Ive never written a bad review because I like to have an open mind about people and not judge them by one experience. However I had a bad experience at iQue that was disconcerting. Last week my phone (Note 4) would turn on to the Samsung Logo and/or charging symbol but then go blank and turn off again. I did this probably 50 times before I brought it to iQue I brought my phone in Thursday morning and picked it up Thursday after work. When I picked it up they told me the LCD screen was broken and needed to be replaced ($200+). I was confused and asked why the screen would turn on to the logo/charging symbol if the screen was broken. The clerk shrugged and said it hadnt turned on for them. So I pressed the power button expecting the logo like before. The screen stayed dark. This was strange since it worked when I brought it in, which I again asserted. Again the clerk made some excuse, saying the screen was broken and had never worked when I brought it in. This was clearly not true. Next I pulled the back off my phone (it is very simple to do this on a Note 4) to check the battery compartment. Out fell the broken top half of my external SD card. The metal part was still lodged in the slot. The card has sat peacefully in the phone for two years and I pull the back off daily to switch batteries. I told the clerk the memory card was not broken when I brought it in. He made another lame excuse, telling me that I mustve broken it when I took the case off. This honestly would be physically impossible but Im not big on arguing and felt stonewalled on two accounts now: On two accounts, the clerk tried to convince me that my own experience was wrong. That the screen and the memory card, both fine when I brought the phone in, were actually broken by me. I had to leave town that evening and didnt know how I was supposed to rectify the situation so I just left. When I got home I realized that while the screen was black, the phone was clearly on and working now. I could now hear volume up/down etc and feel vibrations when receiving an email. So it seems that they fixed the software issue that was occurring but yet, for unknown reasons, my previously working screen is now broken/unplugged/etc? I have no clue really. All I know is that its a terrible feeling to bring an item into a shop, expect it to get repaired, and get the customer service experience that I received. Update 4/17: Took my phone to another shop. He opened it up and found that the screen was no longer connected. He plugged it back together and the screen worked again, though I still have software problems. I gave him some money but he said I didnt owe him anything. So long story short, iQue somehow unplugged my screen and then told me the screen was broken and expected me to shell out over $200 bucks to repair something that wasnt broken.

I am very disappointed with I Que and their so called waterproofing. We purchased the I Smart Genius Protection package for me. I Que explained that this would prevent water damage to my phone if I should drop it in toilet or if it was exposed to water. They also have a sign on the wall that says "Waterproofing" with pictures and the terms waterproof, dust/sand and moisture below it. According to the dictionary the definition of waterproofing is: "impervious to water; especially : covered or treated with a material (such as a solution of rubber) to prevent permeation by water." I had the waterproofing and tempered glass installed in February 2017. Shortly after my phone started freezing and acting weird. They also installed the tempered glass slightly over my front camera lens, so every picture taken from this angle was blurry. I have a very busy schedule and was unable to take it in immediately. So I ignored this and used the back camera. Recently I attended an event and had my phone in my backpack. It got wet but, because my phone had the waterproofing done I didnt panic. I calmly took my phone out to of my bag to see the screen turning black. Immediately I powered it off and took it to I Que. They told me their waterproofing wasnt guaranteed and they were sorry I was given the wrong impression but they would look at my phone and get back to me in a couple days. I called to check on my phone today and was told they couldnt fix it. That it had water damage. I asked them again how that could happen when I had the waterproofing package. Again they told me that they were sorry I was misinformed but I could buy a used phone from them for $199. I explained my frustration again to be told that they were sorry I was misinformed. If I would have been informed correctly from the beginning that it wasnt guaranteed I would have been more careful. We paid for this plan because we thought it would help protect my phone. Not because I wanted to waste $109 on a waterproof plan with no guarantees only to have to fork out even more money. I should have bought a waterproof case instead.

I dropped my MacBook Pro off last Tuesday to get it repaired. I was told I would be called the next day with a price estimate for repair and that it would be done and ready the following Monday. I received no phone call the next day with a price estimate. Over the next few days, I called AND went into their office to see when Id be able to pick up my computer and how much it was going to cost. They said it would be ready Tuesday at the latest and finally told me what the issue was and what it was going to cost. Tuesday afternoon comes around and Ive heard nothing so I call the store to check on the status of my laptop and they said they need to call the technician and theyll call me back. Two hours passed and I still hadnt heard anything (this had occurred a couple times; Id call and theyd say theyd call back but never did). Finally, today (still Tuesday) I call and state I cant wait any longer. I was told it could be Wednesday or Thursday even though the repair is complete. Apparently, my laptop was at a technicians house in Layton and thats why I hadnt gotten it back yet. Irate, I drove down to their shop and demanded the technicians information so I could pick it up myself. They would not give me any info and sent someone to Layton to pick it up while I waited in their office. Overall, there was NO COMMUNICATION and my date of pick up was PUSHED BACK FARTHER AND FARTHER EVEN THOUGH THE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED. I had to call them or go in to get any information or try to instigate some action. First I was told it would be available 6 DAYS after dropping it off, then 7 DAYS, then 8 TO 9 DAYS. Awful experience. Do not take your Macs here!

These good reviews have to be fake or from friends of the staff. What a scam. First time I came here to get my cracked screen replaced they said they had to order the glass which would take about 3 days. Kind of weird that they dont have anything in stock, ever, for an immediate repair. (Iphone 5) Instead of 3 days it took 3 weeks so I went back and they said they were working on it, even though I was told they order locally so i dont understand how it could possibly take that long. They forgot about me, after I paid. No reimbursement or compensation. It took 40 minutes of them to repair it and when I got it back, the home button was crooked. Whatever. They convinced me the long wait would never happen again and he offered me a free gorilla screen type protector if I bought the two year warranty. They said it would take a couple days to come in and we joked that it wouldnt take three weeks this time. Never received that. I ended up dating a guy later on that fixed phones and he told me whoever repaired my screen broke the home button which is apparently an easy thing to do. Now its all wobbly, spins around, and feels like it could fall out. I moved out of town but next time Im in salt lake I would like to stop in to have them fix it but theyre probably so unprofessional that they dont even keep a record of people that buy the warranty. Not even going to waste my time. Absolute rip off, and poor customer service.
