I called JLK Inc and got an estimate for replacing the coil in my inside air handler. When JLK Inc arrived at my home they said it would be a different price than quote that was more than double. Jlks reason was the replacement of the dryer caused the increase in price. I declined their service but was charge $130 for their guy to drive out to my home, and never lifting a tool. They charged my credit card that they had on file (which they requested in advance) without EVER telling me there would be a charge! They would not work with me on the charge, I understand maybe a $50 charge but Not what they charged. BTW I had the work done by a licensed HVAC guy for $200 less than JLK INC original quote, which is $1000 less than their inflated quote. Also this New HVAC guy said it was a manufacture recommendation on the dryer so JLK should have known.

The service folks were very good. I had an issue with being charged for 2 people to do a 1 person job and the owner "Curley" was terrible with returning my calls and very unresponsive. I had to physically go to the place of business 3 times to get a mediocre result from the owner...total time to get resolved was over 3 weeks. I would not do business with them again.

Joe was extremely pleasant to work with. He came to our home to do an estimate very quickly, was very reasonable with his recommendations and was $1k less than a larger company. He was a very honest person to work with and passed along savings he got from the company that made our unit. Would definitely work with him again!
