We purchased our home from Remax and when we PCSd we went with them to manage our property. At first the communication was great but slowly but surely communication stopped and we had to always reach out to Kathy Fry the property manager for updates on our property. Being a military family its stressful not knowing what is going on with your house and having the payments not hitting your account until the 15th of every month. I was constantly emailing her and calling her with no return calls and the statements of our monthly expenses to the house completely stopped. We only got notified if something happened to our house and it wasnt from the property manager it was from our insurance company when they sent someone out. After three different people renting our property we got orders back to San Antonio and we asked her to ask the tenants if they wanted to end their lease early so we could move back in. She said that she couldnt do that and the tenants ended up breaking the lease and moved out of the house and we never got their deposit or any of the months that left owing on their lease. They ended up using that last months rent to put that down as a deposit for another rental property. When they rented it out to another family we asked them for additional deposit because their rental history was little shady and I didnt want the same thing to happen to us again. They agreed and asked for another deposit but when these people left the property they damaged our wood floors which were about $7,000 to install and Carl Bishop stated that he couldnt keep both deposits because that didnt warrant a reason to do so. On top of all this the tenants had a dog there and didnt state they did on their lease and they never asked for a pet deposit for the dog. While going through all this Kathy Fry was fired and we were not informed that there was another property manager was working on our property. If they are getting paid to manage our property they did a horrible job at it! It doesnt seem like they did quarterly checks on the property or visited the property every 6 months to take pictures for the property owners. If they did then none of these issues wouldve have been issues. The tenants had dogs living inside where they peed all over my wood floors and damaged them we had to take up all the wood flooring and replace them. This company is more for the renters than they are for the owners of the property. If you are going to rent your house out and you are military and out of the state do yourself the FAVOR and dont use them to manage your house! It will cause you more stress and cost you more money! This was the worst experience ever! We rented while we were waiting for our house to be vacated by our renters and we rented from Caldwell Bankers they were an awesome company and very loyal and worked for their clients. They came in every 4-6 months to do property checks and take pictures of the property for the owner. This places is very unorganized and they seem like they have people coming and going all the time the new property manager they had just hired on our house had just quit as well. We never received any money back from any of the money we lost and Carl Bishop told us it would cost us more money to go to court than to get money from the previous tenants!

I enlisted the services of Remax 360 in September of last year and the house sold in February, so thats the good part. However, the relationship that I had with Real Estate agent Zachary Taylor was mediocre at best and went down-hill from there. I live out of state and inherited this house after the death of a relative. Having bought and sold several proprieties and dealing with many agents/brokers, in comparison, Mr. Taylor showed slacker tendencies and I did not feel that he had my best interest at heart. I only received the weekly updates that he promised, when I solicited them. Another thing that I found annoying was each time I called him, I would get a call back from his assistant or a returned email explaining how he was too busy to call me back. It was impossible to get him on the phone, Im in my car most of the time and for me its easier to make a quick call, than to read an email. Communication 101 - respect the clients preferred method of communication! I made several suggestions to him (which should have been the other way around), such as taking and posting more pictures to better promote the property, leaving the lights on, etc. Ultimately we ended up reducing the cost, which made it easier for another agent to sell, because I really dont think Mr. Taylor did much more than post his sign out front for a little free advertisement. Now heres the kicker... I expressed my opinion of good ole Zack to my escrow company and they shared my comments with him, which was fine, but then I get, yet another long self-indulge email from him stating how great he is, how busy he is and how wrong I was for sharing my opinions with his colleagues. By the way, Im still waiting for the "Thank you basket"..."card".. "email (lol)". I guess not huh. Please note: Im not bashing the company as a whole, but definitely would not recommend Zachary Taylor. Delete review

Carl is great and runs a solid business. His agents know their business and are respected among their peers. When you are with Carl or one of his agents you know you are with a true professional. Chuck
