Jeff is the best manager this Firestone location has ever had. I have been a customer for over 5 years. They go above and beyond to make sure I am satisifed with their service. Over the summer I had a flat tire caused by a screw. I knew Jeff, Amanda, Chris, Josh and their team of professionals would be able to fix it, but I wasnt sure how to get the car there with a flat tire.I called Jeff, presuming I would need to have it towed over. Jeff had a solution. He sent a service technician to my home in Pleasant Grove, a good 15 minutes away from their Orem location. Josh filled my flat tire with air using a portable compressor so I would be able to drive it to their store. He followed me there to be sure I would make it. This is the kind of customer care that one enjoyed in a bygone era of American history. The kind of service one would get from an old time, mom and pop type business. The fact that I have found that same level of care and service in a large corporation such as Firestone still amazes me. I must give all the credit to the fantastic people they employ. Kudos Firestone Orem for hiring such caring and knowledgable professionals. No matter how much advertising they do, or how many specials they run, the service provided by their staff is what will keep individuals like myself coming back.

What a rip off. I thought printing out the coupon March 2012 online special that runs all month long ($99.99 to resurface rotors, inspect brake components, install pads) would be enough to get the special. WRONG. Without even looking at my Toyota I was told that I needed new rotors. which would add $120.00 more. I explained I was not going to pay more than the $99.99 special. He said that my rotors would be too thin to machine. And since they are so badly warped, even if they did machine them, I would be back in two weeks because I would have brake problems. What is so funny, he said all this without even looking at my car. The other thing that is so funny is that he just told me how bad of work that they do. And the last thing that is so funny he forgot he was supposed to look at my car first to start telling me all these things. Since he got things out of order, I could see right through the scam. In the end, they were not interested in doing the brake job if they could not up sale me. So now I know their advertising is just to get you in the door to up sale you, and if they can not do it, go away. Which I did go away. I ended up down the street and it was no problem to machine the rotors, and replace the pads.

A non exhaustive list of exerts from my vehicles owners manual that THIS SPECFIC firestone location has violated: "Never use the differential as a jacking point" "Oil levels above the upper hole or MAX mark may cause engine damage." Due to being rushed, not knowing, or malice this location seems like they are trying to kill my vehicle. Mistakes will happens here just like anywhere else. Automobiles are complicated and there are alot of different makes/models; but what makes this location so poor is that when there is a problem the management (Jeff) is going to drop the ball; and let your time be wasted with no compensation, let the tech add ≈ 40% to much oil, let the techs support the weight of the vehicle on parts that the manufacturer says to "Never" use, redirect their failures as negligence on your part, not honor the prices quoted to you over the phone, and allow your car to leave the shop tuned for a disaster (bad tires on the back of a rear wheel drive vehicle). I have specific details for all of the situations (and unfortunately more) listed above and even pictures for some if someone at management wants to contact me about them (not you Jeff...not you).

I made an appointment to have my tires rotated and a comprehensive inspection done before my road trip from Provo to San Diego. Due to how busy they were, the appointment was for Tuesday, July 11, the day before my departure. During the inspection, they found that one of my tires had a nail in it and would have to be replaced. I was very frustrated about the situation and timing of this discovery and was afraid I would not be able to leave today for my trip. However, the supervisor who helped me was very quick to action. He was able to find a replacement tire and had it shipped overnight to the Orem location. I went in today to have the tire replaced and despite their heavy schedule, they had it done within an hour and a half! I was amazed and very grateful for their promptness in helping me. I was helped by two supervisors, one of whom was named Larry. I am regretful for not getting the other supervisors name. Regardless, both were very helpful, prompt, and were involved with every customer waiting on service while keeping me updated on the status of my repair. Thank you again to the supervisors and employees at Firestone in Orem for helping me get on the road!

Very fast friendly service. Got both of our vehicles in at the same time without calling ahead to schedule an appointment, it was about 1pm on a very snowy saturday. One car needed 4 new tires, the other needed an uber inspection. We walked to the wendys next door to eat while our cars were being worked on. They finished the uber inspection super fast, and had new tires on our car within an hour. They were very friendly and explained every charge completely and didnt charge us for anything before we approved it. After we were done, we took one car to get its safety and emissions done. 3 things failed the test, so we took the car back in to firestone. The gentleman there took one look at the sheet that listed what failed and asked if we replaced the battery recently. We had replaced it that morning. He explained that we just need to drive the car to give it time to reset those things and then itd pass just fine. We were super impressed that they would just tell us this instead of doing a bunch of tests to charge us money. Thanks for being honest and helpful guys and gals! :D

I took my truck into this location based on a referral from a friend. I walked into the location and right away things were off to a bad start. The mechanic and the manager were arguing about a car and what work needs done. Took about a half an hour to get my car inspected and when they were finished they claimed it needed about $500 in repairs as the check engine light was on. They gave no options other then either throwing parts at it or running smoke tests to find a "leak" in the gas system. I asked them to clear the system and Ill drive it for a few days to get an accurate reading on the system as the car had been sitting for 2 years and was probably a mistake. They said that would not fix the system and the highly suggested there solutions. I took my car to another shop and they did what I suggested and it passed inspection with flying colors. I will never go back to this location as all they wanted was my money and not my business. Not well educated nor willing to work with you.
