Terrible terrible terrible! Ive continually had pieces of my mail lost or incorrectly delivered, and Ive received items of mail of my neighbors and complete strangers in my box on almost a daily basis - which means others are receiving MY mail and not all of them are honest or patient enough to try to return it. This is a continual long-term issue that Ive complained about before. Recently an expensive International package was returned to Spain for no reason. I was never notified that it had even arrived. I have a photo of the package and it was stamped "unclaimed" but I had never received any notices that it needed to be claimed! That was the last straw. I took time off work so I could actually go in to talk to the manager. She apologized over and over but said there was nothing she could do now to compensate me for the returned package. She nodded knowingly when she saw my address and said she knew exactly who my carrier was (her reaction indicated its a problem employee). She would "talk to my carrier" (what good would that do?). She thanked me for coming in because "if no one tells us there is a problem, we dont know theres a problem" (but its obvious theyve had plenty of other complaints about plenty of other problems and things dont seem to be improving) I asked her to please investigate the package issue - there were tracking numbers she could use to figure out exactly what had happened. She never followed up. She told me that the ONLY thing I could do to ENSURE I receive my international packages is to put my mail on HOLD so that when the package arrived it would be held securely at the post office location until I came and signed for it and that would guarantee that it would not be returned to the country of origin. (because apparently she cant simply ensure my mail carrier is replaced by someone who knows how to do their job) So, last week I went to the hassle of putting my entire home mail service on VACATION HOLD. I did this using the secure online tool that the manager told me to use, and after following the instructions I received a confirmation by email stating that my mail would indeed be HELD beginning March 26. Well, no surprise - It is now March 30 and we are STILL RECEIVING daily mail into my mailbox that I find waiting for me when I come home from work each night! So, apparently this post office cant even handle HOLDING mail properly! With additional international packages en route to me right now *(required to be signed for) I feel sick inside. I have little hope I will receive them. Plus, what if I really was out of town and needed my mail HELD?! My mail box would be completely overflowing by now. Anyone could have stolen my mail and/or my identity. This post office has earned 100% of my distrust and disgust. Ive never experienced so many problems with USPS until now. Im being forced to take more time off work to go find out why they are not holding my mail properly. And, if they DO get their heads screwed on straight and figure out how to hold my mail, then I will have to take MORE time off work to go back to claim the mail during business hours! WORST SERVICE EVER.

The supervisor at this post office is so rude. I was getting my mail and then all a sudden it stopped. Now Im not getting anything! Not even one item of mail. How is that even possible? There is nothing wrong with my address or my forward so where is my mail? Mail is even being returned back to senders and there is nothing wrong with the address they have listed for me. Instead of trying to figure out where my mail is going the supervisor at this location was rude and talked to me as if I was stupid and said that my carrier was delivering my mail. Right, because Im just complaining for fun. If I had my mail then why would I be complaining? She wouldnt apologize and see what she could do to fix the problem at all. She just kept saying shes got such a great carrier. Obviously not since hes not getting my mail to me. I still dont have my mail and still dont know if it will ever be fixed. Probably could be simple if she at least wanted to look into it. Someone down there needs to get off their high horse and realize there is a huge issue going on. Because it looks like Im not the only one this is happening to.

Stood in line for over an hour and a half to submit my passport application. Another day, left work early so both my wife and I could be at the post office to sign my daughters passport. We were in line by 4:15 p.m. The post office closes at 5:30 p.m. For no apparent reason, and without telling anyone in line, the supervisor instructed the workers to stop taking passport applications at 4:30 p.m. I went to the window to ask if there was a separate line for passports (because they dont have it marked -- another customer service failure), and was told that they were no longer taking applications that day. When I then asked what the hours were that they take passport applications, I was told 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. When I pointed out the inconsistency between these statements, they said, "Im sorry, but thats the way it is." Another family was in line behind us to get their kids passport applications submitted. Both of us were turned away, more than an hour before the place closed, with all of three people in line to drop off packages. Service like this is why the USPS is failing.

I have had lots of experiences with this post office and they have all been positive. I just finished talking on the phone with a clerk there who was very informative and helpful. The phone only rang once before she picked up. In the past Ive changed my address twice (with great success both times), mailed out packages and letters both domestically and internationally, and Ive purchased stamps of various kinds. Every time Ive been there the workers have been efficient and courteous. Im surprised by the negative reviews and wonder if perhaps the other reviewers are slightly unreasonable. Either that, or there has been drastic changes made at this post office. Yes, the line can be long during Christmas (etc), but they keep it moving quickly and the building is maintained well so its a pleasant place to be: very large and clean. The different booths are clearly marked and its easy to know youre in the right line if you just use your head like an adult.

The post master Andrea Gunnerson is very rood. She kicked me out of the building in front of everyone in the lobby for asking questions! You never know where the passport line is. They tell you one thing and then another and send you to the back of the line again. They would not listen to suggestions- like to put a sign up so people know where to get in line. Dropping off bulk mail is a nightmare. They make you go to the front and put it on a small 2 sq ft area or wait the entire line. I think Andrea Gunnerson is on a power trip and honestly I felt I was in a third world country under dictatorship, not America. Someone should really take a look at the way things are run at that post office. It must be the worst one I have ever been to, and not just the USA- worldwide. This post office is 2 minutes away from my home but now I go to the post office in the neighboring city in fear of reprisal. What a shame!
