I want to express my sincerest appreciation for the fine job done by Walter and Trina at the Reston, VA Extra Space Storage facility. They are both professional and personable making it a pleasurable experience storing your property at their facility. Their professionalism results in getting the best value storage solution for your particular situation. By being personable, they treat you with dignity and respect where you dont feel like a number, e.g. "unit 1234," like some other businesses do. They never make me feel like my business doesnt matter to them. Recently the dynamic duo helped me find a different sized unit that better suited my storage needs and was a better value for me. Then they took the extra steps to follow up with me until the transfer of property was completed, to ensure that all was going well. I cant emphasize how important this was to this customers satisfaction. Thanks again to Walter and Trina for taking care of people when it comes to finding a storage solution.

After a tree fell on our house and destroyed it, we had to move out - fast. When we knew wed have a chance to pull our belongings out of the (condemned) home, Extra Space Storage on Sunrise Valley Drive was our first google result, and we called right away. We rented a unit late on a Saturday afternoon. Trina was kind and professional, and I was impressed with the facility. It only got better from there, as Trina and Walter went out of their way to make sure our storage needs were met while checking in on us too, in the aftermath of the shock of losing our home. Having rented a few storage units in the past in other places in Virginia, I was impressed with the service -- including the on-site rest room! And, I dont think Ive ever had a "tour" of a storage facility before (more like a cursory "Unit x is down the lane on the right"). Our entire experience with this facility has been positive, and Im happy to recommend them.

Let me start off by saying, theres a reason why this place has such good reviews. The facility is clean, well maintained and very affordable. The owners are incredibly nice people, just about as nice a family as youll ever meet. My wife and I were between places for about a month and they were very helpful in providing assistance with navigating the various storage options and finding a unit that fit our needs for a great price. Truth be told, it does help that theyre just around the corner from our new place, but even if we were 10 miles away we still would have chosen to use their storage. Theres no better peace of mind, when it comes to storage, than knowing that you are leaving your most prized possessions in the hands of great people. They truly understand customer service. Its great to know that we have new friends in the neighborhood. I could not recommend this place more!

As we prepare our house for selling after 28 years, its time to start the "staging" process and clear out some things we wont need until we move. That means packing and storing items until we move. i found two self-store, climate-controlled facilities are within three miles of our house. ExtraSpace Storage was one, and the first one I checked. I stopped by ExtraSpace first, and called a halt to the search. Walter and Trina were great. A unit was available that met our needs, the facility and the unit were clean. The monthly cost was competitive. Trina showed the unit to me, explained the rental process and costs, and within 20 minutes I reserved the unit. We signed the lease and started using the unit within two days. Walter and Trinas help has been outstanding. Thank you, Walter and Trina.

I have been with Extra Space Storage for nearly 4 years now and the experience I have had has been top notch. The staff is always friendly and willing to help and the facility is kept clean and free of clutter. In the 4 years I have been there I have been in three different storage units upgrading once to a larger unit to house my Jeep and again to a smaller but a climate controlled unit after I took the Jeep out. Both times the staff was friendly and looked to give the best deal possible even to the point of recommending that I book the unit online to get a better rate. All in all I would rate this facility very high and recommend them to anyone in the reston area that needs a little extra storage space.

The staff here are awesome! I rented a unit here for my old company for a year and closed it out in August when I left the company. But recently when I was searching where to rent a unit for myself this was the first place I thought to come and even wanted to come. It was a no brainier. Every one is so friendly and kind, like they actually care about other people and you can tell just by how they are. You know youre not just another unit number when you come here. With past storage units, like usual you dread having to go because its just annoying but I actually dont mind here because everyones so cool and they engage with you and build relationships with the customers. Its not often you can do business in NoVA with such genuine and friendly people as are Trina and Walter, the owners. They made my time renting a unit there easy, happy and reassuring. They will welcome you with big smiles and really take an interest in you and your needs. They make it so easy to find what you need in any way. Ive been renting storage space at Extra Space Storage for 4 years or more now. Since day one Walter and Trina the managers of the Reston Storage branch, have been AWESOME and very accommodating all the time. The facility is always clean and the professionalism of these two wonderful people makes renting space here warm and inviting. My storage space started out 10x10. As of October 2015, Ive reduced my unit to a 5x5. I wasnt using the items being stored. So, it was time to donate to those who could use the items. The managers, Walter & Trina Minor, are the most friendly and helpful storage managers ever. We have had storage units for the last 30/35 years at various locations and the Minors, by far, have been the best. A couple of years back, I had a medical emergency and Trina recognized that I was not my normal self and called 911. I remember very little of the episode but my sister who had spoken w/Trina at the time, has told me about it. When visiting from NJ, she took the time to come in and personally thank the Minors for their assistance. I cannot speak more highly of the Minors.

A++ Rating for this Storage Facility! Very well run and convenient storage facility. Always clean, well maintained, well lit, and secure facility. All storage units are at ground level which is a big plus. No one wants to wait for an elevator. Customer service is above and beyond what you find at most businesses these days. The managers Walter and Trina always go the extra mile in providing service in a friendly and efficient manner. If you need a storage facility, you cant go wrong here.
