We rented a unit when we decided to get our house ready to sell. Everything was fine and when we moved and were between houses, we rented a larger unit to store what wouldnt fit in the apartment. They charged us a lot more after the first 6 months had passed and really charged us a lot on the two units for 2 months. We were not sure when we could move into our brand new home until the end of the month and were not sure we could actually get out of both units by the 31st. We did and the next morning (Sept.1) I called and left a message that we were out of both units and to please call me if there was a problem. No call. My husband went there that morning to sweep out the units and was still there after the office should have opened. Tried to tell them that morning we were out but no one was there even though it was after 9:30. The next day we received a bill for $3.68 (no one has told us what that was for) that my husband stopped by on the third to pay. He told Stacey, the manager, that we were totally out. She hardly acknowledged him, but did not dispute that. On the 8th, I received an email that we were late paying on the biggest unit and owed them $182 for it. I called and talked to Connie who told me we had left a lock on the unit. I asked her why she had not called me on the 1st or why Stacey had not told my husband on the 3rd and she said that they were "busy." We had the lock off later that day. Had she called me on the 1st, I would have had the lock off within an hour or two. They have now sent us to collections for a problem that could have been easily solved and that we had no idea existed. This has left us angry and feeling like they purposely are trying to cheat us. Do not go to Public Storage.

All of these "5 star" ratings are bogus. We rented a unit back in November of 2015. We went there to get my golf clubs for the season only to find that we had been robbed. THEY HAVE NO CAMERAS FOR ANY UNITS, AISLES OR LANES. One camera on the main gate to monitor traffic. This is nothing new to the staff. Upon being informed of the theft, Stacey was not shocked and asked no questions about any time, date or types of items missing. She merely informed us that we could call the police and that we had no insurance They are fully aware of the theft problems, however do not inform you when renting. I estimate that the items stolen from me were too large to throw over the wall so this was someone with the gate code. That tells me it is someone who is a current occupant, staff member(s) or both. Another curious item is that EVERY lock in this place has a "public storage" sticker on. Stacey says that they place these only on locks bought from the office. So, everyone who rents at public storage buys their locks from the office? Highly unlikely. I believe the staff at public storage are complicit in these activities.

I went to rent a unit here. The lady, Stacy, said that I had a fake id and that it didnt look like me and she didnt think it was real. I said I was going to call the police and clear it all up and then she said she would rent to me. it was really frustrating and embarrassing to be treated like a criminal to try to get a storage unit. I didnt like the unit that she showed me. I asked her for a different unit and she said no, this is the only one they will rent me. I didnt like it because it had 2 small doors instead of 1 big one. she said they have other ones but it would be too hard to change it. I decided to rent it because I had already wasted over a hour of my time and didnt have time to go somewhere else. plus they dont have any security cameras on the property.

I really like the security of the storage units, knowing that all my things are safe makes it easier to sleep at night!!! The manager Connie, provided me with exceptional customer service, by that I mean she handled everything in a great manner, we had a pretty bossy customer in there trying to but in the middle of Connies scheduled appointments (mine and anothers), he was being very pushy about getting his way she did a great job at explaining her priorities to her customers & assured the customer hed be taken care of once her appointments were taken care of, he wasnt happy but like I said she made it right by doing whats right, FIRST!!! I would recommend your storage units to friends and family in the future for sure!!!

I signed up for the dollar special unit online today. Stacy called me and left me a message about the unit, that I couldnt get one because my roommate has a unit there already and it has the same address. I called customer service and spoke with Kathy who said that we would have to talk to the district manager to get one because of the same address. I asked to talk to a manager and she hung up on me. I will take my business elsewhere, since they are higher in price anyway and the facility doesnt have security cameras on property. I would advise to go somewhere else. It was a bad experience and I can tell they dont want my business anyway.

They just changed the hours to "increase security" (btw there is already a gate with an entry code, try putting up more cameras instead). Hours are now Mon-Fri 9:30am to 6:00pm and Sat-Sun 9:30am to 5:00pm. How in the hell do they expect people who work for a living to ever access their stuff! I will be changing storage companies as soon as possible! Also, doors are extremely difficult to open and shut, the sliding handle is rusted and barely moves. The front gate has a hard time opening and will sometimes stop in the middle until I enter my code again to force it open.

Connie was great to work with and very helpful! Unfortunately, a few months in, someone broke into my unit and stole my bike along with some irreplaceable pictures and other valuables. Even though I paid monthly insurance on int, I was unable to get money from the company to replace my bike because this storage unit doesnt have a camera on the units themselves so they refused to see my case assuming I just forgot to put my lock on. Really disappointing and Ill never use them again.

I went to public storage i west valley cause I am an asst scout leader and i need some storage for all my scouting and camping stuff. Connie was very understanding and was very helpful and got me a unit really close to the front which is very appreciative cause I was worried I would end up in a hallway and some of my stuff would be a hassle to get in and out. I would recommend this location to other people because of the great service I received. THANKS AGAIN CONNIE!

Used this location for storage for 5 years and never had any problems. Office staff was always helpful with any maintaince problems and friendly when we foolishly couldnt remember our code. Upon leaving, Stacy was incredibly Friendly and helpful, making leaving as carefree as using the facility had been. Would recommend for anyone needing storage in the area.
