They replaced my front brakes pads and resurfaced the rotors on my 2013 Honda Civic at a reasonable price and adjusted the back brakes. After driving with the new brakes, I began to hear some unusual rattling sound and when I applied the brakes, a clicking sound at low speeds, that followed the rotation of the tire. I took it back to them to look and see if they could find out what was making the noise. After waiting two hours, they said my wheel bearings were going out and it would cost $750 to replace the bearings in both wheels. I reiterated that the noise occurred when I applied the brakes and was not continuous while driving. They then made up some excuse that I didnt buy and I said to not worry about. I took my car to a mechanic near my office. They drove the car with me and heard the noise. They then took the wheel and pads off and found that the rotor had been resurfaced below specs and had become warped, which caused the clicking each time the wheel rotated. They also noticed that the rotor was seated on the hub without a set screw. They replaced the rotor, put in the screws and now I have no clicking or rattling.

BEWARE!!!! I agreed to a basic inspection and brake job... the $99 pad change. When I called about picking up my car I was told it would cost me $971.00!! When I told them that was not what I agreed to I was told it would cost me $400 for them to put my parts back on so I could come get my car!!! My father went with me and had them show him what they had supposedly done. Only one side was taken apart so he could see. They said brake pads on all sides (well see), one rotor, one caliper. He told them to put everything back the way it was and he would do the job himself. My dad told the manager that my mothe went online after I called him, and that there were obviously a lot of complaints about this company. The manager said, "We have not had any problems, but we can if you want to." HE LITERALLY THREATENED MY FATHER. My dad just walked away. We went to Auto Zone and priced the parts, brake pads for all four wheels, a rotor, and a caliper... the parts cost $166.00. So they were going to charge me $700 for labor??!!! SCHYSTERS!!

Chris and Adrian were excellent! Great service, expert car care advice. They saved me $89 per axle on install of rotors and pads. I paid $99 / axle. They were about the same price as other shops for the power steering flush $79, and the rear differential flush $79. The brake system flush was done for a GREAT price!! I paid Beldens $115 almost 3 years ago... I paid $69 for the same service at Just Brakes #803 today 10/4/2015! Adrian even rotated my tires when he put them back on when I mentioned to him that I was due for a rotation. Chris and Adrian were not pushy and told me exactly what they were going to do, why, and even gave me the work order so I knew exactly what I would pay in full before they started the work. I am very happy, I will go back, and I would definitely recommend them (Chris and Adrian) to others. FULL DISCLOSURE: I was NOT asked, directed, or incentivized with a discount for writing this review. I am doing so because so far, it was the best experience Ive had with any shop.

I returned my car for brakes to Just Brakes (Hwy 281) after 9,700 miles. My prior information was in their computer and I had my receipt from prior repairs at this same shop, which includes pads and rear drum repair. They told me that my suspension OE (original equipment) and was in need of $1600 repair. I took the car to another mechanic and he replaced the rear brake drums which allegedly had been repaired. The drums had hairline cracks. I did not need a $1600 repair job. I call Just Brakes and they indicated that the car should have been under warranty but have not done anything. In my view they do not do the work that they charge you for and will not warranty their work!

I have been to this location several times for oil changes and have always had a good experience. I really like the fact that they rotated my tires and checked the tire pressure for free with my coupon. My tires were getting a little worn on the front so we were able to extend the life by moving them to the back. Also, my pressure was a little off so I was not getting the best gas mileage possible. They showed me my brake pads were beginning to show some wear but were not down to the wear bars yet at an earlier visit. A few months later my brakes began to squeel so I went back, again with a coupon, got my brakes done for $ 99.00 and am very happy.

Updated. This shop used to be great. Last two times theyve tried to take me over the coals. I just got quoted $990 for front brakes on a truck. Down the street, same job with better parts is $575. Time before I took in a car that my brother-in-law had redone the brakes but they were soft. I asked them to bleed the brakes. They suggested I needed new calipers for almost $600 on a mercedes. I told them to just bleed the brakes as we had the calipers inspected. Sure enough, bleeding the brakes took care of it. Youll get a really cheap quote on the phone but youll always need a lot of other parts when you go in...

Went in for the $99 pad change, Cost me a little more after hardware costs and bleeding of the brakes were thrown on ($250). However, those are necessary when changing brakes the right way. Considering they saved me from working on the brakes myself in 105 degree weather, those guys had great service! Definitely recommend them. They were honest about everything, and other surrounding brake shops were going to charge me three times as much, without the lifetime warranty I get with Just Brakes. However, if you plan to take your car here, expect it to take all day, they are very busy. But it is worth it!

Had a good experience 5 years ago but my latest brake fix was a total disaster. I would avoid this place. They charged me a healthy amount to "fix" my brakes and they didnt leave them right. Went back numerous times and I received multiple excuses and they never got the job done right. Im not sure the techs know what they are doing here. Communication is not their strong point.

281 Just Brakes has a great manager and a great crew. Throughly inspected the issue and showed me every part that needed repair options and discussed when I would require future repairs. The manager even came out on his day off had to ensure I had a pleasant and well-informed experience. These men are more than mechanics, they are true customer driven professionals.

Sad to see people violating Google guidelines and policies in order to obtain positive feedback. Its one thing to ask for a review, its entirely different to pay someone for a review. If someone has to bribe you to give a positive review, it probably means their service was bad to begin with and they are attempting to hide their poor service record.
