My Toshiba laptop had issues so I took it to Computer Medics of NOVA on 11/5/2012. It was having problems staying powered on, and I was assured it was a simple power jack repair, that wouldnt take long. I made it very clear to them that I was a college student, who had finals coming up at the end of the month, and I would need my computer back as promptly as possible. Even offering to pay for expedited shippings & costs. A week goes by, and I call to check on my laptop, and the person answering the phone, said that they couldnt even find it. I get a call back about an hour later, saying it was found & the work would be completed ASAP. I called back after it had on the 17th after it had been there for two weeks only to get every possible runaround excuse known to consumer-kind: were really busy & we havent gotten to it yet; it needs a part & we ordered it but it hasnt come in yet; we forgot to order the part but I ordered it today; we ordered the wrong part so we have to order it again; we were wrong about what was wrong with it so we have to order another part; itll be ready next week; sorry, but I know we said it would be ready next week but its not ready & were not sure when it will be; ad nauseam. This went on for WEEKS... The laptop was finally ready this week, right before christmas.... Thats almost 2 months. What a joke. Im reporting this place to the Better Business Bureau. Im telling you: AVOID this place at all costs. You could probably fix your own computer with no experience whatsoever & do a better job than this rip-off joint.

Computer Medics of Northern Virginia is the best place to get your computer fix. I had a problem concerning my laptop, it kept redirecting my links on Google. I tried fixing the problem myself, but ended up getting a blue screen every time I boot the system up. I came in one day and asked if they could fix it. Within 24 hours, literally, they had fixed the problem. They were extremely polite and very fast, unlike Encore Tech, which was the first place I had brought my laptop to. Encore Tech down the road made me wait for 7 days, until finally I asked how my computer was doing, they said it was just sitting here and that itll take a few more days. Three days later I called and they said just a few MORE days. Finally I arrive and the technician there said it was done. When I booted up my laptop, it still had the blue screen. DO NOT go to Encore Tech, go to Computer Medics. Obviously my review alone isnt enough, check out Encore Techs reviews and Computer Medics reviews and compare for yourself.

Absolutely horrible!!! Dropped my laptop off on Monday for my screen to be repaired and they said 1-3 days at first, then after not hearing anything from anyone after 3 days I called back and they said youre screen is ordered it wont take much longer a day or so. 3 more days past with NO word from them at all them we called and said we wanted the computer back because it had been over a week by this point and no one was keeping us up on what was going on. the guy then got an attitude and said it would be done by wed, so we decided to see and sure enough it wasnt!! I have no clue what these ppl where doing with my laptop but for there sake I hope nothing illegal!! Well good luck if u decide to go with them, because I initially did because of the great reviews. Wish I hadnt now.

I suffered a major hard disk failure on my Windows 7 PC desktop (double head crash). Although I had several system image backups, none of them proved useful in my attempts to recover my PC. I then took my PC to another computer repair shop which wasnt able to help, although they tried very hard. However, the techs at Computer Medic, through their persistent efforts were able to diagnose and then unravel a series of rather vicious bugs/flaws that apparently plague the Windows 7 system recovery process and cause system image problems when everyone else was stumped on what to do. Computer Medics fully recovered my PC successfully I am very happy to say at an extremely reasonable price. I very highly recommend Computer Medics to anyone who has a problem with their PC.

More exceptional service with these guys! In at 3:30 done by 5:30 - what a life saver. Showed internet connection strong but would not connect. Browser problems, fixed and another happy customer. They have been servicing my computers since 2006 - highly recommend. // 2016 Installed a new hard drive and restored all my info - little down time - great service and great price!! Terrible service and response time. Took a computer in for DC Jack took them 3 weeks cause they said they had to send it to richmond. Paid for the repair of $185 took it home and the same problem is there. I took it back they said that they did it and would have to charge again to fix it again. They do not offer a warranty on the work they do. FORGET THIS PLACE AND NEVER GO HERE IF YOU NEED ANYTHING FIXED.

Brian is EPIC, Any time I have an issue he goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I understand what is wrong with my computer. If somthing needs to be fixed the techs do their best to show me all the options before making the final desition. They help me weigh all the options I have and help me pick the best one based on my piorities not theirs. Thanks guys, -Aric

Excellent work by an outstanding team. A computer I shipped to my daughter had issues. Im in Minnesota, an not able to help fix it, so I contacted Computer Medics. They went above and beyond to get the computer back up and running. Best service I could have hoped for. They kept me updated during the process and were wonderful to work with.

I wasnt sure what to do when my Dell Inspiring 15.6, was hijacked by an India company. They claimed to be from Dell and indicated an upgraded was required. Fortunately, Compute Medic came to the rescue. Computer Medics, were aware of problems plaqued with this particular Dell n India scams. They had me up and running quickly.
