I dropped off a bag of clothes (had a $1500 Ted Baker suit in there) and a comforter. Came back two weeks later only to find out they lost my clothes and they told me I never dropped off my clothes because it wasnt on my claim ticket nor did they have the pieces listed in their inventory sheet. I told them what was in the bag and they stated they were going to look for them. Never heard back from them. Not a phone call just to tell me they were still looking...nothing. I called again to see if they had them. They stated they didnt and they said I didnt turn in those clothes (basically calling me a liar). The next day I drove up to the store and made a big deal about what was missing and brought in another laundry bag to show them exactly what is looked like. They said since they do not have record of these clothes and that I did not bring them in and that they do not have them in their possession (again, basically calling me a liar). I left furiously and started looking up "small claims lawsuits" that night. Fortunately I got a call the next day from an employee saying they wanted me to come in to ID a suit that matched my description. I drove to the store and an employee handed me my items and I went on my way back home. Then employee called me and asked me to come back to pay for my items. She never asked me to pay while I was in the store. I asked her if it was her companys policy to call their clients liars when they lose clothing. I said that I was seriously offended when they kept telling me that I never dropped these clothes off, WHEN I KNEW I DID! She basically said it doesnt matter what happened and that if I ordered a service I have to pay for a service. I guess the service I ordered was to be called a liar, and to sweat bullets for an entire week because my dry cleaner lost my $1500 suit and told me I never brought it in the first place. If you make a mistake , make it right. After what they put me through I still cant believe they had the audacity to charge me. I asked her what would they have done if they lost my suit. She said if you have a receipt ...they would pay for it.... Who kept receipts of their clothes? I have a proof of the bank transaction at Nordstroms! Anyways, their service in horrible. They never called me to give me updates on my clothes. Every time I went in the store, they tried to make me feel like an idiot....Like I was losing my mind because they kept saying I never turned in my clothes. There are 100 different ways they could have gone about this situation, but they chose to play dumb and try to make the client feel horrible. I would never recommended them, and Im going to do the best I can to educate all my friends in The Woodlands about how I was treated. And to top it all off, I cant believe they charged me when they found my cloths. Awful!

The Woodlands Cleaners has three locations. About two months ago I dropped off clothes for dry cleaning at the Creekside Cleaners location. When I returned to pick up my clothes, they could not find two pairs of pants that I had dropped off. Both pairs of pants were valued at $195, or $208 with tax. They told me that it could take up to two weeks to try and locate the clothes. I waited the two weeks while they looked through their network. After a couple weeks, I followed up with them. They still could not locate my clothes. They told me that I would need to produce the receipts for the pants. This was the first time I asked the manger (Steve Mills) call me. He never called me. I went back on a couple of occasions and asked for him to call me, which he never did. When you go into this location, you have to speak to the clerks at the counter. Each time they would tell me that they were sorry and they gave him my message. I finally brought in the receipts for both pairs of pants that totaled $208 each with tax. After another week with no follow up, I went back to this location and demanded to speak to Steve about the lack of follow up. As you can probably guess by now, he never called me. That night one of the clerks at the location called me and told me that my check would be available in the morning. When I went to pick up the check, he had written the check for $344. I was confused that he had given me a check $72 short. He wrote me a letter and explained that he depreciated the cost of my pants. If they lose your clothes, they use a depreciation chart to determine the value. After I received the check, I asked again for Steve to call me, he never did! I am extremely disappointed about the lack of customer service and follow up from this business.

I just picked up 2 pairs of pants and two shirts for work. The Bill came to almost $20! It was almost $7 for each pair of pants, which is almost 3 times what I normally pay at the cleaners I usually use. I tried the Woodlands Cleaners because it was closer to where I live, but never again. I felt like I had been cheated. There are no signs telling you how much their services are. They make you pay when you pick up, but by then, you have to pay to get your clothes back. When I questioned the clerk, she agreed they were much higher than elsewhere, but its The Woodlands and the owners have been there for 30 years, so she guesses people are willing to pay it. The owner certainly has the right to charge whatever he chooses for his services, but I will now choose to take my business elsewhere. I just want people to know about this who might be moving into the area and looking for a decent reputable, fair dry cleaner. Please look someplace else...I know I will!

I took a tan trench coat to these guys and ended up with more stains than when I took it in! Some how, a red stain showed up on the outside collar and the stain I took it in for (a small sweat stain) did not come out. On top of that, this cleaners closes pretty early and do not have their hours posted ANYWHERE! Just take a wild guess as to when you should pick up your clothes.
