I was referred by AAA to Verns Auto Repair, im from out of town travelling with my family. I called in to get a quote for a brake job, the technician advised Verns Auto Repair doesnt accept customer supplied parts because of warranty, but, theres a post by a local customer a week ago that had a timing belt installed by Verns Auto Repair that she supplied. I care about the quality of parts installed on my vehicles, thats why I prefer to supply my own parts not to mention the top dollar charge per hour for repairs. I was disappointed to say the least, my hometown AAA repair shops (In TX) have diagnosed my vehicles free at no cost (Wasnt looking for free service either). Heres the post from a customer that supplied own parts "Joseph Davis a week ago This place is great. I needed a timing chain done on my 2008 Pontiac G5 and I was able to bring my own parts and the total for the repair came in under what they originally quoted me. Helpful?
