When I first rented a storage unit here January of 2013, I was VERY impressed. Mrs. Crystal helped me and my family find everything that we needed. She was right there to answer any questions that me and family had regarding size and any other questions. Mrs. Crystal was very knowlegable about the history and the background of the company. There was not one question that we had that she did not know the answer to. She walked us through the unit, we talked about prices, and she was very helpful and even gave us a business card on our way out the door and told us do not hesitate to call her if we had any questions. The office was VERY neat and orderly. NOTHING seemed out of place. You would have thought that Mrs Crsytal had been working for this company for years. Please keep up the god work Mrs. Crystal. I really appreciate the knowledge and dedication that you have to the company. Since renting from Public Storage, I have recommeded 8 family members to the company and they all have had some positive experiences with Mrs. Crystal. The fact that she ie VERY knowlegable gave me reassurance that my belongings were safe there. I would reccomend ANYONE to the Pohick Road Public Storage Location. Thaks Mrs. Crystal for all your help, with your help and dedication, this company at this location will SURELY go a long way. Keep up the good work.

Just wanted to say thank you to the staff at Public Storage at Pohick Road. Both employees Crystal and Sunil have made a difference. My most recent experience, however, was the help I received from Sunil, who exhibited great customer care with a quiet tone. At my request for alternative units he gave me my options available that day and suggested a specific unit to meet my budget needs. The suggestion was extremely helpful and as a result I decided to stay at this location as I was able to better fit my storage items without breaking the bank. So now, I plan to stay there indefinitely, no need to move. The location is excellent in relation to Alexandria as well as Fairfax city. Sunil checked on me as I was moving from one unit to another that weekend to see how I was doing and overall made the experience more pleasant than I had anticipated. In addition, he advised on what he thought would be an appropriate choice on my inquiry about the boxes at the facility, which I will be using for further organization. Thanks to Sunil I left a happy customer, despite the drudge of having to spend my weekend moving storage, never a fun way to spend time. Thank you Sunil.

I have been with this public storage facility for years , and have been very happy with their operation. Recently I had the need to go in to the office to make a request for longer hours of access to my storage unit due to the nature of business that I have, it would be a tremendous help and convenience if I could get in to my unit earlier in the day, or later in the evening. I met with the location manager , Kelly , and she listened to my needs and concerns about the limited access , and she understood my reasons for this request because sometimes there is a reason for repairs at odd hours, so she passed my request up line and got me approved for longer access to my unit which has made my life so much easier. I was prepared to go elsewhere and find another 10 x 30 unit that would extend my hours of accessibility , but Kelly proved to me that she cared about my need and went the extra step to make me happy , which is why I will remain a public storage customer for a long time. I am pleased to have this opportunity to write review for Mr. Sunil, with whom I have been recently acquainted at Lorton Public Storage facilities. In his capacity as a facility representative for me, he was the individual who first helped me understand how the system works and what my and their obligations are as well as how to choose the right size storage room based on my storage needs. His skills and knowledge as a facility representative are first rate - he his highly knowledgeable about the customers requirements, able to answer my questions in detail and with great fluency even about a range of possible issues/concerns; and he is easy to talk to and work with as well. To me, Mr. Sunil comes across as a very professional individual capable of undertaking serious work in a friendly and collaborative way. This, in turn, certainly encouraged me to take seriously his advices in the consideration regarding storage related matters and scenarios. I recommend Sunil with great enthusiasm and encourage anyone who is in need of storage to go and talk to him.

Worst customer service experience ever. Katy was extremely rude. I phoned to follow-up on what I was told was a billing error. I tried to explain my understanding but Katy told me to rudely be quiet. We ended up paying the equivalent of an extra months storage in late fees because they had increased our storage rate and sent the notices to an incorrect address. We had previously changed our address in February with Public Storage. Katy could care less and made no attempts to keep us as customers. She also seemed to be calling my bluff about vacating the unit. We just moved out on 8/28/16 and are moving to a competitor. We will be paying $30 more, but it is worth not having to deal with horrible people. We ran into another person vacating his unit and he expressed the same concerns.

One day I went into public storage very confuse and loss, having no idea what sizes of boxes and tape I needed to pack some house hold items, the first thing I noticed was how clean and tidy the environment was,one of your representative Chrystal Parks helped me so much, which I appreciate so much, she had a great attitude, always smiling, very positive, showed me the different types of boxes, also offered me storage, explaining the total process, I did not get storage that day, but in the near future I will get storage, I will spread the word to my friends and acquaintances, because of the great service I received from miss parks at public storage. The only reason this place gets two stars is because Kelly is awesome. I feel bad that Ive forgotten to submit a review and Kelly is super nice about reminding me, but the management needs to change their policies about requiring reviews. Its borderline harassment to continually demand reviews and require Kelly to call multiple times. Also, fix the bathroom lock - Its broken and with a smaller potty training toddler, its not cool. The place is overall clean and Kelly is the best employee by far... the other young lady that attends the front desk is pretty rude and laughs at customers trying to figure out the trolleys (which are difficult to maneuver).

I needed storage , so I stopped in at the Storage facility on Pohick. I immediately liked the environment because it was clean and bright. After speaking to Crystal, I knew that this facility would fit my criteria because she was very friendly and helpful. After renting the unit Crystal continued to be very helpful and assisted me in whatever capacity she could. I was so impressed with her assistance and friendliness that my friend also rented a unit there. I will continue to recommend this storage facility to anyone.
