In all my years of using USPS Ive never lost a package or had one stolen. Until I started frequenting this location. I shipped a valuable gift for my nieces bat mitzvah and was checked out by Misty, it was scanned in at this location, and then disappeared. Was never scanned again and package never arrived. I cant help but suspect somebody is stealing that works at this location. Just a fair warning to everybody. Valuable items tend to disappear when shipping from this location so I would stick to low value items if you must utilize this it. I hope they figure out whats going on. Its a shame really. P.S. if management is reading this, do you notice the positive reviews that specifically compliment Mixie? Her customer service is above and beyond because she is a thief. I know this for a fact. We have mutual acquaintances. Mixie says by going above and beyond in other areas, when packages end up "missing" the finger isnt even pointed at her. She claims superior customer service takes the heat off of her and allows her do avoid suspicion. No way would they expect her of doing this. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PULL YOUR CAMERA FOOTAGE OR INVESTIGATE THIS WOMAN. This is confirmed. I promise you, do. a little digging and the truth will come out. This woman is ripping people off like crazy and will be responsible for the next USPS scandal!

So, my roommates and I have shipped 3 packages from this post office only for them to disappear and get lost. The only thing we had in common was the employee helping us. Each time our packages disappeared, it was an employee named Mixie helping us. We suspected she was stealing so we set some bait. I sent my nephew in Oregon a card with $50 cash and a $100 Amazon card for his birthday. It was obvious there was a gift card inside the birthday card. I sent it from the post office and it was accepted by Mixie. Needless to say, it never showed. You guys might wanna look into her... your employees have either seriously bad luck or sticky fingers. So sad we cant trust the post office. Id take a bad attitude over a sweet face with sticky fingers anyday. She may be outgoing and sweet but there is definitely something shady going on.

The phone line is constantly busy (Im starting to wonder if they keep it off the hook...) and I can never reach anyone there. I rented a PO Box (paid online) two weeks ago, went to the post office to finalize it and pick up the keys and was told that they had to order the keys and would call me the following week when they came in. I never heard back from anyone and my when I finally trekked all the way back up there with my three small kids in tow, the keys STILL werent in. Ugh. As many people have mentioned, there is one employee in there that is just flat out nasty. She is very crass and makes you feel as though you coming in to conduct business is a total inconvenience to her. However, there is an employee there by the name of Karen who is very sweet and personable and I enjoy working with her.

This location has the rudest black women in that post office. I could care less about her race, but she comes across as racist to white people or just rude to everyone. Im calling her out! I have had enough of her upsetting me every time I go in there! She is so rude! I try to be extra nice to her for years! She is just a miserable person spreading her negativity! She over charges on a continual basis. I know, because when I take it to another USPS, NO PROBLEM with a smile! She never says nice things back. Will not look you in face. Will even say smart condescending comments in return! They need to get rid of her or stick her in the back, if she cant be nice to her customers. Disgusted with her upsetting me with her negativity! Dont like your job, go get a new one!

The woman that works there is the most wretched person I have ever dealt with! I have only stopped there a handful of times because of this. But this last visit has cost me time and money! I brought two packages in there to be mailed that already has postage on them. she gave me a very strange and rude look but continue to take them. Never saying a word about them. Come to find out 3 days later when the packages should have arrived to the buyer they were sitting on my front porch! I will NEVER under any circumstance go back to that place!!

I have a PO box at this location. Not only is it hard to get in and out of but the lady at the desk almost always makes you feel as if you have done something wrong just by walking in the door. She obviously is not from the part of town that she works in as that area of Glen Allen is a mostly peaceful and patriotic part of town with a tight sense of community. I try to avoid having the interact with the staff as much as possible. Mostly just the bitter black lady at the counter.

very upset with how i was treated...Clerk 05 whoever she is, has to be one of the rudest people i have ever met. i cannot believe she was hired to work with people on a daily basis. huffs and puffs the whole time the transaction is being done like she hates her job. and constantly talks down to me like im stupid.. i will be finding more ways to report this because its ridiculous, that i dont even want to go to my local post office anymore just because of her..

I have been to this post office a couple of times and its ok the reason why I gave it a rating of poor/fair is because one of the employees that works at the front counter is not cheerful or friendly at all, I like to go to places where the employees are cheerful and friendly and make you feel welcome I personally think its good for the establishment...

Ive had a similar experience to other users here - the phone line seems to be continuously busy or they dont pick up the phone when it rings. Ive been trying to call them to locate a package that they misplaced and I can never get hold of anybody. I got through once and the lady said she would call me back with a resolution but I never heard back!

THIS POST OFFICE IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!!!! The new lady is very welcoming, outgoing, and GREETS YOU WITH A SMILE. I really enjoy going to this location now and seeing such a pleasant face.
