Worst movers ever. The three movers this company sent clearly had very little experience. The distance between our old and new home is about five miles. The whole job should have been done in 6-8 hours but it ended up taking close to 12. We hired them to help pack and even though we had done a lot of it already, they were very slow and inept. They over wrapped plastic containers while not using any wrap at all for things like the dish drainer that poked through the box and almost scratched my new floor (luckily my husbands quick reflexes caught it). They loaded the truck incorrectly and could not fit all of our belongings even though there was plenty of room. They tried to reload which took more time and still couldnt figure it out so they ended up making two trips. My husband and his friend had to help to with the loading/unloading and packing to get things moving. One guy was actually puking outside supposedly due to allergies (probably hung over). When we complained they had to pick up the pace, we were told by the supervisor on the phone that they go slower to avoid damage. I guess that means breaking just one glass and marking up freshly painted walls doesnt count as damage. Another one of our friends jumped in to help and had to explain how to get a mattress up the stairs. We also had to re-put together our bed frame as it collapsed when they tried to put a mattress on it. We ended up doing the other ones. When they set down our entertainment center at the front door and were discussing how to carry it inside, I almost thought I was on candid camera. It was one ridiculous thing after another all day. They knocked a little off of the price for boxes and offered to paint the damaged walls but I would never trust these people to do anything in my home and the amount taken off the bill in no way pays for all the stress and aggravation.

Worst experience EVER!!!! They were only moving me out of a 2 bedroom apartment into a 3 bedroom apartment. They did pack me up also, but between packing and moving, it took THREE DAYS!!!!! And I was on a time crunch to get out of my old apartment! The first day they didnt show up at all, and I was told their truck broke down. The 2nd day they didnt show up til 4 pm!! When I asked the movers whos truck broke down, I was told "no ones....they tell people that all the time because they double book our jobs. Thats why were just getting here today at 4:00 also". They were also VERY SLOW!!!!! Once I was FINALLY moved, I discovered they stole a bunch of change (about $300 worth) out of a tall jar, and left the jar empty and hidden behind something. To make matters much worse, when I called the company to ask to speak to a manager, the woman on the phone wouldnt let me, and when I told her why I was calling, she had an I-dont-give-a crap attitude. I even told her I was going to contact the police and the BBB, and she just said, "do whatever you want". UNBELIEVABLE!!!! How does a company like this stay in business? And HOW do they have an A+ rating with the BBB???

If I were able to leave 0 stars, I would. This is the absolute worst moving company we have ever dealt with in 35-years of moves. They lost boxes, a rug, and other furniture. They crushed a power washer, destroyed furniture edges by dragging the pieces on the ground, destroyed a new washer and dryer set, dented, gouged, scratched and scraped the other furnishings. Dragged a VERY expensive area rug and tore off the fringe. By the end of the night, the crew was fighting, my son had to step in and help unload, they refused to move a work bench into the house saying I would have to sign a damage waiver - my two 160lb sons moved it up the stairs with no problem. They also modified paperwork and said we had to sign it saying they unpacked items when all they did was unbox 2 mattresses. They didnt even put together the beds as required by their contract. After calling and waiting since mid-June, we have no items returned and they refuse to return our calls. I do NOT recommend this company!!!! Furthermore, the weights for the shipment have changed at least 4 times since they started the move.

WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER!!!! They did our military move and it was by far the worst experience I have encountered. The packers didnt completely pack all my things. They left a drawer full of kitchen supplies, a dozen champagne flutes, drinking glasses and other miscellaneous items UNPACKED! Luckily I was moving 3 hrs away and was able to bring it with me. On the first day, they came at 3pm and only packed for an hour. The following day, they packed my stuff half ass and didnt protect fragile items. Im still unpacking so Im in the process of seeing what is broken. The movers showed up late and we were not informed what time they were arriving. I had movers SITTING on my couch while they waited for more supplies. I called the company to complain about the packers and left multiple messages, even to the owner to no avail. Come the day of delivery, NO CALL NO SHOW!! They showed up two days later! I had to call the company myself to see the status of my delivery. They were unprofessional and they DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

New Bell Moving and Storage is the worst moving company I have ever had the opportunity to experience. If I could give them below 1 star on this review I would. I am in the military and have moved 3 times over the past 5 years and this was by far the worst experience . I have nothing good to say about this moving company. I will also be providing a formal complaint. The movers were extremely rude. One mover actually said to me "what am I grittin at" which I Iater found out, that is slang for what am I looking at. One mover got really disrespectful as if he wanted to fight me. I called his supervisor and he was no help at all. I would not recommend this company to my enemy. I didnt get my things on time, and it took them a very long time to finish, in my opinion a small delivery. You would think military members would be treated better. The movers acted as if they were doing me a favor, not paid employees. Do your self a favor and hire someone else.

*****WORST MOVING COMPANY IN THE WORLD***** Did not show up for scheduled appointment. Im still waiting. Called company and they couldnt even get a hold of truck because dispatcher was out. Amateur Hour...I tried to give Zero stars but apparently you have to give at least one. If you are paying for a move I recommend finding someone else or just throw all your stuff away. Driver called me and when I asked him what time he would arrive and when he would be leaving, he started by giving me his schedule and why he was late. When I cut him off by telling him I didnt care about his excuse matrix, I apparently hurt his feelings. He told me he was providing me a service, this isnt a privilege. The last time I checked, a service was "the action of helping or doing work for someone." No work has been accomplished here. WORST MOVING COMPANY IN THE WORLD (at least the norfolk area.)
