Came here to get the emissions test done on my car which took about 15 minutes. The dude asked if I wanted to go ahead and get the on the spot renewal done once the test was done. I said yeah thatd be great. I checked out and they told me my total was $36. I asked "$36 for just the emissions test?" He said the test was $25 and the renewal (which you can do online yourself and can be done literally in under 30 seconds) he charged $11 for. We both knew it was a very simple task and he made it sound like a courtesy. It felt deceptive to me that he wasnt upfront about it being a service they charge for. I can get over the eleven dollars, but if theres one thing I cant handle in a car mechanic its deception. UPDATE 8/9/16: Owner contacted me and felt bad his employee didnt mention the charge. He offered a refund (Id have to go back in with my card) or he could post a credit to my account which is the option I chose. I appreciate their integrity to seek to make things right. UPDATE 11/2/16: During our phone conversation you feigned courtesy and I thanked you for your integrity. Now more than two months after the fact, you come on here and pick a fight about me not knowing your employees name? My review was fair and reflected my experience with your company. At this point, its your word against mine about what Travis said (or rather did not say). Im sticking to my original story in which I was surprised by the total and he THEN clarified that your company charges for the service. Please dont deceive people into thinking their only other option is to wait in line at the DMV. Again, it can be done online. Very simply. At this point, redeeming $11 credit isnt worth it to me to do business with you. Protip for future customer relations: show some humility and accountability. Would it have killed you to say "I apologize that this was your experience with us. We strive to be consistent in explaining services that we charge for, but we are human and its possible that in this instance it didnt happen. We valued you as a customer and trust that youre not out to get us over $11. You certainly arent crazy for taking issue when you felt you havent been treated fairly. Thanks for bringing this to our attention so we can improve in this area".

This will be my shop for the remainder of my time in Utah County. Not only are the staff friendly and well trained, they reflected genuine care for me and my car. Ive been to this shop over 4 times now and have found their work very honest and surprisingly fast. This last trip I had them repair quite a lot on my car (oil change, worn hoses, brake flush, brake pads and rotors, as well as realigning the wheels) -all stuff I knew I needed to have done on my car and really wanted to do if the price was right. I asked him to give me a quote on all of it and was very surprised to see how affordable and accommodating they were. I also brought up that my serpentine belt had been squealing since I replaced it myself and was likely just loose. Craig said theyd take a look tighten it for me no charge necessary. Since the repairs were estimated to take a couple hours he also recommended I use their courtesy car that they lend out to customers like me FREE OF CHARGE! I only had to bring it back with a full tank! I took him up on the offer and was still able to do the other errands I wanted to do that day. In the end, not only did they get it all done faster than estimated but briefly washed it too! These guys have proved to me that they go above and beyond to satisfy the customer. Id give them TEN stars if I could! Reading through the reviews I stumbled upon a lot of negatives and let me say, going to the shop myself was a more than satisfactory experience. Im amazed at how polarized peoples perspectives of this shop are. I see too that this shop take great effort to check their reviews and make amends where they can. This is an honest and affordable shop that I would recommend to anyone. My only recommendation for the shop, and only after reading some of the shops review responses is be a bit more apologetic and empathetic to the customers who feel theyve been wronged. Oftentimes they dont need to know how or what things went wrong, but instead just want it righted. Remember too, that the customer is always right, even when theyre wrong sometimes. Its hard to be a service oriented business and make everyone happy, but keep it up! Youve made this one happy!

This place used to be a lot better... I have taken three different vehicles there over the course of a few years and the first two times were wonderful experiences. For having to spend money on my car, I really didnt mind spending it there. Then the last time I went, I had a terrible experience. First of all, I am pretty sure the management changed, which is probably why this happened. There was a rattle I heard in my car, so I asked them to look at it. I came back when they said it would be ready, and lo and behold, it was not. It was exactly where I parked it. So when I tell them that I was expecting it to be done and I have things to do, they park it in the garage. Whatever they did to it in there took about an hour, and then I saw one of the techs driving away with it. Apparently that was a test drive, according to the guy at the desk. THIRTY MINUTES LATER the guy shows up, parks it in the lot, and walks right into the front office holding a large soda from Sonic. I watched this guy get into my car without a Sonic cup, and I know there wasnt one in there already. So his 30 minute test drive was apparently his lunch break. When I confronted the man at the desk about how wrong it was for them to take an hour and a half longer than they said and that this clown used my car to go get a burger or something, he straight-faced told me, "okay, I understand...." and nothing else. Then after me trying to explain how ridiculous this experience was, his wife or GF came to his rescue and got all snappy with me, "if you dont like our service, you dont have to come here, our techs are very professional, I will talk with them, but I doubt that really happened blah blah blah..." idiotic management encouraging crappy service. This place is a scam, and I will recommend to all my friends to never go there. You lost a loyal customer due to your rudeness, exceptional ability to waste my time, and general lack of caring about how your business is perceived. Also, hundreds of dollars later, and you didnt fix a dang thing.

I called the prior day to set an appointment. When I came in the following morning the guy was friendly. I explained to him what I thought the problem was. When they finished the diagnostic, he brought me out there. I told him I thought it was either the thermostat or the fan clutch. He showed me the the fan and said " do you see how it is wobbly?" I was given this reason for why my vehicle was overheating. However, Originally though I told them that I was coming in because my check engine light was on and I wanted to see what was going on. When we went to process the work order, he was extremely pushy. Trying to get me to purchase additional services when my car did not need them. The part that bothered me was When I told him the price range I was wanting to stay in. He quoted me almost 600 for what shouldnt have been no more than a 250 repair cost with labor. When I came to pick up I paid almost 300. The parts should not have cost that much. The labor cost was just ridiculous. When I came back to pick the vehicle up, they had not even checked the check engine light. I paid my bill, did not receive a copy of the work order. I live in Lehi and decided to take my car there because I trusted them. When I called to ask about the check engine light, they told me that they had done no diagnostics. I was told to just bring my car in on another day. Now, I work in Salt Lake and live in Lehi. I can do my own mechanics but bring the car their because I lack the time and tools to do the repair myself. I am giving it a 2 because I thought that the loaner car service wasnt to bad. However, because of the negligence, pushyness, lack of general description ( see this is wiggling) is not what I am looking for when explaining why something needs to be replaced! I will no longer do any business here. I will also make sure to express my concerns to the veterans community my neighbors and the Native American community I am involved with. We need people we can trust, not people who just look at us like dollar signs
