........ THE ROOF LEAKS! ..THE FLOOR FLOODS! ...Good luck... I regret that I must change my previous Five-Star EXCELLENT Review to a One-Star BAD Review. I have not entered my 10 x 20 unit in a couple of months, and this January evening went in to discover that the snow-covered roof has leaked in several places on my stored stuff. And not just a few drops, since a plastic tub cover had a puddle in it, and other items had water splashes. In addition, a full one-third of the 10 x 20 floor was wet and icy (not just "damp", but wet). Im wondering if the snow accumulation against the doors is cleared away very regularly or thoroughly, since it melted and went directly under the garage door and into my unit. I guess there was nowhere else for the meltwater to go, but clearly there is no protective slope built into the cement floor. Fortunately, I have most of my valuable items up on plastic shelving, but I can see a lot of cardboard boxes of technical and finance books now have wet bases. Plus, various U-Haul Moving and Storage Boxes (in good condition) throughout the unit have that soft, spongy feel that cardboard gets in humid conditions. I hope some various cameras, strobes and electronics are not affected. I will quickly need to buy plastic drop cloths to cover everything, but even covered, will the humid dampness cause things to rust? I fully understand that I am NOT paying for a climate controlled unit, but I thought these units would at least be water controlled. I did inform the person at the front desk, who explained that they have never had a leaky roof complaint for that unit, offered to let me move my stuff to another space, and provided me the insurance claim form. It is true that I would like to move my stuff, but not to another unit in this Public Storage location. ------ BELOW IS PREVIOUS REVIEW FROM 4 MTHS AGO ------------ Ive used various storage units for over 20 years, and what matters most for me is how well the property is maintained, and the safety of the facility, especially the security of my stored items. Bottom Line: Henry and his family live on the premises! That means a lot to me, to know that someone is always there, keeping an eye on the property. Plus, I see Henry constantly working, whether in the office, or walking the property keeping things clean and well maintained. Thank you, Henry! I appreciate what you do.

We have had a one of the large storage units at Public Storage ever since our Fraudulent Foreclosure in 2010!!!!!. Seven years people!!!!! After owning 4 homes, our last home proved fatal and our Mortgage Company drop a bomb on us! It was only with the help of outstanding folks like Attorneys Durham Pinegar and Jones did we win our case. Thank you DPJ!!! Equally outstanding is Margaret at PUBLIC STORAGE. WE HAVE GONE TO OUR STORAGE UNIT NOT ONCE BUT FOUR TIMES to retreive a dining room table. Each time to no avail. And of course, I have put the blame for this on our Manager Margaret that just takes my frustration like a CHAMP!. NO WONDER SHES A MANAGER. MARGARET KNOWS HOW TO HANDLE PEOPLE. She has been kind and respectful even though every time I cant get in, the fault has been mine. Either I lost my keys that were just issued me, I didnt pay my bill promptly or some other reason but it was my fault. But every time she has remained calm, considerate and respectful. Ive called with frustration to make my voice heard several times. Ive remained respectful but my frustration has been noted from Margaret i am certain yet she is a true respector of the Company she works for. This is a RARITY THESE DAYS. Each time Ive been happy to apologize to Margaret for my poor behavior. As well she graciously accepts it. And to boot she made me feel better by telling me she herself lost her own keys. ANY COMPANY WOULD DO "WELL" TO HAVE HER IN THEIR EMPLOY. Speaking as a previous Manager and Head Nurse of a Lucritive Medical Practice in Salt Lake City, I would hire Margaret in any capacity in a heart beat! GIVE THIS WOMAN A RAISE!!!! Show her you appreciate her!!! Margaret, I know I may have still your hand in thanks but this is a HEART FELT THANK YOU FROM MINE TO YOURS FOR GETTING OUR STORAGE UNIT OPEN SO PROMPTLY! I have been with this site as a customer since before Public Storage took over the property. I have seen bad management and I have seen good management. For the most part it has been good management for the past several years including the current property manager. He is always friendly and professional when I am at the property site and he has always been there on site when I have needed him. I have had a problem in the past with management not being on the site and not returning when they have indicated a returning time. The current manager has always been there when I have arrived on site and needed to talk with them. Over all I have been satisfied with the service provided.

Great storage place! Our only complaint was that they didnt have any smaller units available, only mid size units, but it definitely wasnt a big deal, just means theyre getting business. The hours are good and the place doesnt close too early, like the place down the street. The customer service was the best part. The person who helped us was Margaret, and she was awesome!! She was really funny and easy to talk to, and very honest and detailed about the unit renting process. I hope if you go, its when shes working. :) I would definitely recommend renting here to a friend, and well probably come here if we need to rent another unit in the future and were still nearby.

We had to move with very short notice. The intra net allowed me to get this reserved on the computer with little difficulty. The staff was very friendly and helpful to schedule an appointment so that I could tour/inspect the property. Monica was so friendly and made you feel very welcomed when I met her for the appt. The next day, Chuck, came by as we was completing our moving and introduced himself. He was very informative and also made us feel very welcomed. It is a good feeling to know that our property that we have worked hard for will be safe and in good hands. You have excellent customer service and it is nice to experience this.

Watch Out for Sergeant Storage!!! They raised the rates for no reason. HENRY is the biggest jerk I have ever met, full of threats and COMPLETELY unhelpful. He threatened to call he police after feeling "insulted"...because thats what police are for. Had the trash dumpster locked up tight so no one could use it. Wouldnt let my husband take our items even though he the gate code AND the unit was unlocked. He cost us HUNDREDS of dollars doing this as we were not able to sell those items. I have NEVER had such a difficult time dealing with a wannabe cop or whatever he is. Your the Storage Guy, Storage Guy. GET OVER YOURSELF.
