These guys were great to work with! Its incredibly comforting to know Ive found professional, courteous, diesel experts so close to town! The People: I called late on a Monday afternoon and Chris was cordial, patient, and informative when responding to all of my questions. That next morning, I brought my diesel volkswagen in for them to look at my brake problem and then schedule an appointment for the repair. Not only did they take a look at my car within minutes of my arrival, but the were also able to replace the broken hose that was causing my problem. I was in and out of there in less than an hour! They acknowledged that I had some other issues with my car but didnt push me to buy extra services, just an open invitation to bring it back. It was really a positive experience. The place: I was seriously impressed with the quality and cleanliness of their customer area. Seriously. if only more waiting areas could be like this- a separate area from the reception complete with comfortable seating, TV, magazines, and an organized yet inviting space for children to play. It was well decorated, clean, and inviting, a welcome surprise above and beyond most waiting rooms of any profession. Im really glad I found these guys, and Ill bring my car back to them without hesitation.

I was in San Antonio for a couple of days on vacation. As I got on the highway headed back home, my car broke down. I called a repair shop to tow it and fix it, but they couldnt figure out what the problem was. After 2 days, they called Empire and had my car towed to them to figure out. I called Empire and explained my situation about needing to get home to my job. I had already missed two days of work. Empire had my car up and running in just a few hours. They have outstanding customer service and even went out of their way to pick my friend & I up at our hotel in downtown since we had no where to go when we checked out and no way to get there.We waited in their air conditioned waiting room while they repaired my vehicle. We were out of there within about 3 or 4 hours! They definitely are honest people and I would recommend them to anyone in the San Antonio area!

Would recommend to anyone needing a shop that is honest, trustworthy, and also does not attempt to throw parts at a problem to jack up the bill. Our truck was in and out within 2 days (only b/c we had them look over everything and tell us all potential problems). Prices are reasonable and the staff is super friendly. Did not feel as though I was treated any differently because I was a woman. Will be going back for anything else we need done to our vehicle.

Had a part fail that was installed in Las Vegas, these guys took me in while I was on my road trip and got me fixed same day. Very knowledgeable staff, friendly and easy to work with. They even helped me get warranty coverage from Napa on the failed part. Top notch, very reasonable prices, and highly recommended!
