BEWARE OF THIS POST OFFICE AND THE LETTER CARRIERS THAT ARE FROM THIS LOCATION.... Everything that has been said or listed from reviewers is 100% true -- My experience is the following -- Had FIVE shipments from Amazon to be delivered to my residence off La Prada -- Have always had any parcels by USPS, UPS. and FEDEX delivered to my front door step with no concerns of theft due to me working from home AND the Numerous Security cameras that are set up and recording around my home and front door... Received NOTICE --(for shipment #1, and # 2) that my mailbox was too small for delivery of the two parcels and that I could pick them up at the post office... UM ... No... Not picking them up at the PO -- thats why i paid amazon to ship them to my front door... SO I requested redelivery -- What makes matters even worse is that the letter carrier did not even come to the front of my house or even the front door to see if I was home to deliver - instead left the fabricated lazy excuse delivery "attempt" *yeah right notice in my mailbox... NEXT day -- Shipment # 3 and # 4 - received delivery notice attempt (online tracking said at 5:34am- delivery was attempted.. WTF ever.... ) and that the parcels were not left due to non-secure area to leave the packages... LOL.. yeah here we go again.. so I scheduled a redelivery of # 3 and # 4 - waiting on #1 and #2 to show up that same day.... SO I Called the wonderful usps delights at the Mesquite Grubbs location and asked to speak to the POSTMASTER... A lady got on the phone - I explained everything above and she asked my address and said she would call the carrier and have them redeliver the 4 parcels that day....LOL.... GUESS WHAT... they never were redelivered.... so the following day... I most certainly should get 1 2 3 4 redelivered right??? WRONG.... Shipment # 5 - was supposedly attempted to be delivered at 734am (again WTF ever) and was not left due to "unsecure area" and I could pick up the Pkg at the PO the next day... B*LLS*H*T.... So I filed a formal complaint online at usps.com and also called and even at the USPS main office was met with such enthusiasm that I finally was clear with them that with technology today timestamping everything - that if they (the USPS workers) were going to continue to be lazy and lie about delivery attempts - that they better come up with better ways ... because in addition to the security cameras i have that show no human beings much less USPS employees on my property or attempting to delivery any pkgs whatsoever -- I am going to start a statewide/national campaign to clean out the dead wood in the USPS service -- It is utterly ridiculous the amount of money the avg USPS postal worker makes an hour for such incompetent, lazy and horrible customer service we receive -- TRUST ME ... stay away from this PO and its employees if you dont want a headache or you might just go "postal".... This type of govt waste has got to be stopped and fixed... I am certain there are plenty of people that would love to work for the USPS and get the GOOD PAY and BENEFITS that the current lazy ones get..... IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB and you DONT PERFORM -- LEAVE or you should get FIRED.. period....

What a nightmare! I have never seen a post office so disorganized. I moved in this area 5 years ago and I have had nothing but trouble. I get a certified letter every month in which I have to sign for. I have waited at home on my days off to sign and receive it, just to go to my mailbox and find the slip there. The carriers are lazy and wont knock on the door to deliver it. They stick bills inside of magazines and sales ads. You will never know that you have a bill until you read the magazine. Recently they put a vacant notice in my mailbox. Newflash...I live there so its not vacant. They tried to put the blame on my apartment office but the office said it was the post offices fault. The unit beside me is the one that is vacant. So they have been holding my mail. When I went to get my mail no one knows where it is. Since the 15th I have called bill collectors to get extensions. Now, its the 19th my insurance has laspsed my account is overdrawn du to automatic drafts. I have called the manager and supervisor of the post office. They take your name, address and phone number and promise to get back with you , but they dont follow through. As I was sitting their yesterday waiting to talk to the Post Master, I was told she was at lunch but then the clerk told another customer that she was on a conference call. People were complaing because of the lack of correct information that was given to them. Lost packages or excuses that packages were return to sender turned out to be found by other employees. The post office was poorly staffed. Because of the carriers mistake, I have to pay dearly and not one apology has been offered. I called today and was guaranteed that the problem would be fixed and that they would service my address this morning(10am) its now 4:30 and Im still waiting. I have never been so angry and dissatisfied. They could care less.

I have had not two but three horrible horrible experiences with this post office in the last month!!! I never wrote reviews but Ive had it with this place! The mailboxes at my apartments were getting fixed and for whatever dumb reason our mail was being sent to the garland post office (where BTW they wouldnt let me pick up my mail from there) and in order to get my mail at the mesquite location I had to call and request that it be sent over and then pick it up the next day! The hours are crap theyre only open 8:30- 5pm and those are the same hours I work so I have to wrote a letter and have someone else pick up my mail! Well I did all that and when the person went today they told her my mail wasnt there, my mailbox was fixed and its in my box. When I checked my mailbox it was only mail for one day. Ive been without my mail for 2 weeks and I know for a fact I have more mail than that. The people that work in that little wooden door are lazy! The last time I had to go back a second time to get my mail because he didnt look under a simple box and flat out told me my mail wasnt there but when I spoke to the supervisor about my concern he found my mail!!! Im so over these lazy people not getting the full information and just blowing me off like Im not important. Oh to make it worse I was calling all day to let them know someone was going to pick up my mail and the phone was busy!!! Its horrible and I feel sorry for anybody who doesnt have a choice but to deal with it!!!!!

I had a box delivered by a courier that was so bad in shape it looked like it had been dropped kicked like a football. It was a painting that was completely destroyed. I waited forever in line at the service door I pleaded for help but all I get is this bitc* Nenita whom is a supervisor that has an ego so big she things she walks on water. Boy, let me tell ya, shes real piece of work. Once I explained my situation that my package was damaged all of the sudden she starts getting loud and gets this awful attitude with me. What a rude Bitc* she was, She hates helping people and she needs an attitude adjustment. She tried to put one on me by making it sound like it was all my fault, and trying to make me feel bad about it.I have had horrible past experiences from this post office, I have total strangers show up at my front door with my packages, and mail, the couriers just dont care who gets your mail or parcel they just do whatever they want AND GET AWAY WITH IT!!!! They all need to be fired. I give them a negative 5 stars. Worlds worst post office ever. What a frightening experience. You need to have little or no business at all with them. Horrible and they work very slow mentally and physically.I think special needs people could do a better/faster job than what these people are doing. I hate this place with what little heart that has yet to be stolen from me. -Steven Laporte
