Great experience! I couldnt have picked a better place to store my belongings but also receive exceptional customer care/service.From the front desk and following a proper walk thru of the unit(s) shown to me I felt very comfortable and SAFE to store my things by observing the up to date security monitoring system (which looks great at front desk btw) and knowing that there is more than 1 receptionist available at the location.Smiling faces are always very important when walking in to a new place and here I def received the warm welcoming. Let me include the names of the ppl that gave me such care towards my visit:Gordon,Beigie and Amanda, thank you guys! I hope this new location is of great use for others and you can receive the same service I did.BTW check out their online specials and if u cant find what u need at a good rate CALL the front desk and they will walk you thru the website to find a good deal. Beigie helped me find my unit for $1 first month even when I couldnt find that deal for the size unit I wanted he found one! Clean environment also.Hope this helps new customers.

Horrible! There was a huge condensation problem with the unit I rented. This turned into a mold issue on my belongings within a month. Were talking visible water everywhere and black mold all over. The manager was unapologetic, and referred me to make an insurance claim for damages. One of the employees let it go that this is an ongoing problem that they know about, and after more inspection it appears that the wall was painted over. No wonder the strong smell of bleach. No refunds, even though they knowingly rented me a unit that would result in damage to my property. On top of this, when measured the unit was around 17% smaller than the advertised size I know the fine print says In any other industry this would be considered fraud. Given that Public Storage is a REIT, and has a habit of buying out storage places and the service level going down, I would not be surprised if the large number of positive reviews on here are from a reputation management company hired to write good reviews.

I rented a small 5x5 storage unit from Beigie last weekend. He was very helpful. The unit was clean, well lit and well-kept. The only reason why I didnt give Public Storage 5 stars is because I felt pressure to buy a new lock from Beigie even though I already had a heavy duty Master padlock that I used at another storage facility in the past. It was hard to get him to say that I wasnt actually required to buy a lock from Public Storage. I had to ask several times in several different ways to clarify. Then I was told that I was required to buy a specific insurance policy with my unit. I dont believe it is legal to tell someone what insurance company they have to choose while at the same time requiring them to sign something that says that Public Storage is outside of the deal between the customer and the insurance company. Other than that, so far it has been a great experience and I would use Public Storage again.

Mr. Beigie started our appointment with a thorough overview of the property and explained the various unit types, confirmed my needs and availability. Subsequently, we viewed the unit to be rented. The building and the unit (climate controlled) were both well maintained. No access clutter or housekeeping irregularities found. He reviewed the security and daily monitoring processes. Heavy duty key locks are provided (at cost) from Public Storage (PS). He then took time to review and explain (as needed) the rental agreement. Insurance is required. If you have homeowners or renters insurance and you are storing household contents check with your agent/company to confirm whether your insurance will extend to items stored and confirmed the amount (limit) covered. Good job to PS for hiring Mr. Beigie, a conscientious professional staff member

I visited the site, Dec 3, Beigie showed me several sites, answered all my questions. I was going to try to get back that nite but my husband got home too late to discuss. I went the very next morning and had to wait while Beigie waited on an elderly gentleman that was having a hard time understading answers to his questions. What I observed and admired is how gentle, patience and professional Beigie was with this customer, he didnt rush him because I was waiting, but did acknowledge my present. I was impressed with him the nite before and thats why I came back. I visited a lot of locations, all pretty similar in price & security, however Beigies customer service blew me away, which other places services were lacking. He explained every part of the contract, answered all my questions and thats why I am now renting from you

I located the Public storage at stone road in Centreville, Va. online. And since it was the most convenient facility to store my household furniture I called and spoke to Mr Beigie. He was courteous and extremely helpful in explaining the rental process. After seeing the unit available Mr Beigie helped with the paperwork and clearly explained my ongoing responsibility with the rental and the facility. He made it very easy and made the experience very pleasant. I would highly recommend this well organized facility to any of my friends. B. Brandt

We needed storage to prepare our house for sale prior to moving out of state. Beigie helped us find the right unit to begin with and over the ensuing year made it easy and convenient to add other units. We ultimately rented 3 progressively larger units here, based on convenience of location and to a great extent the excellent customer service provided by Beigie. He made our ultimate move out easy and pleasant. We highly recommend this location for your storage needs.

The representive who helped me today was Beigie. Today I got a second storage unit. Beigie walked me through the contracts & prices. He explained everything very clearly. He was polite, professional, and very friendly. He has assisted me in the past with the first unit and has always been so helpful. I use this public storage facility because it is so close to my house. I am impressed with the facilities. Everything is clean, orderly and safe.

Today I stopped by this location to speak with someone about replacing my lock (I lost my key). I spoke with Beigie who was incredibly helpful. He was very pleasant and walked me through what I needed to do to fix the problem. Within minutes of leaving, Beigie was already calling to inform me that he had talked to the general manager and that my unit would be fixed with a new lock by Friday. His efficiency and smile were greatly appreciated!

Update: I just dealt with Beigie again and I have to say that Id love to have him working for my company (he refused to jump ship). He was very professional and represents public storage as an ambassador. Top notch service again. Previous review: I had a small issue today and Beige was an awesome help. He and other staff always have a smile and are happy to answer questions or point me in the right direction. Great service.
