Potomac Computer Services is the resource you want to be able to reach when your computer is not cooperating, or when you are getting messages you dont understand, so on and so on. He has helped me as far as expanding the memory on my 10 year old computer - walking me through the process so I can keep my costs in check and still have my computer functioning at maximum capacity. He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and compassionate with the frustrations we all face as far as technology is concerned. He has revamped my computer to make it work for me. He has also worked during my downtime so it doesnt interrupt my needs as far as computer usage. Thorough and Fast. I was in a complete panic, my laptop got a virus and I couldnt do anything. I contacted Dell and they wanted me to just wipe my hard drive clean and lose everything! I contacted Potomac Computer Services and just talking them to the problem over the phone (trying many different ways to get into the computer), they were able to trick the virus and get into the computer remotely. I didnt have to stay on the line, I went to sleep and when I woke up the next morning, my 5+ year old laptop was working better than ever. Great service and very reassuring to have them local (even though my problem was handled online!).

Business computers running better than ever...Our dental office has about 28 computers. Potomac Computer Services was recommended by another dental office and it was time for a change. The company was able to improve the function and speed of all our computers. PCS tried to work within our budget and with our existing equipment. Many of the computers were dated. Efficiency is very important to us because we are a chartless and digital xray office. A new server was installed to replace the old one and everything went smoothly. Their knowledge is impressive.

Very helpful and willing to explain things. My computer is older and has a lot of "junk" on it, and Stuart explained what was useful or necessary, and what wasnt. He also took time to understand what we want out of it, and what we dont need/use. He definitely fixed several problems, and followed up afterwards to ensure everything was still working well. Would strongly recommend them.

Fast, friendly, reliable and very helpful with much good advice. I changed the hard drive in my old computer and got stuck reinstalling the software. I panicked and went the Staples, a mistake!
