I rarely were reviews, but my experience was unpleasant. I decided to get my hair done here for An event and booked an appointment well ahead of time. When I came in I waited for about 30 minutes because my hair dresser was finishing up with someone else. As the hair dresser started on my hair she started to complain about how the last girls hair was so thick, and that people with thicker hair should clarify that before the appointment. She continued to do my hair then noted how thick my hair was as well, and complained several more times about how thick hair takes too long. She then complained that my naturally straight THICK hair refused to hold a curl. Throughout the complaining she and a coworker discussed their lives in depth, entirely forgetting they had a paying customer in their company. Ive never felt more unwelcomed. Not to mention, not even an hour after my hair was done it started to come out of the up-do.

Ask for Chelsea! She did a great job on my hair, I get compliments all the time! Ive been searching for a good hair stylist for the past 2 years now... my sister got her hair cut here and it looked great, so i called them up to give them a try. I got booked with a girl named Chelsea, and was told she was very good. (I specificlly asked for someone experenced) She listened as I told her my horror stories about past hair stylists (part of that was me telling/hinting to her that she better not screw up my hair or I will come unglued on her.. lol) She didnt get nervous, just was a pro and did everything exactly to my liking. And Im very picky. I told her that if I liked how she did my hair, then I would be back....well.... Ive just found my new hair stylist, congrats girl, youve earned a regular customer! I booked another appointment that day for a trim in 2 months. :)

LOVE Monroe Hair Studio! I have been getting my hair done there for 7 years and never go anywhere else. Bambi is amazing and always knows exactly how to cut and color my hair so I love it. Shes very accommodating and will do anything to make sure I leave loving my hair! Lanna did my hair for my wedding and it was by far the best updo Ive ever had in all my years of proms, formals and other weddings! You cant go wrong choosing Monroe for all your hair needs.

I JUST got my hair done at Monroe. I had never been there before and i just loved it! i was able to make an appointment same day the service was spot on with a perfect atmosphere. Felt right at home a true San Marcos business. My hair dresser was Lindsey Frisbie a San Marcos native with great work and great conversation. It was also fairly priced, I will without a doubt be going back :)
