My experience at AAA - Chandler Auto Repair was the worst nightmare ever. We were towed to this facility by AAA towing because we were told there was a discount for AAA members. They had the car three days longer than expected and we were told they would pay the rental car for the three additional days, but when we presented the bill from the Hertz rental (which, by the way, is affiliated with AAA) we were told we went to the wrong one and they only discounted our repair bill $90 when the rental car bill was almost $300. We had to take it in again because the car was vibrating but were told they could not identify the same conditions that we reported. The car was a Honda, so we took the still-vibrating car to Honda where they could see a broken motor mount that should have been repaired at our initial visit to AAA. It cost $400 to fix what AAA should have fixed on our original visit, but AAA would not pay for Honda to fix the car. They instead offered us that if we would bring it back they would fix it. I refused to take the car back - who could blame me for not wanting additional contact with them. I have been a member of AAA since 2000 and have used them many times for car repair, travel and I even bought my new car through them. I will never use AAA again and will not be renewing my membership. Shame on you AAA for having such a place affiliated with your name. In the office there is a sign that says On time, One time, Honest, Courteous Service. I did not get any of those things at this location.

I brought my Ford F150 in for a rough idle issue. I mentioned to the service writer at this Chandler location that I had previously gone to their Mesa location for service work. I asked that he look at the work that was performed in Mesa but he said he couldnt due to their computer systems dont communicate. He said he could call them if needed. After the diagnosis, he called me and said the truck had a bad fuel injector and would cost around $460 for the repair. He also said after inspecting one of the spark plugs, I needed to replace all of them for a charge of $660. And I needed to replace the air filter for a charge of $32. Couple things: He never called the Mesa location to find out what they did. I mentioned to him that I believed all my plugs were replaced about a year and a half ago and I later confirmed it with a receipt. They did not need replacing. Secondly, he told me the computer systems between the Mesa location and his location (Chandler) dont communicate. Not good for consistency if I wanted to go to different locations, as I experienced here. If I wasnt diligent in my efforts, I would have paid $660 for the plugs to be replaced which didnt need it. I have been a member of AAA for many years and because of their good reputation in other facets of their business, I thought I would try their auto service. Now Im not so sure.......

I have been a AAA member since 1966 and "back in the day" we did not have AAA owned and operated facilities to service our autos. There were AAA approved shops, and still are, but having used both in Mesa, I definitely recommend the AAA owned and operated shops. I have used Mesa since they opened, but find that the new East Chandler location is more convenient for me. I started with a phone appointment with Rob Jensen who was courteous, and accommodating to my date & time request. Turns out that Rob is an Army veteran, who served in Germany and the Far East at areas near where I served while in the Air Force. The car I own was purchased through AAA car buying, and I am very pleased with the deal and the car performance. It has only been serviced by AAA mechanics and sails through their inspections with minimal maintenance needs. They were timely and efficient, and I will definitely continue to contact Rob for all of my future automotive needs. It was a pleasure to do business with this clean and efficient facility. AAA Rocks!

While in Chandler, Arizona, I found that the right side headlight of my car had a possible burned out bulb. I was faced with the drive home to Tucson, at night, on Interstate 10 with only one headlight. I began looking for an auto repair shop, when I saw the AAA Auto Repair sign on Arizona Ave. in Chandler. I contacted Keath Allen the Service Advisor and explained the problem with my car and the need to have both headlights working when driving home on Interstate 10 to Tucson at night, which he completely agree with. Keath confirmed that the right bulb for my car was in stock. I also had the left headlight bulb replaced and within 20 minutes I was on my way. I appreciate Keath Allens courtesy and response to my situation.

Took my Lexus in for a alternator repair that another local shop botched. spoke with Mark a AAA very polite and up front with the parts and labor estimates, I have been a service writer for more that 32 years (now retired) so I do know a few things about what service should be. This AAA shop in Chandler I would highly recommend and will be using them when my repair needs are required. There was a parts (bracket) delay the part had to be special ordered from Lexus, the previous shop never put it back on, and Mark kept me up to date every day. Great job guys!!!!

Being a AAA member, I decided to try them out for my next oil change, filter, etc. I was very impressed with the professional service I received. I will definitly be back for this service. While waiting I could hear the office help talking to customers on the phone, and they were very knowledgeable and polite. Hopefully I wont break down on the road, but if I do, this is where I will have it towed! P.S. this the first time in years that I havent been up-sold for filters, maintenance, etc. I really appreciated this! Jack Johnsen, Sun Lakes

I love this place. Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and helpful and they will take the time to answer all of my questions and explain everything to me. I dont really know or understand very much about the "inner workings" of cars, so its a pleasure to deal with an auto repair shop that is patient and understanding when I need a little extra explanation. They are very honest and reliable and have never tried to push extra repairs on me like some other repair shops have done. I highly recommend this AAA Auto Repair.

Please do not take car at this AAA location. I do not think this location is owned by AAA. 1. No courtesy van was offered. 2. Repair was not done proper. 3. Never called to inform - You must follow up. 4. Short staff 5. Do not fall for trick on up sale. 6. Staff is rude - I was kicked out sharp at 6 pm (Closing time) in 110 degree temp while my ride was 2 minutes away. 7. Will not go back.
