The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because the stylist, Amy, was accommodating in meeting me outside of regular spa hours and there are some popular hairstyles shes very good at. Unfortunately, thats pretty much as positive as this review will get. (Note: This is a review of my experience with Euphorias hairstylist, not their spa treatments, which Ive never had and cannot comment on.) TL;DR: Images attached are what I was after, and what I got 2 hours and $60+ later. A while back I went to Euphoria because I needed a hair stylist for my wedding. So my mom and I go to meet Amy the stylist at the spa during off-hours for a hairdo trial run. Amy shows up noticeably sick with the flu or something - I still dont know whether to be glad she made time for me while feeling unwell, or irritated that she knew my wedding was in less than a week and DID NOT TELL ME she was very sick beforehand. By the grace of God, neither my mom nor I caught whatever it was she had (my mom was definitely concerned about it). I had a specific (and admittedly somewhat challenging) updo in mind, and 2 hours and $60+ later all I had was a frizzy mess. She said we only needed to do this one trial run, but upon seeing the disaster that was my hair I asked if she didnt think we might need another go at it. She said no, she didnt think so, it would be fine. The look on my moms face when she saw my hair confirmed what I was thinking - it was not fine at all. No way was I walking down the aisle with my hair like that, and no way was I betting on the stylist to improvise something the day of my wedding if this updo failed to work again. I texted my best friend/maid-of-honor a picture of the back of my head and she responded, "She charged you money for THAT?!" She was livid and said she would have asked for her money back. Dont get me wrong - I think there are hairstyles Amy is quite good at (Ive seen photos of some of her work - some of it looks very nice), but I think her experience is limited to popular Pinteresty hairstyles and braids are not her strong point. Moral of the story: When it comes to important events, you NEED a hair trial runs. If I hadnt had one, it would have been a complete disaster. I wasnt so bothered by the fact that she did not have the ability to do the updo I wanted as I was by the fact that she blew it off like it didnt matter and said it was fine and we didnt need to do further trial runs. Shed just show up the day of wedding and do my hair. 2 hours, $60+, botched hairdo, and everything will be okay the day of a morning wedding? Are you kidding me? Uh, NO WAY. Two more things that bothered me: 1. Sometimes I got a bit of a passive-aggressive vibe from her. When she started working on my hair, she made a rude remark along the lines of, "Wow, you need a haircut." Now, if I remember correctly, Id even told her before we got started that I did not want any kind of cut or trim. My hair is 30+ inches long. Had I had severe damage or breakage to my hair (I dont), I can understand why she would say that, but as it was there was no reason for her to say what she did unless is was a tactless joke, or worse, being intentionally rude. When I didnt really respond, she fake laughed and said an unconvincing "kidding." I kind of hope it was the cold/flu she had that was doing the talking, but Im not convinced of that. 2. This one is pretty minor to me, but the floor hadnt been very well swept (if it had been at all) and there was a lot of hair from a lot of other people who werent me down there. I dont know if thats normal for off-hours, but I sure hope it was swept up before regular hours... Happy ending to all of this, though: My mom did my hair for the wedding and it looked fabulous! Edit: I noticed after I left this review that, rather than contacting me to ask how they could make it right, the spa apparently started asking customers to specifically leave positive Google reviews about Amy to bolster the low rating that this review gave them.

I absolutely love Amy! Not only is she always accommodating to my schedule and tries to fit me in whenever she can, but she also tells me when things will work and not work. I have always been hesitant about letting hairstylists do anything to my hair (I have pretty thick hair and almost every person has wanted to thin it to do anything to it). The first time I used Amy I had my own idea of what I wanted, she told me she would do something similar that would work well with my face shape without thinning it! I loved it and loved that she listens but also assures your style will always work with you and not just a picture you bring. She has permed my hair several times and I always had compliments and people never knew it wasnt natural. My whole family comes to see Amy and whenever anyone needs a new stylist she is always the one I recommend! I would trust her to do anything with my hair! Love love love her!!

I go to Euphoria Day Spa on a regular basis. I see Amy and Stacie. Amy is a wonderful hairstylist and is always happy to accommodate you however she can. She is very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to picking out your color and cut. My hair has come a long way since I have started seeing Amy. I am always very happy with my service. Amys work area is always clean and organized. I am very happy with my service and will returning on a regular basis to see Amy. Stacie is amazing with brows. She always is very professional and thorough when I go in and always does a wonderful job. She is one of the sweetest people you will meet. I feel like I have no worries about my brows when I go see her. Stacie always has a clean work area and takes pride in her work. I will continue to see Stacie on a regular basis.

My family of 4 has been going to Amy for over 4 years and have never been disappointed. She has always put our needs ahead of hers. Amy is the only hair dresser who my 13 year-old will let touch her hair so I know shes gained her trust for sure. Just recently I was throwing around the idea of letting my gray hair come out and not color it any longer. Amy worked with me on this decision on multiple appointments, over multiple phone calls and really made sure I was comfortable with this. She didnt want me to be unhappy with my hair in the end of the day. And honestly Ive never received so many compliments on my hair...from complete strangers too. Amy will treat you like family and she takes pride in her job. Youre missing out if you dont give her a shot.

I started going to Amy years ago when she was in Greenville, so when she started working at Euphoria, I followed her of course. Its very hard to find someone who is as talented as Amy with cutting and color and has a GREAT personality too. Ive never had short hair before, but I trust Amy so much with my hair. I showed her a picture of a very short cut and she said "oh thats a Bob, that would look cute on you" I wasnt worried about it at all and told her to do it... and I love it ! Amy is a Master of her craft !
