We have a 2001 Dodge Ram that wasnt running. I called my regular mechanic for a diagnosis only. My husband would fix it himself. A week and a half he put me off. He finally told me repairs pay his bills not diagnosis. My husband found Painless Automotive on Google. I was very surprised to see it was down the road from me, and I never noticed in the 8+ years I have lived here. My husband called, and he could take it in that day. I had it towed to him. He ran a computer diagnosis, but had to go further with it. Called us to tell us it was the computer. He also said no charge!! WHAT no charge? I have never heard those words in my life from a mechanic. We where having a problem finding a tow truck to get it back to the house, Roger the owner said you can leave it here till you get your computer. Wow! So the truck stayed a total of 7 days till the computer got shipped to us. We went over there and my husband installed it, and it ran like a champ. If you are looking for honest, quick, affordable work done. Go to Painless. The owners (husband & wife) are wonderful people that do the right thing with their customers. I will go to them for all my automotive needs.

We ran into some car problems while visiting family in San Antonio. Goggled for auto repair in South SA and came up with Painless and with a review. So I went. The smartest thing I did. He was friendly, very knowledgeable, honest, and explained to me all the work that was done in detail. Did I mention he was economical? I went there thinking I had a bad alternator (from my limited mechanic skills) for my 04 Endeavor but he trouble shot it down to a bad battery terminal. I was ready to fork out some major bucks but only paid $20. He couldve taken me to the cleaners and I would have never known. Found out later that it wasnt the first time that situation has happen there. He is now not only my mechanic but my familys mechanic in SA.

Painless was recommended to me by a family member. I found Roger and Amber (the owners) to be very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I called one repair shop that wanted about $1,800.00 for a front end, tie rod replacement. This price was quoted without even looking at the car. They explained they had to replace the whole front end. I took my Chrysler to Roger who replaced the bushing and when it was done, he assured me the car would not even need a Front End alignment. All in all, the cost was a little over $200. Most of that was in labor since I already knew from many Youtube videos that the job would take about 3 - 4 hours to do. Great mechanic, honest, fair prices; what more can you ask for?

Had a in tank fuel pump installed on a 08 1500 Ram. Great job, very inexpensive and timely service. Will most definitely return and highly recommend.
