People should really be ashamed of them selves and how they can bash on people that try so hard to serve people they dont even know. Yes there are some bad experiences that many of you have gone through that should have never happened but we are only human and make mistakes..but learn from them. The way you guys are talking about these people is so cruel. Dont you know this salon has only been around for almost two years and this year they made so many changes and went through a lot of growing pains to get where there are now? With the living social Mani/Pedi, Facial, and massage Seidou sold 1,200 packages, Mani/pedi 1,100, and hundreds of Bazillian waxing, Chemical peels, Bazillian Blow outs (I think there may be more) and this was way more then what they thought they would sell for their little salon. For never having that many clients I feel that they did pretty well. Which makes me think...if you handful are the only ones that have complained out of 1,200+ they actually did very good being most of the reviews are the same on every review site. Most important if you have a problem most of you are adults and should know to address your issues to the person directly not run on to a website and talk about your problems when you most likley told Seidou that you enjoyed your services and they had no clue you felt the way you did. Going behind their back and bashing them is not going to do anything to resolve your issue and no way going to help the salon. You have no idea what a lot of those girls go through put your self in their shoes for once. Also ...every service provider is licensed just go look their name up on the MN Bored of Cosmetology it has all of them listed on that site. Bet none of you thought to do that before saying all that you did. Also Massage is a unregulated service in the state of MN and the State makes you post that stating that it is and in the state of Minnesota you do not have to have a license to preform message there for the reason behind putting up the sign. The salon is also licensed. A lot of people are lazy and like to talk about people and throw out untrue things before doing the research or asking questions...well I did! Thank you Seidou and all the girls and the guys that work their you are all great.

I got the Living Social coupon ($90 for an hour massage, hour facial, pedicure and manicure) but only got the pedicure and manicure. The service was so bad that I didnt want the massage or facial. This was literally the worst salon spa experience I have ever had. Ever. The person doing my pedicure didnt take off my old polish, then she contorted each one of my toes into the most unnatural position to file the nails and when she polished my nails, she fully painted my toes in the process, only to go back with a paint brush to clean off the polish from my skin around my toes. Really!? Im pretty sure this person didnt have a cosmetology licence. The manicure was even worse. She only filed half of my nails. She stood up during my hand massage and started walking away, but then just stood there holding my hand. I almost asked her if she was drunk. She left my so much file dust and dirt under my nails that they were literally more dirty than when I arrived at the salon. I asked to have clear polish, but instead she quickly through on a base coat and told me not to touch anything until the stickiness went away. Within an hour the base coat had peeled away and my hands looks worse than when I entered the salon. Did I mention that there was still remnants of pink nail polish on two of my fingers from trying the colors. This was the first time in my entire life that I didnt leave any gratuity. My fingers and toes still feel dirty from the whole experience. My entire being shutters at the idea of returning for my massage and facial.

OK, first I got the special.... $90 for a 1hr massage, 1hr facial, mani & pedi.... my 1st experience was the facial, My face was washed x2 ( watch out for the soap in you eyes) next after applying a mask, the esti applied hot towels to my face and then left the room! whithout saying so ( while the towels were still on my face ) she then came back and continued her service.... dropping a bottle on my head in the process... next came the massage.... by a STUDENT!!!! it was her 1st day! she was asking me how she was doing the whole time.... ohh and did I mention there was a 9yr old birthday party going on during my massage(6-8girls having a blast... not so quietly) so the relaxing part of the massage was not going to happen so.... I decided to humor myself and give the massage therapist my input during the 50 min NOT 60 min massage. after that fun I went to have my mani/pedi which was fab! even though the spa owner was sititng in the pedi chair next to me ( getting herself a mani/pedi) saying "thanks for understanding" ( about the 9yr old birthday party ) humm.... I dont think I ever said that I "understanded" that inconveinence. It was a very obnoxious experience at Seidou Salon Spa! Dont waste your time or money!

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a salon in my whole entire life. I had highlights done by a previous hair stylist, but decided to try Seidou because of their special they had going on. The woman who did my hair at Seidou did the completely wrong color that didnt match my highlights whatsoever and instead were orange. I went in later the same day so she could fix them, and she ended up turning my hair a shade of greenish-yellow. I was absolutely furious and told her to just dye my hair back to my natural color, with no highlights at all. The top of my head is still a lighter color than the rest of my hair. I am shocked that an Aveda salon would have someone working there like her. She didnt know what she was doing, and the way she dressed was HIGHLY unprofessional. Please, for your own good, take your business somewhere else, and dont even risk going to Sediou Salon & Spa for a color EVER.

I also had the living social deal and had an awful experience. The massage room had a sign saying they were not a licensed facility in the state of MN for massage or facials. Massage- Disqusting. The table blanket was covered in long blonde hairs. I asked for a different one and they gave one to me but there was no apology and the massage therapist remarked about sometimes blankets just get like that from the dryer. To me it was obvious it had not been washed. The therapist had very tall clear plastic stripper heals on that were very noisy as she walked around the table during my massage. She also had a skirt with a slit all the way up her side- not professional- made me feel like I was at a dirty place. Facial- They washed my face and applied two masks. Nothing else. No extractions. No massage. Nails- Worst mani/pedi I have ever had. Do not go there!!!

After reading all the reviews, I was almost scared to use my spa day at Seidou but am glad I used it! I had a pedicure, massage, express facial and shampoo/blow dry and was very satisfied with all of the services. My toes look great and it was one of the most comfortable pedicures Ive ever had. The massage was very good and the girl really worked on my trouble areas (which I feel sometimes lacks in spa type massages). The facial was also very relaxing and all the products seemed great. There were no extractions but I dont think that would be included in an express facial anyway. The place was nicely decorated and appeared very clean and organized. Overall, I am very glad I didnt listen to the other reviewers and had a wonderful experience!
