I have known Kevin, the General Manager, at the Falls Church Cubesmart for quite some time. When I needed a storage unit, he always strived to find me the best available storage unit which met my needs. He always informed me of all my options and explained company policy accurately so I understood the rules. Friendly and courteous to me and everyone, Kevin is a shining star. More than that, Kevin developed relationships with businesses nearby such as Unique Thrift Store where I have worked as a Donation Attendant. Often, people would buy items from Unique and need a storage facility at Cubesmart or Cubesmart customers would need to donate items from their storage unit to our Community Donation Center. In the process, both Kevin and I would know and serve the same customers. Because of this, Kevin and I have often discussed how we can improve our service to these customers or offer ideas which can help improve our perspective operations. One example involved our need for cardboard boxes at our Community Donation Center which helped us sort and organize donations being sent to our Production Department. Kevin not only provided us used boxes but would mention to Cubesmart customers our needs when they had excess boxes they wished to discard. These customers were very happy to have donated those boxes and we were very happy to have received them. This is just one of many examples about how Kevin would create these win-win solutions so I wish there was another star I could give him. Why? Because, when it comes to Kevin, 5 stars are simply inadequate.

This place raises their rates annually, and are not competitive in regards to their pricing, and do not intend to be. Rate increases are more an opportunity to increase profit margins than to offset tangible costs incurred by the facility. They are very aware of the inconvenience of having to move your items to a competitive facility, and raise their rates every year, not because of any additional overhead costs, but simply because they can. Dont be fooled by their "Same Space, Same Price" mantra, where is the price the same? Also, their “convenience fee” for paying online is also just another money grab on their part and out of touch with industry standards, but given the above, no surprise. Get it any way you can. Right? Newsflash – the convenience is theirs, not yours. If you mail a check to them postmarked the first day of the month and then its received and cashed up to 10 days later, that would create a far greater inconvenience for them, not you. In closing, I have no Axe to grind, I simply have to warn you - they WILL raise their rates, the rates WILL BE non-competitive in todays market, and they will do nothing when this is brought to their attention. Personnel-wise, theyre good people, but have to justify their corporations opportunist fiscal behavior. I hope they enjoyed the 5 years of rental - I just paid the final month I will be there. Which reminds me - no pro-rating partial months - if youre in there on the second day of the month, the full month is due and payable. Again, no surprise - very opportunist corporation. Youve been warned.

It was a bit busy when my wife and I got there, but it was only a 20 minute wait. I think thats pretty good, considering Kevin was the only one on duty. Once he got to us it was smooth sailing. We got an inside unit, which is listed as climate controlled. Ive never rented storage before, so am unsure what the industry standard is for that. I had expected air-conditioned, like a house. This was not the case and it was hot to me. However several fans kept it from being oppressively so. All in all, Id definitely recommend this place. Kevin has a great attitude and a winning personality.

We have had a storage unit with CubeSmart Falls Church for almost two years now. The facility has always provided great service and the location is great. Its easy to move things in and out with the loading docks and everything being on the same floor. In particular, Russell Brannan, the general manager has always been so professional and courteous. Read Kevins good reviews, and Rented CubeSmart unit last month, Kevin nice and helpful. Today went in to pay unit invoice. I asked billing question and Kevin became extremely argumentative, rude, and antagonistic. I was taken aback, dismayed! I dont believe he would have behaved this way had I sent son to pay invoice and ask billing question. I could not believe the personality change! Beware! Will be speaking with HQ, soonest.

Kevin Boylen truly goes beyond the call in customer service even when we were worried about going over our space and needed a additional cube Kevin offered to stay another hour and half to ensure we got that additional space and that we are happy. Kevin is so pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this storage center and do ask for Kevin too.

Ive had a storage unit with Cube Smart in Falls Church since they began.The employees have always been friendly and accommodating. The facility is very clean too, which means a lot. I was there today and Kevin, the current manager, was very helpful and informative. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of a storage unit.

This is an affordable option in the Falls Church area. It is a clean facility and the space is perfect. The manager, Kevin Boylen, was extremely professional, informative and helpful. He was incredibly nice and even handed me a bottle of water after I moved in on a HOT day! Two thumbs up!

Love the staff here! Extremely helpful and courteous. I reserved my space on line and already had a delivery come in earlier than expected and Kevin held it for me under lock and key! storage rooms are clean and easy to access!
