maam, its bad enough that youre giving poor service as soon as a customer enters the store. Its another thing to claim itll be $75 for a simple flat iron with no deep conditioning or anything else included. Or even assuming that I wouldnt even able to afford such a price. I sat for a few moments and left because I felt unwelcomed. I refuse to let anyone touch my hair after feeling like Ive been treated differently because I dont look the way that I sound on the phone. (If you know what I mean) Simply pathetic.

I took my daughter for a back to school hair cut it was awful I wont be going back ever. These ladies are only there to get a check not to satisfy the customer. You tell them how you want your hair cut and they have the nerve to say Im going to do it how I think is best! Hello Im a paying customer it should be done my way! So I walked out unsatisfied I wont be taking my daughter back to this place . Only reason I came here is because I had a cupon but not worth it . I rather pay the extra and have a professional stylist do my childs hair.

Got a hair cut here, and a great haircut is was not, it was quick and that is all it was, wouldnt show me the back of my head. Tami, was nice but she missed a lot of Hair in the back, when i got home i cut it myself with scissor after I had two mirrors to see it. Saddens me I paid $14 and $4 tip for a hair cut that was both embarrassing, and just wrongly cut! The group of girls in their today were all on their phones, unresponsive and didnt have a care in the world, terrible customer service.

I bawled my eyes out when I left. I went in with shoulder length hair, I said I wanted a few layers and scrappy bands to the length of my brow and what I got was a bob and straight cut bangs above my brow, it looks terrible. I will never go here again. I told the woman that I did NOT want it short for the fact that I was trying to grow it out longer. She totally did the opposite!

The worst place to get a haircut. For starters you dont get seated unless you sign in online because if you dont the people that do get to skip you making you wait for hours and apparently they can choose whos next instead of having an in order line. I was skipped 6 times till i finally got up and left ..will never go back to place.

30 minutes before closing, needed a haircut. Was able to walk in and sit down, no wait. The 2 stylists were very kind and professional, gave me a great cut with no problems. Was very happy they stayed open later hours than others. Will return of in the area.

The cut was mediocre, shaggy and uneven. And when I had a small problem, the manager was rude and unhelpful. Id strongly recommend getting your hair cut elsewhere.
