BEWARE!! I had been taking my vehicle to this location for many years and thought they could be trusted. Sadly they lost that trust and a customer. I brought my vehicle in for an inspection and they stated the tie rod needed to be replaced and that an alignment would then need to be completed. They estimated it to be a little over $400 which I told them to go ahead and do (even though instinct told me to call my friend who works on cars because that is a little steep). I left the shop as they said it would be a couple hours and came back only to wait around for another hour. I paid for the work done and left the shop. While driving down J Clyde Blvd. just before the overpass heading towards Warwick, I heard a loud clunk and then next thing I know I see one of my tires detached from my vehicle and rolling down J Clyde. I was only going 20 to 25 mph as I was accelerating and was able to safely stop on the left shoulder. I had only gotten 2 or 3 miles before this happened. I immediately called Precision Tune and spoke with Crystal and then called NNPD as I needed blue lights behind me as not to cause an accident. I told her what happened and that I would need a tow truck. She said that someone was on their way to my location. The manager John, known as "Blue" arrived and proceeded to put my tire back on my car. My boyfriend found it at least a mile up the road. The tow truck arrived and he stated he would get it taken care of and call me in the morning. The next day at approximately 11:30 am he stated it was finished. My friend who works on cars and is very knowledgeable with them went with me. Mainly so they couldnt pull one over on me as I am a female. When I approached the counter Blue handed me a greasy bolt and stated why the tire came off and handed me my key expecting me to be on my way is my guess. He also stated he did not touch my right rear tire in the process of working on my car. Which I found suspicious. It appeared to me that he could not admit they messed up or apologize. I asked if there was anything that could be done to compensate, maybe even a partial refund for the work done the prior day. He stated they could not do that, but could give me a credit to the shop. Problem is I do NOT trust this shop or Precision Tune so credit a credit would do nothing. At this point I went out to my vehicle and retrieved my inspection which is CLEARLY marked that they DID operate on my vehicles right rear tire. I approached Blue immediately about this and showed him the inspection that he did work on it and my tire rolling down J Clyde was due to him not doing his job properly. He stated that on accident he marked the right rear on the inspection but was unable to "unmark" it on the computer. So essentially he printed out and gave me an incorrect inspection sheet to keep in my vehicle. Not once did he fess up, admit to anything or apologize. He thought he could give me the run around and get me to go away. I proceeded to go home and made contact with the area representative Darryl. He gave me the same go around as Blue of offering a credit, which again I do not trust this shop. Then a few days later the Senior VP made contact and stated they attempted to review footage of the work area to see what work was done and said, "this is embarrassing, but the camera had not been working properly for the past couple days." How convenient! Then he too tried to offer me a store credit to any store, which again I DONT trust your company especially now with the video footage not "working" properly. I stated I would like to get my vehicle looked at by at third party just to ensure no damage was done to my car and he stated by policy they would not pay the bill. All in all DO NOT go to this store as they clearly cant take the moral high ground OR admit when they do something incorrectly. I respect honesty a lot more. I could have been seriously injured/killed had I gotten on the highway or someone else could have been seriously injured/killed.

First off they are rude. The lady at the counter the manager all are rude. Second they have mechanics that dont know what they are doing. Had a simple job to get done and dont use the right tools or even read the stickers labeled on the parts on how to do things. Broke my fan clutch and tried to say it was my fault and charge me an extra 173 dollars to fix it when I just replaced it 6 months ago and tightened down by hand and they tried to tell me that I torqued it down to hard but thats not possible when I only made it snug with my hand. They instead of loosening my fan clutch they over torqued it because they couldnt read that it was reverse threaded and righted it up instead and cross threaded it and got it stuck to the point it wont come off now. They continued to lie to my face that its my fault and that they didnt break it in which they did. I told them that mistakes happen and that they need to own up to their mistake and fix what they broke and Im still willing to pay for what I came in for them to fix. And then I dealt with corporate and im not sure if they man from corporate is worse than the manager at the precision tune auto in Newport News va. Both were aweful. Asked to speak to someone above him and was told that hes the highest up their is when he is definitely not be CEO of the company. So please no one ever take your vehicles to this broken down barn to get work done on your cars or trucks. They scam you with prices. They mess things up even more than they were already. They lie and cant treat customers with respect. I will never be taking my vehicle to this place ever again. I will walk first than take any car of mine here.

ATTENTION WOMEN THEY WILL TAKE YOU TO THE CLEANERS IF YOU LET THEM!! This place is terrible. I have gotten my oil changed a few times here. Each time I have gone in they come back saying their is all sort of things wrong. First time it was a oil pan gasket leak and a valve cover gasket leak which would cost over $300 in cost and labor. Second time just a few months ago I took my car in because it needed an oil change and I didnt have time to do it myself. When I came back for my car they said the timing belt needed to be changed, the water pump needed to be replaces, both drive belts needed replacing, and the Valve cover gasket was leaking. I already had replaced the Valve cover gasket months prior when it actually was leaking. The water pump and timing belt had already been replaced when I bought the car and it wasnt time for them to be done. I took my car to my uncle who said none of what they said was true. The only belt that needed to be replaced was the AC belt and it still had 6 months left on it. To replace the 2 belts alone they were gonna charge me $250. Just because I am a woman they thought they could get over on me. Luckily im smarter than that and im not Car illiterate. To bad I had to rate them with 1 star they deserve none. These people will nickel and dime you BEWARE. Get a second opinion if you can before allowing any major repairs to be done.
