Everything was smooth (only a minor hiccup of having to pay one month late) until today. Two weeks ago *literally* we gave our notice our vacating the storage unit. We were told that we would need to have everything out by January 14th at 6 pm. Today (January 13th) my husband went to load up the car and noticed we were locked out. When he was talking to the lady and guy they said that it was actually 6 pm on January 12th and we had already been locked out. The two employees there were absolutely rude and would not even provide the phone number to the OWNER. When requested they just read off their phone number. They also refused to call him/her themselves. So I have to pay them $90 that I need to pay my car and now that will be a late payment. They refuse to "prorate" the amount for the couple of hours it would be to remove our items. I plan on reporting this to the BBB and any other place that I can. Ps. When I told my mom about this she said the same thing happened to my dad many years ago (same employees work there from what Ive heard). These people are crooks trying to get every dime they can so my advice is do not do business with them or...dont provide notice. Just get your stuff out before your next due date.

Originally rented a 10 x10 by Renee and was very happy with your service but did not need that big a unit...so i went up to talk about down sizing and meet the manager..to be honest...she was very rude,un proffessional,and instead of trying to negotiate a deal i had to cancel are contract as I dont do buisness with people like that...you don"t talk to people like you talk to a child...i came back to find out about when we had to vacate and Renee was so nice so I decIded to do a small unit and if i need to deal with your company i would never waste time with the manager and i don"t want to hold her against your service as that would not be fair to the company...so I am taking one star for the degrading i got from her..thank you,Kennth Luke....P.S....Your manager should never tell a customer the the other employee is just a part timer...very un professional as well...

Safe Place Mini Storage has provided simply what the name of the facility says: a place to safely store my things in a minimal amount of needed space. I stopped in the day before my move date and met Donna, who was extremely friendly, kind, informative and helpful with determining my needs for storage. She was able to swiftly get the perfect amount of space, help me use their truck for moving, and offered me a first month discount. I have been extremely happy with their services. Typically, Im reactive to my payments for most bills, and they always provide a friendly email reminder to keep me on task with my low bill payment. I am extremely grateful to have my valuables in a safe place. The access, the gate and the unit are exactly what I needed. I highly recommend this storage facility.

I have been a client of the Safe Place Mini Storage for a couple of years now and they have always been polite and kind to my family and I. They truly do take the time and care about who you are. They make you feel like a person instead of just another customer. I have an indoor, climate controlled unit - when I moved in it was clean and ready for me. I havent ever had any problems so far with this Storage place. They even give us a courtesy call when are bill is almost due! I like that because sometimes I do tend to forget. As long as I need a storage unit, I will use the Safe Place Mini Storage. I would also recommend them to anyone who needs a storage unit.

Management changes frequently. Every time the mgt changes there are small changes to the way things are done. We had 2 units - one in my name & one in my husbands and with no notification whatsoever they changed mine to my husbands name even though neither of us had requested that - thereby completely locking me out of the unit when I needed to get something quickly & when I called the 800# they refused to put my call through to the onsite manager (after office hours) because my name was not on the unit !! There are occasional computer glitches that cause problems with payments going through - even though we are on automatic payment, etc.

As the renter of a small storage unit at The Safer Place, I can say that Ive been very satisfied with my experience thus far. The units are pretty basic, but really, how fancy does it have to be? The bottom line is, they seem to take security very seriously, and and all the units that I looked at before settling on one were clean and dry. They are all quite accessible, even to a friends pickup truck and attached trailer. Loading my belongings went smoothly, and I anticipate no future problems. Based on my experience thus far, I would certainly do business with The Safer Place again!

As we prepare for our coming move, my wife and I need some interim storage so we can stage our house and have some things ready once move-in day arrives. Safe Place Mini Storage fills the bill. Renee briefed me like a true professional and patiently tolerated my many questions. Once through the paperwork, she walked me to the unit and demod the use of the latch and reminded me to turn off the lights when leaving. Knowing the managers reside on-site is reassuring and Im comfortable our "stuff" will be safe while stored at the Safe Place Mini Storage facility.

Customer service here is literally awful. The day I moved my stuff in I had already reserved their "courtesy move out truck" and when I got there they had given the truck to someone else that day. I had to scramble to get a U-Haul and the company was not apologetic or accommodating whatsoever despite the fact that I had reserved the truck. Ive had a unit here for two years and they just upped my bill ten dollars without even notifying me. Every single experience I have with their management in person or over the phone is excruciating and borderline unbearable.

I have used this facility since March. The units are very clean, roomy, well lite, well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful laid back relaxed. Very very accommodating. I will continue to use this storage over others I have seen or used. Have never had an issue with the unit or staff. Carl and Donna are top notch. Payment is very easy. The storage area is well secured. From the first call when I needed a place they responded via email and arrangements where made over the phone. on a 1 to 10 scale I give this place a 10.
