Cathy and her team absolutely knocked it out of the park with our cocktail hour and reception. We were married May 20, 2017 at The Historic Post Office in Hampton, VA. Cocktail Hour was at The Carousel. From set up, presentation, taste and breakdown and clean up, I give Cathy Carter 10 stars!! We had cocktail shrimp, crab dip, fruit and cheese displays, bacon wrapped scallops and caprese skewers for cocktail hour. Guests are still raving about the crab dip and how much fun the carousel was for cocktail hour. The guest were then invited back to The Historic Post Office, where the staff had assisted in flipping the room. Guests were created by a delicious salad with champagne vinaigrette dressing. The 20+ kids in attendance were almost immediately served their kids meals. Then the guests were served an amazing dinner family style. They had platters of beef tenderloin, Parmesan crusted chicken and Cathys fabulous crabcakes, mashed potatoes, roasted veggies and homemade yeast rolls. Once again, guests are still complimenting the food and how wonderful it was. Cathys delivery is artistic, delicious and just over the top incredible. I cannot say enough good things about Cathy Carter and East Beach Catering! Whether a rehearsal dinner, birthday party, baby shower or wedding reception, she will NOT disappoint. Cathy also prepared the sweetest "going away" back for my new husband and I! It had so much food we made almost 3 meals out of it! Cathy doesnt forget any details. I could go on and on about how pleased I am! Give Cathy and her team the opportunity to make your wedding the day of your dreams!! Thanks Cathy! Love ya, Leesa & Ray!

Cathy and her assistant Jill were amazing. I sent them tons of emails over the course of wedding planning and they responded to everyone. They made my wedding a dream wedding. The food was amazing and all our guests were raving about it. My mother-in-law said that she could never eat a crab cake from FL again. It was truly an honor to work with her. They give you everything that you could possibly want. They even helped me come up with a signature drink that matched my navy blue them. We interviewed many other caterers and no one came close to Cathy’s professionalism, menu, or creativity. If you are looking for a caterer she is the one. Many other caterers in Virginia Beach are just so stuck up and Cathy is the farthest thing from that. And her staff at our wedding was amazing. Additionally, they helped us clean up at the end which was priceless. There is not a negative thing that can be said about Cathy or her staff. You would be lucky to have her as your caterer.

BEWARE.....It has been a week now. I needed time to think this through. We contracted East Beach Catering to serve at our daughters wedding. They made promises to my daughter and her husband, most of them did play out the way they hoped. Not to mention that one of their employees was seen leaving with a full case of beer that I paid for. When my daughter contacted them they blew it all off and told her she should have told them that night instead of waiting a couple of days. So she should have taken time away from her wedding day to deal with what they should have done themselves. BEWARE.

East Beach went over and above their catering requirements. East Beachs wonderful Denise helped so much with all the questions, concerns and recommendations the bride & groom had when it came to wedding planning. I would highly recommend using East Beach not only for their delicious cuisine but for all their event advice and support as well!
